Great base for exploring Khao Sok. Bungalow was less basic than I thought based on past reviews. There was AC, a hot shower, fridge in room, it was really clean. From description at time of booking versus reality we were very happy. The pool was big, clean, had sunbeds and there is a restaurant on site open all day meaning you can enjoy lunch and a cold drink during the day between excursions. Right in centre of town. Can't think why you would book anywhere else! We booked the half day trekking and night trek through the lodges and both were great, our guide Bon was really good and we spotted lots of animals.

This is a lovely resort with a small pool and restaurant. The lodges are lovely and have everything you need. It’s positioned well for access to the national park and we took a half day trek through the Park with a guide named Bowie. This was organised through the resort. We also bought a full day’s trip on Khao Sok lake - this was ok. The weather was wet which didn’t help and it rained for the full day. This involved an hour’s drive to the lake, a long boat for another hour to get off for a 20 minute ‘trek’. We then looked inside a cave and went to an outdoor centre with lunch at a floating restaurant. The food was ok, the toilets were awful but the swimming and kayaking was fun. The guide wasn’t a great communicator and seemed a bit shy. The Royal Bamboo lodge - The resort has a nice pool. The breakfast is nice. The staff are very helpful. There are lots of restaurants on the Main Street to choose from. The place is kept clean and everything appears to be well maintained.

We had a nice stay at The Royal Bamboo Lodge, even though it was raining during our visit. The rooms were clean and the bed linen had a fresh, pleasant scent that made us feel instantly comfortable. A nice touch was the leather sofa placed next to the beds, adding extra seating and comfort. The accommodation has two terraces/balconies - one in the front and a smaller one at the back - both offering a cozy space to relax. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and dry despite the humid weather. The pool, while smaller than it appeared in the pictures, was ideal for a nighttime swim, which we really enjoyed. It was clean and well-maintained. Overall, we had a relaxing experience, and the lodge offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The restaurant was a bit overpriced comparing to other places nearby.

No complaints at all. Right in the middle of Khao Sok town. Very nice atmosphere. Lots of greenery, water features, ponds, flowers, plants Lovely swimming pool with restaurant. Massage service available Great tour choices. We booked the overnight lake trip and had an incredible time. The rooms on the lake were perfect, with private bathroom right on the water edge. We saw elephants which was amazing. They held our luggage whilst on the trip. Definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing to complain about.

We had an excellent and relaxing stay at The Royal Bamboo Lodge, and it is in close proximity to all the amenities and the national park. The staff are fantastic, and Ning, on reception, was brilliant at organising all our transfers and tours to ensure we had a great time at Kho Sok. She recommended the on-site Thai massage, which was amazing, and she made sure our stay was perfect. Also, the tours were great, and the jungle tour was superb!

Cabins have a rustic feel about them, and surrounding area (plants, various fruit trees etc)is very well taken care of. On site Restuarant offers quality food. Complimentary Breakfast was quite good. Best of all was the honesty of the staff. Left my money/passport wallet behind - they found it and returned all intact!! Thanks to Bobo and Ning!! They also arranged transportation to/from KHAO SOK and you can make on site reservations with front office staff to a variety of excursions.

Rooms were basic had all the amenities you could need. A/C, fridge, water in room, warm shower, comfy bed, safe for valuables. Pool was lovely to relax by, breakfast was really tasty. Best of all was the location, right on the main street opposite great bars and restaurants. Perfect base to stop before going on to explore the national parks. Staff were very attentive, we didn't get chance to do any excursions through the hotel but they looked good

Not always enough sun loungers by the pool.

This hotel looks and feels so new! The staff are always taking care of you and make sure you're good, rooms are clean and tidy, the restaurant is wonderful (had the best pineapple lassi there in all of thailand) and also make discounts on the food if you're staying. The water pressure in the shower isn't the best but that's the most i could think of. felt like we were staying in a luxury jungle hotel :)

Lovely little oasis in Koh Sok with a gorgeous swimming pool! Lots of fireflies around our deck at night time which was super neat to see. All the staff were super friendly helping us book night safaris, day trips and transportation onwards. We also had access to unlimited tea, coffee and water which was a nice touch. Only a 10 minute walk to one of the entrances of the National Park, so an excellent location to use the hiking trails.

The swimming pool was clean and refreshing, cute bungalows in a very peaceful tropical garden setting. AC worked well & rooms had fridge, kettle and safe. Good breakfast also included. They can arrange lake tours, all activities and transport.

Nothing. Wished we had longer here. It was much better than where we stayed for our first 2 nights and only slightly more per night.
