What a lovely getaway off the main road with the location being right next to the flowing river. You feel like you’re away from it all in nature! The staff are amazing! When we were dropped off we realised we had left a bag in the Taxi, they quickly jumped to our help in organising to get it back. Above and beyond! The rooms were everything that you see on the website, comfortable with good air-conditioning. I recommend booking your day tours and trips here at the resort as well, they really look after you. They even organised our private taxi to our next location, keeping it all in house was stress free. The restaurant has great quality food, the complimentary breakfast is beautiful and all you need. It’s a quick walk to the main street where everything is available.

The pillows

The threehouse with aircon was both beautiful and fun. Great to be in the tree tops, feels like you’re in the jungle while you’re a short walk away from restaurants as well. Staff were super nice and helpful, both in the hotel as well as for arranging tours. We booked a 2 days 1 night tour with them and a night safari tour. Both were well organized. For the overnight tour I recommend to book the option with private bathroom and fan. All rooms are budget options but i feel that our room had the great value of having an unobstructed view of the lake, both out front and from the window in the back. When in doubt, ask about it when booking. They will surely try to help you out. No swimming pool, but a quick dip (or swing from a rope) in the river is fun and will cool you down. All in all: good value for money!

I love the jungle environment, loving life to live in a tree house. Staff is super friendly, bought 2 excursions from them as they also have their own Tourism company which was great from 2 reasons: price point so much cheaper with them compare with anything from getyourguide.com, more than half of the price, and the way they organized the tours was very good, they did not squeeze 100 people in bus or long tail boat in Khao Sok like some agencies do in Phuket to Similan Islands by fitting 50 people like sardines in speed boat. Location is amazing, in the heart of the nature, even if raining is amazing to be there. Monkeys around in the first day, i was hmmm at the begining, but monkeys are minding their business, they dont aggressive like the one on monkey beach/bay or even Bali, and thats a sign they dont feed them so monkeys are busy finding their own food which is great because you can actually watch them in their natural habitat. As long as you dont feed them, you are good and safe. They even offer me to drive me back to Krabi which is nice. Breakfast is decent, you get a really good portion of fresh fruits, really good size, besides the omlet.

This stay was brilliant. Our tree house with air con was fantastic. The staff at check in and throughout the stay were keen to help and really friendly. Our power went out one day (first rain of the season, the maintenance man thinks, set it off!) and he was up in the treehouse with a ladder, fixing it, within minutes. Breakfast was nice - fresh fruits and eggs - and the two tours we went on were fantastic. The night safari with Lift was a great experience (we laughed for the whole trip) and the whole day lake trip was also brilliant - our guide on this trip was a really funny, quirky woman too with lots of knowledge to share. I will say these trips were excellent value - VERY different to our experience in Bangkok with Viator trips where the guides were notably very business-like and rushed through every bit of the day dispassionately. The food on our trips with this resort was also much better than in Bangkok. The famed pad Thai at the restaurant was lovely but we would also recommend Black Stone over the road for very cheap, great quality tasty Thai food. We chose not to do the elephant tour because the resort buys the elephants for a high price from their cruel owners in order to 'rescue' them - our feeling is this isn't particularly ethical as ultimately it incentivises the original owners. They are, in some cases, getting 15000000 bhat from the resort when ultimately they abused the elephants. HOWEVER the sanctuary itself seems really lovely and their 3 elephants are really well treated here 😁 just personally not for us. The other thing to say is that Poon (the owner) did present us with all of the tours and trips on offer immediately when we arrived. However, I think this is the right approach because it means if you want to use all of your time creatively you have the best chance of getting lots of things in. For example, we were literally on a night safari less than 2 hours after arriving!

The location in the forest is very cool. However, the tree houses are not as private as it seems in the pictures. There are other tree houses close by and the gravel road leading to the resort was behind our tree house. This was never intrusive, but means you are not as alone as it first seems. We had a tree house with air conditioning and would definitely choose so again. The staff was very friendly and helped us also to organise our onwards journey. There are many restaurants and Massage salons in walking distance.

Unfortunately the shower is outside, which seems like a cool idea at first but means, that you are also a feast for the mosquitoes outside. In the bathroom there were very little shelves or furniture to put down your toiletries.

I can't express enough how much I loved our stay! The lady running the place was so friendly and helpful :) I've travelled a lot in Asia over the last 10 years and this was one of the best and most beautiful stays I've had. So close to the nature, you can hear it all around you. There are so many types of trees and plants everywhere that make the place extra special :) you can see how much the people, that work/live there, care for this place and it seems like there is one big happy family. Such nice family atmosphere takes you in and you just want to be part of it. Don't miss out on this experience! We stayed only 3 nights in an air conditioned room and I wish we could stay at least 5 to just chill and even more enjoy the garden, riverside and watch the monkeys playing in the trees. Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay and experience! There is nothing negative I can say about this place. There was one couple that booked a room with a fan and then complained about the heat. First of all, if you are coming to Thailand in their summer time, you have to be able to take some hot temperatures and if you book a room with a fan, don't take this on the owner who is working hard to make a living and don't leave bad reviews for something that is your own fault and decision. This behaviour is so unfair and I feel so sorry for amazing places like this one that suffer from spoiled people's comments and reviews while their hotel/resort is literally heaven like this one! ♡ We also booked a day trip to the lake and the other day ethical Khao Sok elephant sanctuary visit and the owner helps also with transportation. Beautiful settings which really make you feel like you’re in the jungle. The owners are so sweet and helpful and they also have 2 very friendly dogs which was a bonus. The location was so quiet and only a short walk from the main Khao Sok strip of bars and restaurants. Monkeys roam through the hotel in the morning which was amazing to see and they also don’t bother tourists. Highly recommended this place for a nice quiet relaxing spot.

Really really beautiful location! Short walk to the main Khao Sok street with restaurants and shops etc. The resort had many beautiful, colourful trees and was alongside a nice river you can go tubing on (in the right conditions!). There are chickens and dogs and a lovely vibe. The staff were extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (tea and fruit and eggs your way and toast). The staff were very helpful with organising activities last minute. We had a fan room and the fan kept the room cool enough, so no problems with that. Mosquito net was provided for over the bed.

Due to the placement of a real tree in the bathroom there are some ants (very minimal amount) in the bathroom. This is expected, given it is a treehouse, so this did not bother us very much! The staff were also very good in offering to clean our rooms which got rid of this issue.

This was one of the best three houses I have stayed. So i dont understand some complaints of other guests. It is spacious and in very nice and silent enviroment. You will hear only the nature :) it is not a hotel room, so in case you are sensitive for outside nature noise ear plugs are advised. it is around 5 min. Walking distance to the main road full of restaurants and shops. Their restaurant is under reconstruction. Breakfast very tasty, eggs/ fresh local fruits/ coffee and juice. Resort is handled by very nice owners who will help you organize trips/transfers. They have very spacious are/ garder where you can spot monkeys playing.

Overall experience was fantastic and following points are sth were it could be better. I missed space/wardrobe to put the clothes Curtains are very light, so for someone sensitive to light, bring eyes mask :)

The tours didn't meet our expectations, specially the "day in the lake", which was more like a day in the boat. It was supposed to include a 1km trekking in the jungle, but it wasn't more than 300 meters or so. Lunch was at a floating restaurant with no proper place to swim. The other tour we did was canoeing in the river, which had a duration of 2,5 hours but the whole thing finished in 1,5 hours. At the end, they brought us our picture and asked 200 baths for it, which made us feel a bit trapped. I don't think this issue is related to this hotel in particular, though - you'll get the same tours in the other hotels.
