Generally, I had a good stay at Days Inn. The rooms have been recently refurbished and feel refreshed, which made for a comfortable environment. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive. That said, I would recommend a bit more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning — a little more precision would elevate the experience. Also, the soundproofing could be improved, as it was quite easy to hear what was happening in the neighboring rooms, which may be disruptive for light sleepers. Overall, a decent place to stay with some room for improvement.

Very good location, just 15 minutes walk from fisherman’s wharf. Hotel offers free parking and free WiFi which is bonus. Room was spacious, very clean, beds extremely comfy. We stayed extra night in this hotel.

Nice large clean room with a sea view on the top floor of the annex building across the road from the main hotel. Room servicing was great at keeping the room clean and kept up a supply of fresh towels. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of car parking with space to maneuver. Location within walking distance of downtown Monterey, about 15-20 minutes walk to Fisherman's Wharf.

Only having a Kuerig to boil water - a kettle would have been nice.

This is a hidden gem in Monterey!! Great location. Walking distance to downtown, Wharf, beaches, restaurants(are everywhere), and easy trail access to Cannery Row, but not so close that you hear the noises! Very quiet stay. We were in 223 (double pane windows) for 11 nights and only 1 night were our neighbors annoying, ie making noise til midnight. There are understandable noises for awhile after someone moves in, but everyone else was quiet by 10 PM. Great sleep in great beds. KC is an amazing host! Very friendly and accommodating. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, stocked, and full amenities. ALWAYS hot water :) A/C and heater worked wonderfully. Only 10-15 minutes needed to reach comfort levels. Can't beat this for the price. We will always recommend to friends and stay again and again and again!! Thanx KC ;)

Staff was friendly. Check in was fast. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The main office was also clean and well maintained, same with the parking lot so just how they do things. Parking lot is small and was full but plenty of parking on the street— preferred it as it was safer from door dings. Location was quiet, felt safe but also very close to restaurants and downtown, walkable. Great cafe down the street for good coffee and food with friendly staff, Wild Plum.

Nothing we didn't like.

It was clean and comfortable. Location was really good. There was a free parking. Overall it's a nice place to stay.

We arrived at 3:30pm. Rooms should be ready at 3pm, but were not. Instead of apologizing for inconvenience staff just informed us that room is not gonna be ready at least another 30min. We checked-in and left belongings in one of the rooms. When we returned we were not just given keys for another room - we were asked for credit card information again, we were told that we did not have 1 reservation but 2( I made one reservation in booking.com) and were again asked for deposit. It felt that they don't care about being late and wasting people's time afterwards.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely polite and helpful when I lost my room card when I requested a new one after losing the first one. Location is great as always, not too far from any stores, the Wharf, and Cannery.

I have never had an issue with this property or any of the staff. I always recommend this property for someone traveling on a budget without sacrificing comfort.

Room size.

The hotel mentioned that it has a fireplace. When we got there's a fireplace that didn't work at!! Instead, they have an air conditioner with heating. The price for false advertising should be less.

Room comfortable and very clean. Fast check-in. Hotel located within walking distance from wharf and restaurants. Would be happy to stay here again.

Door latch didn't work properly and shut us out once, and room access card stopped working once. Both issues fixed very fast by friendly reception staff.

The location is convenient, easy walking downtown and to the wharf, and a nice walking trail up the hill to the big shopping mall. We stayed in the king suite, which is nicely roomy with a comfortable seating area. The mattress was also comfortable. Even though the rooms face Munras Avenue, it is quiet.

Sadly they removed the little breakfast room, but there is a little coffee maker in the room and coffee and juice available in the lobby
