We had a wonderful stay at this charming 3-story hotel in Monterey! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to downtown and Fisherman’s Wharf, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and even a gas station nearby for convenience. Our room was both spacious and cozy, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. We especially appreciated the quiet—despite being near the road, we never heard any traffic noise (perhaps thanks to being on the third floor..?). The staff were lovely—warm, helpful, and full of great local tips. Parking was easy, with options both outside and in the underground garage. Free coffee by the reception was a nice touch in the mornings. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we had booked a few more nights. Highly recommended!

Location is good. Relatively short walk into the old town of Monterey. Room is a typical US Motel room. Clean, functional and had all facilities you would expect. Free on-site car parking is helpful. No breakfast available but plenty of option close by. Free Tea/Coffee available from the office 24 hours a day.

It looks a little careworn & shabby in some places. Needs a little bit of TLC. it is also at over $250 per night (we stayed 3 nights) a little on the high side for what you get, but any hotel within the town of Monterey is expensive!

Staff were super helpful on arrival. Room was clean and spacious. Short 15 minute walk to front.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable with the ac. The pool was fun to use and the hotel was conveniently placed close to downtown Monterey, fisherman’s wharf, and access to the free trolley to get to the aquarium and cannery row. Everything was easily walkable which is great after a hearty meal!

Parking was pretty tight, but easy as long as you’re careful. We got placed on the third floor, which is fine as long as you can climb the stairs, but the walkway was a bit concerning with it being a little slanted.

I was welcomed by the friendly staff right from the start. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect, everything is walking distance, the beach, Fishermans Wharf, restaurants galore. There is a bus stop right on the side of the hotel which is very convenient and easy ride into Carmel, and airport. I didn’t have a car so this option was great for me and inexpensive. Also close by I was able to rent a bike for a couple days and ride along coast to 17mile dr. That was one of the highlights of my trip!

The room was comfortable and met our needs for our two night stay. The location is excellent for walking to the Wharf and Cannery Row, which makes the free parking a real perk.

The only real downside was the noise from the street from our corner room. We were woken up a few times from cars revving down the street, which can't be helped by the hotel. Maybe just request a room that's not on the corner.

The location is within walking distance to restaurants and other establishments. About 7 mins. walk to their main downtown. The town has a free trolley that you can go around Monterey. Make sure you are in the right trolley stop. The parking space is limited on the main floor but they have an underground parking with plenty of space. Room is nice and clean but the hotel itself is located on the main roads so bring earplugs or NyQuil because it tends to be noisy even at night. Easy check in and check out and the office is staffed 24 hours and also a free coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

I had a pleasant and cozy stay at the hotel. The staff was wonderful and provided excellent service. The bed was very comfortable, and the room size was just right. One small issue was the heating system in the room—it wasn't clear how to operate it. However, overall, the stay was great, and I really enjoyed it. It’s fantastic that you can get drinks at the reception 24/7, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location! It's close to shops & restaurants and everything was within walking distance. I left my car at the hotel and took the free trolly to fisherman wharf and cannery row. This is definitely going to be my spot when visiting monterey... 😃

Just a little hick up with the AC not working properly, but it didn't ruin the trip...😃
