We spent two nights here with my husband and were very pleased! The room was spacious and bright, everything was clean and tidy, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. The only thing we missed was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were very small, considering there were two adults. We also would have liked a simple kettle (there was only a coffee machine in the room) and a hairdryer, but these were minor details. Great location, and we were especially happy with the large parking area, which is quite rare for a place like this!

I usually sleep very well at Munras, which is significant since I am such a light sleeper! But this time I was in a room facing Munras Ave, and the street noise was significant. For other light sleepers, I recommend asking for a room facing away from Munras Ave! Those are very quiet

Clean and very spacious. Big bathroom, separate sink from toilet and shower. Big shower with strong water pressure. The shower was also heated, so it's great to step out of the shower with some warm air. Booked a King Room with Fireplace. I didn't have to use the fireplace but it's a nice addition. Bed was comfortable but wish pillows were better. Plenty of lights, I was amazed. Some more expensive hotels don't have that many lights. Refrigerator, microwave and a keurig w/ coffee pods are great. Big TV with plenty of shows to watch. Great location and near downtown. Close to the mall and plenty of restaurants. Quiet all throughout my 5-night stay. Very safe location. Plenty of parking space and FREE! Free breakfast (pastries, fruits, and coffee) is appreciated, not all similar hotels offer anything for breakfast.

Toilet pressure can be stronger. Pillows can be better. They lose shape and go flat. WiFi was strong my first 3 nights, but the last couple nights it started slowing down. I noticed more cars = more people checked in, so maybe more people using the wifi. Not sure.

The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Traveled with my mom who's disabled. Stayed in room #10 with walk in shower and a fireplace. Room was only steps away from the handicap parking which made it extremely convenient for her. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast option wasn't great, could use improvement

This place is great value for money! It's well located quite close to downtown Monterey without being right in the middle of it all, which was a positive for me. Despite being located on a busy street, I had absolutely no trouble falling asleep at night as things were very quiet (and I am an extremely light sleeper).

The location was great and room was clean and beautiful. Staff was able to accomodate my request for rose pedals on the bed for no extra cost - this was much appreciated!

The bed mattress was incredibly soft and squishy, which made it hard to sleep in and my partner and I both didn't get a good sleep because of it. Also the Deluxe King room was beautiful, but MUCH smaller than the pictures led us to believe it would be. Lastly parking was available but the covered spots were very tight - we couldn't fully open the doors once parked, so we had to unload / load while out of the spot.

Great parking spaces! Staff at the office is incredibly nice. The area itself is very quiet and conveniently close to the wharf and cannery row. The heating system is amazing, most especially in the bathroom!

The walls are pretty thin. Could hear cleaning and TV playing, as well as muffled conversations.

Property was clean and functional with a comfortable big bed. We only stayed one night as a stopover before heading back to LA but it had everything we needed.

We had a minivan which was quite long so needed to park carefully. If we’d stayed longer might have been an issue.

Managers Kristy and Jason are exceptional at facilities management. I got a lovely quiet super spacious room with a fireplace for my 2 week stay. Bed and bedding was very high quality ensuring a good nights rest. Due to major storms rolling in they did all they could to communicate the situation with me and even gave me their own beautiful scented candle when the power went out. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it's clear they love their jobs and really care about their guests. Keurig coffee machine was a bonus.

Room was ready, close to parking and clean. My wife loved the fireplace . Location was fairly close to anything we needed. If we didn't walk, nothing was more than a short drive (5 min).

The breakfast was pretty lame. We expected a bit breakfast, but ended up with packaged oatmeal, cereal and prepackaged pastries.
