Simple, clean, remodeled motel room with all the little amenities you would like. I believe this is family owned and operated. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you need anything or run out of anything during your stay (like coffee pods!) just ask them. Parking gets tight on busy days - one car per room. We didn't have a spot one night and the staff loved their personal car for us to have a place. Location was central to Carmel and Monteray.

Overall, great stay. Rooms are a little small - exactly as shown in the photos. No surprises!

The room and grounds were very clean. The staff were very responsive when we asked for new towels and toilet paper.

The parking lot is not very big, and it is cramped. It was easy to park one’s car but difficult to leave the parking space. Also, both driveways are only one lane wide but each was marked for both entry and exit! The visibility to and from the street was blocked by some walls, so I was worried about a possible head-on collision. Also, we typically returned very late at night. Thank goodness there was always exactly one open space remaining for us. Otherwise, I’m not sure where we could have parked. As for the room, the heater was very loud, and each time it cycled on, it blew cold air before eventually warming up and blowing warm air. This might have been okay except that it blew the cold December night air right onto us as we were sleeping in bed.

Over all quite good. Cute outside. Nicely remodeled bathroom. Location was terrific. Exceptional staff. Professional and very helpful. Perfect location clise to the bay near a cute part of town, not far from the highway to visit the area / region.

Bathroom recently remodeled but needs towel racks. The heater could use an directional vent. When heater comes on, it blows cold air directly on the one nearest. Parking is cramped, but several spots are better than others

Beautifully kept premises with plants and hedges which really add to the charm of this place. The rooms far exceeded my expectations for the price. Check in was prompt and helpful. Large luxury shopping mall across the road. Short 5 mins to Monterey whale watching. Check out equally handy as we left early and left key card at reception was all.

Shame no breakfast but I know alot of places in America don’t offer this , but even some tea and biscuits would be nice. But for the price can’t complain.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The parking was ample and the location was great for all of my needs. The bed was fine and there was plenty of room for one person in the queen size rooms.

The bed was more of a full than a queen size bed. The staff could do a better job of communicating with one another as there were some discrepancies in their messaging.

The room was very clean and well kept. The grounds were well kept, and we really enjoyed all the flowers and landscaping. Parking was free, but slightly cramped, and the staff was not exceptionally friendly, but ok.

The front desk person was not very outgoing or friendly, but rather short and curt, but that didn't really matter.

Room was comfortable and facility well kept and clean. Good location on the main drag between mall and waterfront. This was also slow season so there were fewer people and better prices.

Tight parking and beds are long doubles (not queens) so that can be limiting. But the room sizes wouldn't accommodate queens so that's dilemma.

Very nice, calm atmosphere (it kind of gave me the feeling of being in a small mountain village when I arrived there). The room and bathroom were clean and they had everything we needed. Location was good as well - safe and convenient; everything is very accessible by car. I did not find it too loud for sleeping considering it was close to the road - had no issues with that at all.

The customer service was ok, but it could be a bit better (staff could be a bit more friendly/hospitable). The pressure of the shower in the bathroom could be stronger too, but it was managable.

parking was too close and most people had to back out of parking lot . only two cups of coffee in room. no pool and no breakfast . no vending machines. water pressure in shower was low. room with two beds was tight to move around especially with multiple suit cases. room with just one bed was okay .

The location was wonderful. The rooms were very nice, and we appreciated having a fridge and microwave. It was beautifully maintained, with very nice rooms!

For my personal taste, I thought the bed was too hard. In the mornings, as we were waking up and getting ready, the TV signal kept going out for 5+ minutes at a time.
