Location was great. Hot tub was perfect after a day at the beach. Staff was friendly and pleasant even while training their staff member. New staff member was included in the answering of my questions which is highly looked upon in a good way.

Not really complaining cuz it’s a building and building creak but the floor creaking irked my little stimulation issue. But NOT a complaint. Also would have loved the buildings doors to be on back end of building I know why it’s facing in but the view of the little piece of ocean I could see out of the bathroom window at least was my favorite part.

The room was a good size and clean. Liked that the sink was outside the bathroom and that there was two luggage racks and there were garbage cans in each room. The location is pretty central to the areas we visited.

More parking spaces. Since we returned late at night, we had to park outside the lot several times. Breakfast could have been better. There were no nuts or cut up fruit to put into yogart. Also, there was no honey for hot tea or peanut butter for toast. Good thing there were hardboiled eggs because the scrambled were always too salty. The bacon, sausage and tater tots were also way too salty.

The room was nicely big, the check-in super easy and the staff was friendly giving us a lot of information on what to do around Monterey. The location is very good to visit Big Sur while the Highway 1 is still closed, since it's just 1h away from the closure, and it's also close to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Good parking.

Room on the second floor without elevator, with 2 big bags wasn't easy, but still manageable, so not really a problem.

Esmeralda (on site manager) was amazing and helped make our stay exceptional in every way possible from here smile and helpfulness to her engagement and humor. Her customer service is top notch. The property, rooms and bedding are clean and in proper working order. Even the mattresses were comfortable, which is hard to find. Oh yes and their continental breakfast from 7-10am was supper good. She convinced us to make Monterey and this property one of our "go to" places from now on. You can tell how much she loves her job and this property. Thanks again !!!!

Hot breakfast was a very nice treat and convenient. Big refrigerator and microwave was very convenient. Enjoyed the 2 bdrm suite. Very clean rooms. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Would come back again. overall, our stay was very nice.

I wished check out was at 11:30am or 12 noon. Could not adjust the heat in room to steady 70 degrees. It was either 66 or 80 degrees. Needed thicker blankets.

Check-in was super fast and the front desk was able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. The room had updated flooring and finishes. The breakfast was wonderful (waffles, eggs, sausage, tater tots, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc). Staff was super friendly and kind. Plenty of parking even though the hotel seemed fairly full.

Room darkening curtains didn’t totally block out the exterior lighting at night (light comes through the bottom of the curtain). Shower head/pressure okay (but water was nice and hot!).

The breakfast was ok.I was unhappy that there were no English muffins after the first day of our visit. I was very happy when I discovered the microwave, so I could heat up my plate of food because everything was cold by the time I gathered all my selections up.

The hard butter patties are a pain because they won't melt enough to spread by the time a person gets to their table.

Location was centralized. Breakfast was really good for a family. Staff friendly. Rooms clean.

We were in a nonsmoking room with our children, but the trashcan with a cigarette tray ontop was right infront of our room. People were smoking and talking infront of our door past 10pm. Going to the second parking lot is steep hill, should probably warn people with lower cars.

the breakfast area was clean and there were lots of choices for a quick breakfast- the room was clean--- bed comfy and plenty of space to set out our stuff- nice closet like that the vanity and bathroom are separate-

When the heater is on its is super loud- had to turn it off the sleep- which made for a super chilly wake-up- did not like the automatic light coming on in the bathroom- if you like the night light option make it dimmer-

The breakfast was great! There were different options on different days. It was clean and well stocked. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The parking can get pretty full in the evening and we had a bigger truck so it did get a little tricky with parking on some nights but nothing to bad. Other than that it was great!
