⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Super 8 Motel in Monterey was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, particularly Mike, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy retreat after a day of exploring Monterey's beautiful surroundings. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities truly exceeded our expectations, making us feel right at home. What truly set this Super 8 Motel apart was the exceptional customer service we received, especially from Mike. His willingness to go the extra mile became evident when we realized we had left our laptop behind. Mike stepped in promptly, assisting us in arranging for its safe return via UPS. His efficiency and genuine concern for our belongings left a lasting impression and elevated our overall satisfaction. The convenience of the motel's location, coupled with the outstanding service we received, makes it an easy decision for us to return on our next visit to Monterey. It was clean and inviting. It felt safe. Safety is very important to me as a female when I travel alone. Cleanliness is #1 as I work in healthcare and infection control is #1. This felt very clean and safe.

I think the heater was malfunctioning/ I booked last minute and arrived after midnight. I came to a room that was in the late 50s. It felt so cold! I turned the heat on high but the highest it got was 63. This is truly not acceptable!

Nice quick place to lay our heads for the night as we travel through California’s Big Sur. As a family of travelers, with two pre-teens that have been traveling since birth, our number one priority is always safe locations with decent prices. Ultimately…. Safety for our family. The location gave me no worries, was easy to get too, and close to what we needed in order to continue our trip down PCH 1 and Big Sur. Everyone encountered was friendly. Room looked to be newer renovation and rather nice and clean. Beds were comfy enough. Parking lot is right in front of rooms.

Everything was great.

Easy enough check in, they charge your card twice for the first night though - and then revert one payment once you check in. This was a bit confusing but easily explained. The property is very convenient if you are doing a road trip as it’s right off the high way. We slept well, it was clean and comfortable. Great location between Monterey and Carmel, and super affordable.

Not much - the bathroom maybe could do with being updated but it was very clean.

Sounds really petty, only 1 coffee pack ( milk) only realised in the morning, and reception was closed…… was told would drop some when the reception opened… unfortunately we had an early start and left without morning coffee fix. Not a negative on the hotel or stay, just a personal thing, I like my coffee fix in the morning!

Modern and clean. There was an area to get ready outside the bathroom with a mirror. Also, 2 trash cans. Nice Keurig with decent coffee pods. Nice TV. Property is nice.

Beds/pillows weren’t comfortable for me. Woke up with sore neck. No freezer in fridge. Soap & shampoo dispensers were cheap and felt like they were going to break.

Great price for a motel centrally located in a normally expensive area. Very comfy bed and pillow and sheets. Hot shower, tv and a Keurig, all I needed for 2 nights and a day to explore!

I didn’t hear other guests until a father was tickle torturing his screaming children next door. But I let it go. All in good fun!

Price was good. Room was clean. Close drive to everything. We liked the small window in the bathroom. It's really nice to keep it open all the time.

Our room had Clorox smell when we arrived. We kept window opened for a few hours to get fresh air and to ventilate room. Smell gone after that. A/C is set up for certain degrees so if you'd like get it coller, it won't let you. A/C is loud .

Extremely clean and cheap. The only issue I encountered was bed was a bit harder than I like, but for the price I really cannot complain. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Great location to stay before driving South to see Big Sur. Friendly, helpful staff, Delmonte Mall across the street with lots of food outlets & shops; great facilities in the room - hairdryer, coffee machine, microwave, fridge. Very comfortable beds. 😊
