The room was exactly as pictured. Clean, recently renovated (I stayed at this property back in a day when it was Comfort Inn). Location is great. Bed (mattress) and pillows could be of better quality.

1. Furniture is outdated. Chest with drawers is taking up all the space in a room. The matte door to the bathroom offers no privacy. Pillows are small and lumpy and of terrible quality. And they charge 10 dollars a day for the parking spot if you didn't book directly with them. What?!? I have never heard of that! It's a motel with plenty of parking spots! Absolutely shameful practice to make extra money.

Very easy to get to and a short drive to downtown Monterey, which is a delightful place to stroll for breakfast or a drink. The staff were friendly. The room was adequate and enough space for a pack-n-play for our infant to sleep.

It has gotten progressively more expensive to stay anywhere in Monterey, but relative to the facilities (essentially a motor inn/motel) value wise it was rather expensive.

The staff is great. The location is very good too. The facilities are very clean. The rooms are very comfortable.

The parking is not included and you will have to pay 10 USD per night. That wasn't clear in the time of making the reservation. Taking those 10 USD into consideration, there might be other options that are better.

Lovely pool and bbq areas. Absolutely beautiful garden beds. Walkable to town. On-site parking. Large room.

Very dirty floor in room. Not visibly dirty but our socks were black when walking around in room. It would trail into the bathroom and turn the floor black if it was wet. Room leak on the last day from shower above. Surprised by on site parking charge. I guess it was in the fine details when I booked, which I missed. Seemed strange to be changed parking fees when they had a private lots in this strip motel.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, parking lot was easily accessible, pool area was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and the landscaping around the facility were clean and nice looking. It was also nice and quiet at night, no disturbances.

The shower curtain didn't keep the shower water from getting all over the bathroom floor even with a towel down. It either needed to be longer or they need some sort of lip at the edge of the shower to keep the water in. The coffee pot in the room needed to be clean a little better and descaled. I didn't utilize the coffee because of this.

The room was absolutely beautiful—clean and super comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality shampoo and soap, which isn’t something you always get. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations, with an incredible value for the price and great facilities. The staff was so kind and made check-in easy, even though we arrived later than planned. Plus, the included parking was a big bonus. Such a lovely place—I’d definitely stay here again!

having to pay for parking, cleaning woman came into our room as we were moving our things out so did not notice a bag behind the door she had open. Now have to pay to have the quite heavy bag of Christmas gifts shipped to us which will likely cost more than the gifts. Cleaning staff should not enter a room until people are finished completely moving out of it.

Very helpful and friendly staff (exceptionally good). for a motel style hotel it's surely one of the better ones. things were working, and well maintained. there was a fridge, micro wave, coffee and tea, a good bed. we felt well served and recommend the place for Monterey.

the heating is loud, like every where in US hotels. the USA know little about efficiency heating, let alone insolation. but that is not specific to this hotel.

everything was modern and super close distance to a shopping center as well as the aquarium. they had a mini fridge, microwave and small coffee station which was super convenient for leftovers or a longer stay. staff was super nice and we’ll most likely stay here if we plan a trip to Monterey again :)

i could’ve used 2 pillows because as comfy as they are they do sink you down lol, but definitely comfy over all and spacious

I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed there. Always a good stay. Location is great. The parking lot is filled with plants and lovely trees near the rooms, just gorgeous right now.

Oh my, the room is so comfortable but the pillows were giant, and for me, so uncomfortable. I am sure if I asked for a different one, it would have gotten one.
