This hotel fit the bill perfectly for our stay. Within easy walking distance from the airport, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was no aircraft noise at all in our rooms. It isn't fancy by any means, but the bed was comfortable with crisp clean sheets and no end to the hot water in the shower. The staff were kind enough to store our luggage for us as we arrived very early in the morning. All our interactions with staff were very positive throughout our stay. There is a 24hr service station and MacDonalds just around the corner if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again - a great budget option for someone just looking for a good bed with no fancy frills.

Our rooms were on the ground floor and I was surprised that the windows weren't reflective, which meant if I opened my blind to let natural light in, anyone in the carpark would be looking right in at me.

The room was new and light and the bed comfy. Best of all it had a lightweight blanket as well as the far- too- warm duvet, so I didn't boil all night.

I walked from the T4 as expected but the signs stopped at the Holiday Inn which wasn't helpful I carried my bags in a trolley (they were 2 backpacks), but there was no trolley storage at the hotel. I was told to leave it outside hidden in the bush but it had gone by morning. It was not too far to carry my bags to the Maacas to find a trolley, but very frustrating and unexpected that an airport hotel did not have this facility.

I liked the location, although that wasn't brilliant. The room itself is basic, but clean enough and served its purpose. The staff members were extremely helpful, and I thank them for their attention. That is a big plus!

There was not enough signage to direct customers to the correct location. I asked one airport worker and he sent me in the opposite direction, thinking I meant the Ibis Styles. Luckily my GPS indicated the mistake and I asked someone else, who helped me. I found that walking there was quite confusing and unpleasant. Another problem that I had was that the shower module is raised quite high off the floor, so when I stepped out the first time, I almost fell. I resolved this by rolling up a blanket and using that as a step. I realise that rents for the area may be expensive for the owners, but do feel that the cost of the room was too expensive.

Motel within walking distance to the airport and close to a fast food chain. Rooms were small but clean and tidy, bathroom was tiny but served its purpose. I would stay here again due to the price and convenience to the airport. Breakfast was good.

There are two Ibis hotels at the airport, make sure you go to the correct one nothing more embarrassing going to the more expensive one only to find you are in the cheaper one. Otherwise, I would stay here again due to the price and convenience to the airport. Breakfast was good.

I wanted some no-frills airport transit accommodation after a midnite arrival from overseas. Ibis Budget delivered exactly what l needed at a price comparable to getting to and from the city if staying at a friend's place but without the cost, hassle and time of bus/taxi/transport. It exceeded my expectations with a few little touches like a kettle with tea, coffee and milk provided and actual drinking glasses rather than paper cups. Compact shower and toilet worked fine with great water pressure and generously sized towels. Clean comfy bed with numerous quality pillows and plenty of space in the room for luggage. Also, snack foods and drinks available in the lobby. A quick no-hassles check-in to my prepaid room and good soundproofing. Multiple power-points available for charging accessories. Highly recommended and l will be using this hotel again if l need overnight transit accommodation in Melbourne.

If being excessively picky, the location is a ten minute walk with a bit of navigation required across a couple of busy intersections. But, the route is clearly posted with regular direction signs along the way and easily accessible footpaths.

Good room comfortable bed

The problem was getting from the airport to the hotel. The signed directions were for nnly 'Ibis' and no recognising that there are two Ibis hotels in the area. I followed the signage past terminal four and got lost but eventually got to the Ibis but not the Ibis budget. Sorted by good staff at both premises and I eventually go to the correct facility, I suggest that you have a look at how to ensure getting to the correct hotel with appropriate signage

The room was cozy enough for one night stay. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfy.

I didn't like the fact that a taxi driver or Uber would not take me to the location from the airport as it would only take them five minutes. so I had to walk 11 minutes and it was a little bit scary going under the tunnel and around the back of the service station. the lighting wasn't very good it was quite dark it was 10:30 at night little spooky!

It was clean room was a good size and close to where I needed to be. The staff were friendly and helpful

The stairs. I don’t know why they put stairs when they know people have bags. If the don’t want the expense of maintaining a lift put a ramp in. The building wasn’t that old. The only other problem which they can’t fix is the smell of jet fuel being so close to the airport they can’t stop.

There's no lift and I had to carry my suitcases up a flight of stairs after a long flight from overseas (I'm 74). No offer of assistance from the young man at Reception. The place needs repainting throughout (there were painters there just starting, I think, so that's good). I know it's within walking distance to the airport which is great, but I thought $189 for one night was a bit much, should have been more like $100

The hotel is super close and very walkable even with a big suitcase. Check in was a breeze and the desk clerk carried my suitcase up the stairs. The room was spotless and the sheets were crisp. There were enough clean towels and an extra blanket. It was perfect for what i needed which was a bed for the night. The free breakfast was better than expected and check out was simple.

Walking there though close is quite confusing you have to go around and under the overpass. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your big bag up because there won't always be a desk clerk that can help.
