Nice staff, good breakfast buffett, spacious room, clean

The window of the room gave onto a rock wall just 20 cms away. No daylight in the room.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Went out of their way at times. Decent breakfast. Reception is just off the street which is a big deal in any hotel in Cinque Terre. Hotel has Dedicated parking which is a bit of a premium in the area.

Lack of an elevator to go to upper floors is certainly one but given the way 99% of all buildings are built in this area, I reckon it is impossible. Bear in mind- bags have to be carried up the stair. Pack light.

The terrase was amazing, a big plus! Could eat breakfast there with an amazing view of the town and the sea

Our room had windows but not to the outside, so we had 0 light in the room and we couldnt air it properly since there was no exit to fresh air, but to the back of the building (its hard to explain), but at the same time it might have been the cheaper rooms only

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable except for the bathroom which was small, but it was not an impediment as the hotel is very well located in Riomagiore and we had a great view of the sea... We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning and we liked the convenient location and how close it was to the main attractions in the area such as: Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso and last but not least Portofino. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Villa Argentina, if you stay here ask for a room with a sea view, we stayed in room 8.

Bathroom which was small, but it was not an impediment...

We chose rooms with a terrace and sea view at the hotel, and I highly recommend it - the sunsets were unforgettable. Although the rooms and bathrooms are smaller (which is typical for this area), they were perfectly fine for a night’s sleep. They were clean and tidy. Breakfast was tasty, and the coffee was good, though the selection and variety were somewhat limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, taking care of everything we needed. I also recommend reserving a parking space.

However, the breakfast did not meet our expectations in terms of variety and quantity. Additionally, the walls between the rooms are quite thin, so you can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms.

Double room with sea view and balcony is a small but adequate size for a few nights stay and balcony has amazing views. Beds are comfy, aircon works well and everything was clean, bright and in good order. There is plenty of room to hang clothes, the bathroom is tiny but modern and fine. The triple room has a double and bunk beds and is a good size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bathroom inthis room is a good size too. If you have a car then pre-book a space as you park right outside. Breakfast was lovely, self service in a lovely bright room, or you can take a breakfast tray and sit outside on the upstairs terrace in the sun with the views. A good choice.

Great breakfast and amazing coffee. Great view up at the top and really easy to get to with no stairs as you just take the lifts up from the station (they’re open until 1am). Incredibly comfy bed and lovely staff. Really good location and great hotel for the area.

There was a constant stale smell in the bathroom and we had no hot water one evening to shower. One thing is on your first trip up to the hotel you have to pay for the lifts until you get the QR code to get the free lifts. Maybe it could be sent in advance to save €4 each and lots of stairs!

The location was wonderful - it has a great view of the city and it's a nice little work-out to get to. We used it as a base and were able to easily get to and see all five Cinque Terre cities over 2.5 days. Breakfast was also wonderful - a great selection and fresh products. The room was simple, but clean and comfy - perfect for a relaxing stay.

There wasn't anything I found to be unsatisfactory.

Location, presentation, lovely staff, clean

A word of warning! The bed was metal framed and I walked into it. There wasn't a lot of space between the bed and the cupboards. We had to put towels over both ends to prevent a further accident. My leg bled and has now gone septic, so using anti septic cream and hopefully will be okay. Otherwise nothing negative.

The predisposition of the staff, very kind and assertive. They even received a package for me and called me when it arrived. They guide you to the room and explain everything in detail.

The walls let any sound pass through. That's ANY sound, so it's not pleasant to hear your neighbour guest sleeping, singing, etc. Also, check-out starts at 08:00, which is kind of late.
