Family room shared with friends in beautiful Hamble. Breakfast was not included but that wasn't a problem considering that there are at least 3 very good options just outside for it. Good value for money. Very clean, comfy beds, nice staff and nice club house that hosts the rooms. Overall, a very nice experience and Hable is such a nice place!

The floor in the old charming houce was not very straight and that wasn't compensated on one of the beds so it leaned a fair bit. Something to be sorted 7 improved i hope.

The location was excellent as we were right on the river front.

The evening that we stayed it was really noisy as there was a function on, live band and disco. We were only told of this when we checked in. In the morning when checking out, we were told that the hotel hold functions nearly every fortnight. I think that the hotel should let you know when you are booking when the functions are on. It was very noisy and we couldn't sleep until early morning when the function finished.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room and fantastic views over the river

Being a members club there are limits to when the restaurant is open and there’s no breakfast. That said if you choose your times the in-house restaurant is very good. This wouldn’t stop us returning it’s just something to be aware of. There’s a great cafe, Jennies, a few minutes walk away for breakfast and the Bugle pub almost opposite is also good.

This stay was a trip down Memory Lane as we were members of the RSYC as children in the 70s - 80s. The club had undergone a massive change internally but the facade and prominent position in the Village brought tears to the eyes! We had a clean, cosy room and loved the nautical decor. We had dinner and breakfast at the club and it was delicious with friendly staff who showed genuine interest in our reminiscence. Highly recommended

We might be biased but there was nothing we didn’t like

Location is stunning. The staff are Uber friendly. It’s clean & airy.

2 little things for future travellers here. If you are assigned room 8, it’s not really suitable for tall people, parts of the roof are low, the door is very small, yet quirky. I’d suggest if you have a bad back or upper body limitation, to get another room. We also booked breakfast & were informed months ago that that option was no longer possible. We were offered with a £12.50 refund per person or a £10 voucher. Take the money! The voucher will not even get you a big breakfast at jennys.

Staff I spoke to were just lovely. Room was clean comfortable and a good size. Position is just fabulous. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and very good value for money

I understand why you don’t do breakfast esp out of season but would have been nice. Also the ceilings could do with some sound insulation as the person staying in the room above room 2 got up about 6 times in the night and sounded like they were wearing clogs due to the noise

I absolutely love staying here. The view is amazing and having a drink in the evening looking over the water is just lovely.

I don’t like that they have stopped breakfast and yet the prices remain the same. We used to stay here once a month but have been going elsewhere since breakfast stopped. This time we really needed to be in this location so we came back but £160 a night and no breakfast is just so expensive. It’s a shame because I love staying here but it will always be a last resort now .

The property is surrounded by so many pubs! The Bugle Pub is literally 40m from the entrance to our room! No taxi needed that's for sure! King and Queen's Pub must the best food I've ever had - very close to the Yacht Club. The breakfast is GREAT! Ordered from a menu - I have NEVER received so much salmon with any Eggs Royal (see attached photo), and I eat it ALOT. The fantastic view of the harbour cannot be explained in words - absolutely GORGEOUS view of all the boats in the Harbour. The bar is great and the staff super helpful. We loved Hamble-le-Rice and will definitely be back...

Nothing.

Every member of staff was excellent with a no such thing as cant attitude. Thank you to you all. :-)

We paid for breakfast but were told that they no longer provide this on site. So we were given 2 x £10 vouchers to and told to go to a little cafe up the road. This was ok as the weather was wonderful however, we still had to pay a further £14 on top of the vouchers to cover the cost of 2 standard breakfasts, 2 orange juices and 2 teas….. On top of the £180 we paid for our room.

Location was lovely. Fantastic view. Close to shops, bars, restaurants. Nice quiet location. Plenty of parking. It was a lovely place to stay night before our cruise.

Sadly couldn't use the fan as the blades were quite dusty. When asked by the female housekeeper if we enjoyed the stay, we said (our room was lovely, even though it sloped but the blades on the fan needed a wipe over.) positive criticism but her face wasn't impressed.
