Super nice, friendly, and above-and-beyond accommodating. I had arrived early to Hamble after a red-eye flight from across the Pond to Heathrow and without prompting, they offered to change out the room I had reserved first so I could have it way before check in time. Being new to Hamble, Theresa oriented me about town and made me feel very comfortable. The staff took good care of me both in person and by email (because I often came "home" late). The room was clean, recently updated, and had everything I needed. The club (and the room!) was very peaceful with a beautiful view of River Hamble.

The Yacht club is a 2 min walk to the centre of Hambel, with all the restaurants and shops. The rooms are modern and very clean. The next day, I had to go to Mercury Marina to pick up my boat, which was a 15 min walk. The bar was very lively and it has also a large terasse with view on all the boats. The bar in Riverside House is very friendly and does some quite nice cocktails! :)

It can take a while to order a taxi to go back to Southampton

This was our 3rd stay at Riverside, but it happened to coincide with the Euros final, so nothing in Hamble was normal, which I guess was the same across England. But the twin room was just the same as before, clean and spacious (and fortunately included a fan). Easy to check in and check out, all good :)

Bar prices - virtually £10 for a small bottle of prosecco seems excessive. I've had the same in other bars For around £7-£8, but I suppose that's the price for non-members. Nevertheless, it's so good to have a bar facility and a lovely riverside garden to sit in.

A simple, comfortable stay in a perfect location. The bed was really comfortable and the room and en suite were clean and cosy. Check-in was simple, and the shared communal areas with the yacht club were lovely spaces. Our room had a beautiful riverside view, and the hotel was only a very short walk from cafes, pubs and charming walks.

There was no breakfast on offer, but we didn't mind, as we were easily able to saunter up the cobbled lane to a cafe.

Easy access to carpark and front door with pin code provided by email the day before. No breakfast provided but not a problem - try Jenny's a short walk away for great choice and friendly service. And whilst there is a bar on site with outside seating overlooking the marina, there are also three pubs very close by. Very comfortable beds, tea tray, quiet room

Plenty of spaces to park on site & security. Very peaceful and pleasant location. Good pre-arrival communications (via email). Information folder in bedroom very useful. Tea & Coffee in bedroom together with TV. Had a very restful night's sleep. Staff very polite & helpful. Private members club able to offer rooms to non-members.

I didn't dislike anything. Stay exceeded expectations & I am most grateful to members offering such services to non-members.

The Hotel was simply superb. Clean functional and central to Hamble. We wrote a complimentary letter to all the staff prior to our leaving thanking them for everything. If any one has reservations about booking " lose them" and book. The old village, cobbled street. 4 local pubs.. loads of walks. We will def be back.. soon. Thank you all.

The venue is spotlessly clean, in a quiet picturesque area. Good parking and very close to local eateries. There is also a bar in the evenings run by friendly attentive staff. The whole place has an atmosphere of friendliness. The office staff are also outstanding. Very friendly and helpful.

Room was convenient, quiet and well furnished. We managed to get a car park space although this was busy due to bank holiday. Beds were comfy.

We had a view of car park and not the river which was a shame. Would have been lovely to eat breakfast at the morning on the outside tables at the club.

The location, a lovely village good range of restaurants and pubs even live music. Lewis in the bar was very friendly, if we came to the area again we would stay again,

The front door was very heavy and banged every time anyone came and went which was disturbing we were in room 4
