The hotel was very good and the position perfectly we had a really good view from our bedroom window of the Christmas market and townhall. I am from sheffield it's s second home for me so can say the position of the hotel was perfect. I did feel the room.could do with a bit of tlc as the lamp shade was cracked and a couple of tiles in the bathroom where broken. Also there was blood on the wall.by the wardrobes. But all in all we were pleased with the room .as it is 30 years since my daughter had visited sheffield. The girl on reception was very helpful and polite but we did find the young man rather abrupt. After all this we will.return to the hotel possibly later in the year.

Excellent communication leading up to our stay by advising about car parking, considering our requests for arrival times etc. Friendly staff who were welcoming and accommodating on our requests. Although our rooms weren't ready on arrival we were able to leave our suitcases with reception which enabled us to explore the surrounding area. Breakfast was included and provided a nice variety of breakfast choices to choose from. The location is central to Sheffield city centre and literally right next door to the Crucible and Lyceum theatres. Loved the bar/breakfast/restaurant area offering comfortable seating which is light and airy. Our room was spacious, quiet and well laid out, decorated in neutral colours. Lighting was subtle and not glaringly over bright. Bathroom had a separate shower which is so much easier than getting in and out of a shower over a bath. Loved the hand/shower soaps.
I'm being really picky now because there was not too much to dislike. Limited choice on teas/coffees at the bar, i.e. no specialty teas or coffees. Pillows were a little uncomfortable for us.

The hotel is in a great location. We were going to the Lyceum to watch a show and had booked into Miller and Carter for dinner, so the hotel couldn't have been better placed for us. The receptionist who booked us in was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The communal areas are quite nice and the side of the building looks out into the Winter Gardens. We had booked two rooms which were opposite each other on the 4th floor. One room looked over the Winter Gardens and we could also see the Crucible and Lyceum. The other room looked over the Millenium Square - both really good views. The rooms were quite basic though, and quite tired looking in places. I didn't feel that the rooms matched up to communal areas.

Central hotel with great facilities. Staff are welcoming and nice view of winter gardens from breakfast.
They had run out of slippers that we had ordered in our privilege room and as we were using the spa was really slippy. We would have taken something if they had pre warned us. Some of the privileges were not there such as drinks in the fridge which was only water. The room didn’t have a nice view as we we expected unfortunately. You have to pay extra again for this I believe and it’s £10 each to use the Spa.Take the robes from your privilege room or pay again£5 for robes and slippers. (But no slippers available on our visit)

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location next to the winter gardens. our room faced the Christmas markets so was beautiful to look out on too. Hotel very clean and room was very spacious. 12pm checkout was great as saves the rushing about in a morning or having to wake up early. We paid £10 each to use the swimming pool and thermal suite which really made our stay - we woke up in the morning and went down to the spa which was just what we needed. I would recommend as you can use swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms, ice room and experience shower. Excellent facilities and would return. again .
mattress was slightly bouncy

Spacious room, excellent views, clean and quiet. USB sockets and great Yorkshire tea available. Free use of the spa facilities downstairs was a huge bonus!
I think there should be hand lotion and conditioner provided in the bathroom, just because it’s pretty standard and really useful, the shampoo was really nice. The pillows were a strange size - on the small side but full, maybe more standard pillows should be available. The spa facilities were great but could definitely have been cleaner, need some updating. But as mentioned excellent bonus for the room.

My second stay at this hotel. I like the very central location in the nicest part of Sheffield city, rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. I also liked the spa & pool; I understand charging an amount for it now as it would easily get filled to capacity otherwis. Staff are proffessional, and the gentlemen at reception was kind enough to check me in early.
It seems like a reason why the pool and spa are so busy (especially the Sunday evening when I visited) is because members who aren't guests in the hotel also use these facilities; hardly fair on hotel guests when it's a four star hotel and the pool & spa cost extra to use.

Arrived 2 hours early, our room wasnt ready so staff happily let us leave our bags. When we checked in we recived a drinks voucher as we was celebrating an occasion so that was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Toilet wouldnt flush and the key card wouldnt open the door but staff quickly let us in the room, other than this we had a nice stay and we had a large bed and the room was comfy and spacious. The Spa was nice and breakfast was lovely although no mushrooms or pancakes and cappuchino tasted watery other than that all good

From the start, communication was great. So helpful being told about the car parks nearby and thank you for the discount code! Great location, right in the centre. 3 minutes from the car park was a great help in the rain too. Room is massive, so clean and everything you need. Plus extra tea and milk when needed, thank you. Staff are absolutely amazing. Quick and easy check in and out and thank you so much for fitting us in for breakfast too! Much appreciated. Sorry I can’t remember names, but reception staff and the lady in the restaurant were so helpful and accommodating. Great stay, will definitely stay again. Sadly didn’t have time to use the Spa, next time!
Nothing!

Very good location for City centre. Q park C.P. feels safe and 2mins walk away. Rooms good size and bathroom well laid out. Breakfast was good value, especially if you take the £12 offer. Cater for vegan and gluten free diets.
Only two lifts. It appears one has not been working for some time. This was a real inconvenience. Staff have obviously been briefed to block any questions about its repair. Generally, the staff were excellent. However, some of the reception staff could be more welcoming and helpful.
