Fantastic hotel. Don't be put off by the actual location. Looking out of the window doesn't make a great view but inside, it's a world of its own. Elegant, classy hotel. The rooms are of very good size,comfy beds, good coffee station, bathroom is good size too and with big fluffy towels. The restaurant...omg, food is amazing. Nothing to complain everything to praise and celebrate. Good breakfast. All in all, excellent value for money. Bonus track for me was that it has the canal which is part of Trans Pennine trail on the doorstep, which made for a great morning run. Personally, I don't think Chesterfield is a destination but if you are visiting any of the nearby villages or going to Chatsworth,then stay here for the experience and by all means have dinner at their restaurant.

The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious and fully equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Over all we had a fantastic stay and would definitely be returning.

The breakfast times were confusing and so we completely missed the last mornings breakfast. We were told the times but maybe it would be a good idea to give a card with times written on them, so that people are fully aware. It's partly our fault for not listening properly but because of the changes of times it was hard to remember what we were told. Also the full English breakfast were hardly warm on the two occasions we tried it. If they were warmer then they would have been perfect but I didn't enjoy either and had to opt for continental breakfast after a few mouthfuls.

Attractively furnished, large room with a comfortable king-sized bed. Very well equipped with fridge, safe, iron, coffee machine etc. Excellent bathroom facilities for anyone with reduced mobility, with grab rails, flat access to the shower and a shower seat, all spotlessly clean. Also there was a low level sink. We stayed during a heatwave so the quiet air conditioning and complimentary bottled water were much appreciated. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We used the main restaurant on the first floor and the bar restaurant on the ground floor, both for evening meals; good service and excellent food at both venues. My husband had the lamb at the main restaurant and said it was exceptional. There were four large lifts to get between floors and a large, free carpark with plenty of disabled spaces. Casa Hotel is near main roads so easy to travel around the area and was very easy to find. You can't hear the traffic in the hotel. Very handy for Sheffield, where we were attending an event.

Phenomenal hotel. Great facilities, lovely and attentive staff, beautiful decor, super comfortable mattresses. Big bathroom, quiet air on. It is thoroughly wonderful and I would recommend anyone to stay here in a heartbeat. Our best stay in the UK in a long while!

Two minor gripes: Car park on Saturday afternoon is packed as football-goers in Chesterfield use it to leave their cars, so have patience if visiting on weekend. Pillows are not bad but are hotel standard semi-hard synthetic filled variety. We always carry our own dawn-filled pillows whenever we can for that reason so we're unbothered by it. So for those bothered by pillow quality - take note of what's here.

We love the entrance with the vanilla smell, the ambiance of the reception, the bar, the restaurant. We love the hotel.

We have stayed a few times and our experience has been similar. the rooms get worn as expected in a busy hotel. They need regular TLC and not just cleaning. The extractor fan did not work in our first room but they moved us as it was smelt like a toilet. In the second room The decor was stained near the bin. The door laminate in the bathroom had come off. The carpet wanted a clean. The bedding was bobbly and not as usually crisp. The rooms need someone checking over them regularly or the turnaround team reporting better, and a maintenance person easily putting problems right. Then the rooms would be fresher and more worthy of a four star hotel. Just my opinion to keep the place perfect.

The staff were friendly and helpful as we were visiting to support our football team it was an Idea location also within walking distance of the town centre Lovely clean rooms super shower Breakfast was good with lots of options On the whole it's a really lovely hotel definitely four stars

Unfortunately as we're an older couple and not technically savvy we struggled with the television (but did get there after pressing lots of buttons) and we couldn't work out how to use the coffee machine but thankfully the kettle was there and tea and coffee Maybe there could be a set of instructions for us oldies 😀

This is undeniably a beautiful hotel and the cleanliness is of an extremely high standard. The staff are a key feature of the hotel and the service we experienced was first class. Another feather in its cap is the standard of food served in the restaurant, we enjoyed it very much, and the breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. I asked for porridge and it arrived with honey and fresh berries, absolutely delicious 😋

It was Easter weekend and the hotel was extremely busy; a lot of locals were enjoying a bottomless brunch🥂We had booked a table in the bar ourselves, but it was all very loud and ‘buzzing’- not really the right environment for us as a couple in our 60’s to have a relaxing weekend away. A shout out to the waitress who was excellent, she moved us tables and did her best to make us comfortable(even apologised for the colourful language going on around us! )

Ideally placed for a training day and good for shops and Chesterfield , the A61 and link to the M1. Parking was plentiful and beside the hotel. Reception were attentive and professional, and check in prompt . I was offered the choice of a shower or bath in my room and also a room on the quieter ( car park not A61) side of the hotel. Room is nicely decorated with kettle and coffee maker, milk and water in fridge. Additional extras like iron and ironing board, hairdryer , additional pillows and blankets ,safe and fridge. Bathroom good lighting and up lighters so not dazzling overnight. With wall mounted toiletries and heated towel rail. Free WiFi was to a good speed and TV worked ok once I had worked out the remote . Bar was comfortable and drinks not too expensive - with an sms offering 15% off my first drink. I had booked the restaurant for the evening , although it wasn’t busy- I’ve sometimes struggled to get a table in hotels before. Food ( a la carte)was very good and serving staff excellent, discrete and helpful with friendly pleasant manners . Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices continental , or hot buffet and cooked to order . Again serving staff were excellent . Everything was clean and in good working order and the extra large bed was exceedingly comfortable - I had a restful sleep and the hotel was quiet .

A bit of info about the TV remote would have been useful.

Very modern, high spec and classy. Comfortable rooms, all facilities, free parking. The staff were all professional and courteous. The breakfast service was good, as was the bar and reception. Housekeeping did a brilliant job. The whole hotel had a welcoming vibe and was decorated uniquely.

We were given incorrect information about being able to eat bar food in an alternative location. As a busy hotel, functions can cause some disruption- both the bass sound of the music, and the drunken guests returning to rooms at 1am.

All the Staff from arrival to departure where amazing extremely positive welcoming and obliging. The Hotel is located next to a major road ,this only added to the convenient accessible location and did not cause any noise disturbance the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with an easy to use air conditioning system . The food and drink menu choice and availability was excellent , room service was used which arrived promptly and with courtesy at a late hour. A massive Thank you to all at Casa Hotel
