The experience was exactly what we thought it would be—truly amazing to experience the jungle and stay in the location we did. Sai and the other lady (we didn’t catch her name), who work on the front desk, were so helpful and friendly. We were a short walk (5-10 mins) from lots of bars and restaurants. We booked bamboo rafting and the 1-day lake boating tour directly with them and highly recommend you experience this (rafting was our favourite. So peaceful and beautiful views). During our stay we saw monkeys, geckos, and even a snake(!! Not for the faint of heart haha but that’s what you sign up for).

Our bed was a bit uncomfortable (the mattress was thin and firm). And the shower in the bathroom was just open so the toilet / room got wet when you showered (but we knew this when booking). It didn’t affect our stay at all but wanted to add it here if that’s something that bothers you.

I arrived quite early, much earlier than check in time, and the staff were so kind and got me into my room way earlier than expected. The property is really special, it's in such a unique location and staying in a treehouse is so much fun!

Because of the location, there is wildlife around. The animals get on top of the treehouses and make a lot of noise at night - it's harmless, but it's unnerving if they're sounds you're not used to. I also didn't like that the room was lockable from outside - when you leave, you lock up the room with a padlock. As a woman on my own, I felt uncomfortable with this. I was woken from a nap by someone outside, and when I called out they said they didn't realise someone was in there, and that it'd been locked. they unlocked it for me, but I didn't love the feeling that I could get locked in. The property is also down a small dirt road, so be aware of this if you're bringing lots of luggage.

Our treehouse was amazing. Sitting out on the porch listening to the frogs and birds in the late evening was delightful. Leas than a mile to the park entrance. A huge range of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The restaurant and bar at the hotel was also excellent. Very quick turnaround on laundry facility (also very reasonable price for laundry). Mosquito nets provided over beds.

The showers did have brownish water for a little while. The room is not completely sealed so jungle critters could find their way in. We had a visit from a friendly spider but one of the staff was kind enough to escort it on its way and we didn't see anything else inside on our 3 day visit. Squirrels on the roof were occasionally loud at night, but then we were in the jungle so expected to hear animal noises.

The location was great, close to restaurants and the minivan station, but you still felt very close to the wildlife. The huts are surrounded by nature and we even saw some lizards and snakes. We stayed here for two nights with one overnight at the lake in between and the staff took care of our items for us. The staff in general were very nice! Having the restaurant on site was great for a post-travel beer or if you feel too tired to head into the town. Breakfast can be quick if you need to rush for tour pick up.

The first hut we stayed in showed signs of wildlife having entered (droppings and noises, we think something was living in the roof). It had been raining for two days so our second hut was a little damp (but clean nonetheless!). You are in the rainforest after all! The pool water wasn't clean enough to swim in (greenish water).

The location is just beautiful. Arriving in the dark was so exciting as you could hear the insects and frogs buzzing and croaking, and then waking up in the trees with a wonderful view of it all. My hut had a bathtub, which I made the most of, and a lovely peaceful terrace above it. The resort is a stone's throw from local shops and eateries.

The bathroom needs some TLC. Some tiles missing and wobbly shelves. A little more attention to practical details wouldn't go amiss. They were also building a new hut opposite which was loud during the day.

We had a lovely stay in this dreamy place. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was really good for a good price! You are walking distance from the street with lots of nice restaurants aswel. The resort really helped us with taxis from Krabi airport and to Ao Nang afterwards and they were very helpful planning our activities! Would definitely recommend the kayaking!

Even though we loved the accommodation wouldn’t recommend it to people with young kids since there’s stairs everywhere and the steps are very high! Probably could have known but didn’t realize. The staff was amazing with the kids but I’d recommend kids being 3 to 4 years or older to stay here.

The gorgeous fireflies in the undergrowth under the board walk were magical! The staff were so friendly, absolutely loved the hibiscus juice free welcome drink and the cocktails were great and good value in happy hour! The staff were incredible - I whatsapped ahead to ask if they could organise a transfer for us from a tour to near Phuket airport, and they went above and beyond with arranging for the driver to bring our bags from the hotel, and then collected us from the tour location directly - this was above and beyond the call of duty and was immensely appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature. Our Bungalow was clean and rather comfortable (it would be perfect to have a sightly bigger bed). Very friendly, helpful and professional personel. It was a great advanture to spend the night there, however, you need to keep in mind that jungle can be a little loud at night, and if you have open bathroom, there will be a wildlife like bugs, lizards, bats ect..

The treehouses in the jungle were such a fun experience. Very simple bungalow. Tours booked through the resort were exceptional, and the main gentleman at reception we spoke with was incredible, so kind and helpful. The breakfast at the resort was also delicious!

The bathroom was quite simple with the shower being essentially above the toilet. Would love some sort of shower curtain separation. The water temperature was lukewarm at best. Besides that, great value for our stay!

The bungalows of the Khao Sok Paradise Resort were located in the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and other animals. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. The resort offers a lot of tours and adventures, which the staff organises quick and easy for you. Also the tour guides they hired for all of our activities were extremely competent and nice. As we wanted to check out, there was an electricity outage, following their staff helping us with finding a taxi and with the payment (because we could not get cash at the atm with the outage).

The bed was not very comfortable. We booked a bungalow with an outdoor bathroom, since it sounds like a nice experience. However, we did not think about all the animals, that come by at night. We had huge spiders, lizards, various bugs and even a bat “in” our bathroom. The bat even pooped on our towels. This is not a reason why you should not book this resort, because you can also choose rooms with a closed bathroom. Nevertheless, if you feel adventurous and are not scared of big bugs etc. it is definitely worth choosing the outdoor bathroom. We for sure had a laugh!
