I really like this hotel. When we got there we noticed plenty of parking (usually hard to find in OC) and the lady at the front desk was super nice! Both buildings seemed to be kept up and clean. I loved the view from our balcony and how spacious the room was! I will definitely be returning!

Everything was pretty clean but in some places you could tell get neglected like a pair of socks by the curtain from previous renters. There was also some hair in the bathroom that didn't get cleaned up.. Also the walls are THIN! We could hear other guests all night long walking in the hallway and other doors opening and shutting..

I just came back to this location after 8 years and it’s still a hidden gem. Their front office staff is amazing and customer service is phenomenal. They don’t make you feel uneasy and they treat all hotel guest the same!! You can see the best western merger helped this hotel the rooms look decent, clean, they have the best showers!! The water gets hot at the right time! The pressure! You will love it! The room is old but the care and cleanliness of the property says a lot! If you have young kids! You’ll love it too! The diner cooks good meals, you have access to the best western beside them now! This hotel is right off the highway!

Nothing on the hotel, but it’s a few blocks down from the OC board walk! It would be nice if they offered a bus service or bonus getting there and back to the hotel!

The property was perfect. Had a great location. I had no issues with this place but one thing I enjoyed that the pool was small but the area for the pool should’ve been a little bigger for more space to walk around.

So my biggest problem with this was how loud it is when people are closing doors and also how bad the mattresses are. I mean I left with such a bad back when all I wanted to do was have a good night sleep on a decent mattress but this mattress honestly has probably been the worst that I have ever experienced. Other than that. The location is great. The facility is great. The people were great, the view was fine. The location is fine. The employees were great. The staff was great. The pool was clean, but I was not able to get a good nights sleep just because of how bad the mattress was.

I loved the quietness of the area, so peaceful. Balcony was very roomy, beautiful scenery of the bay. Beds were so comfortable. Room was a great size. Room was very clean & plenty of towels. Cool elevator with one side glass to the scenery. Loved that it had a little lounge area,with a picnic table, on the 1st floor. Didn't use the pool, but it was very clean & nice. Would definitely stay here again I love that it was about 3 blocks from fractured prune donuts and dunkin donut

The staff was friendly minus 1 person. He wasn't rude just wasn't helpful . But the room was fine and the Cafe food was really good

The pool not being open late. If its swim at your own risk why not leave it open. The fact that there was no staff other than housekeeping in our building was concerning considering we had kid screaming in the hallway.

Excellent location. Property was clean and there was a “new furniture” smell. The new furniture was nice and modern. The view off of the deck was spectacular!

The slamming of the doors! The neighbors just let their door slam every time and it was very loud and jolting. Maybe strips could be added so that this doesn’t happen. Also, hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang up towels and clothes would be helpful.

All the staff was friendly & helpful plus accommodating. The room was clean w private balcony which is a plus!! Had everything we needed w ample parking & beautiful bay views. Would recommend & stay here again!!Stunning!

If I had to say anything was wrong, I would say they need a new king size bed, very lumpy but besides that was very pleased and would stay there again

The staff was super friendly upon arrival! They were able to accommodate me with a room I requested so I was very pleased. The view was amazing during sunset and great to wake up to as well.

I don’t have really anything to complain about with this hotel. I’ve had 2 great experiences with this specific hotel now.

The place was cleaner than expected. Everybody I dealt with was super nice and cheery. Location is great, easily within walking distance. I had a beach buggy to load up chairs, it was quite manageable from this location. The price was the cheapest I could find online with a pool, walking distance to the beach, and with a balcony for smokers. TV was nice. It was cool to have a minifridge and a microwave. AC worked really good. Parking is PLENTIFUL and theres enough room for big trucks like my Long Bed Tundra. Walking distance to beer, wine, liquor, great food.

Theres a steep ramp going up into elevator, no big deal unless you overload your luggage like me. Minifridge is indeed mini. You can get a case of beer in there though. Microwave is also tiny. Honestly not a big deal. Pool is tiny.
