The room was extremely spacious, with loads of space for suitcases and other paraphernalia and included a 2 seater sofa, a table and chairs, a large bench, wardrobe and fridge, and a sink. The bathroom was large, very clean and bright. I really liked that the AC was not pointing directly at the bed, but situated above the door in the short entry hall, and aimed into the main area.

As the room is on a main road, a bit of traffic noise is evident, however it settles at night with only the odd rev head proving their stupidity. Not an option to leave the blind open if you don't want anyone looking in and lighting in the main room is definitely "mood" lighting. At check in, I was given a second floor room. I'm a 65 year old female who had been travelling for a week and had a heavy suitcase. I was charged an additional $10 to have a ground floor room. I was too tired to argue the point but felt it was an unnecessary charge. A room is a room and there were plenty of vacancies. This was the only downside to my stay.

The room was more than spacious and although the facilities were older, they were spotlessly clean and everything was in good order. The bathroom was large with a full size bath, and in excellent condition for its age.

I didn't get advised about how to order the breakfast and, as I was keen to get on the road the next morning, I left without ordering it. A notice in the room about how to order would have made this process easier. Also, my room was upstairs on the intersection of two main streets so there was a fair bit of traffic noise.

The bed was comfortable, easy location to have a quick overnight stop.

In our room the shower was doing a loud sound when turning on the hot water. It was impossible to shower while the warm or hot water was on, so we had to shower with cold water. I called on the next available day as the following day was a public holiday and they were very nice on the phone saying they haven't been aware of this problem and that they will call a plumber immediately to fix it. A bit disappointed that there was no intention of a nice gesture towards us.

Quite clean, modern. Refurbished within last few years. Cheap. Good location. Hose on site to wash car after long drive! Check in was super smooth. Very helpful staff.

We moved a bed, under it had used tissues and clearly not been cleaned. Dust came off curtains when opening them, needed a good deep clean. Was very noisy being a Saturday night and a busy road, all the units face the road so the hoons at the intersection were really loud until the early hours. Same with drunks walking past and leaving the adjacent hotel.

We always enjoy our stay here! The intelligent, quality and finish achieved with the renovation of room 4 makes it a pleasurable experience. Being so close to the city centre and almost next door to the SSA Club, means that we can walk everywhere within minutes. Should you have a caravan then you could use the adjacent, very large and unrestricted carpark. Staff, pricing and cleanliness are always exceptional. Albury Townhouse Motel has short and simple access from the Hume Freeway. We attempted booking directly but found it easier and quicker via Booking.com.

Our next booking will include a request for the same room! Albury Townhouse Motel has short and simple access from the Hume freeway and is an almost ideal location to break the journey when travelling between Melbourne and Sydney.

Car park!!! Why do all these types of properties NOT number car parks to match the room it would make it so much easier and if you don’t have enough parks for each room Why not !! Just seems a trend over the last few years I’ve noticed and have listened to in the past and this time people arguing over car parks. Not a great way to spend a holiday.

We had three rooms for our family. They were excellent for the price and very spacious for a family. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with mattress and pillow protectors, a renovated bathroom and new appliances. Staff were very helpful when we had an issue with the lock on our door and didn't hesitate to move us. We were travelling for basketball and the central location made it easy to travel between stadiums.

There is a pub across the road so it was noisier than some locations but not terrible.

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, very spacious, coffee and tea and biscuits provided, hairdryer provided. Close to supermarket and restaurants.

Not too much to complain about, it’s an older building with old style, so nothing fancy but perfect for a comfy place to sleep.

Location was excellent. Stairs were quite steep, but in a very quiet area until weekly morning traffic started. Room was comfortable, facilities very clean and neat. Plug in bathroom basin, dark face washer for makeup removal get a tick. Bed was warm, spare pillows and blankets were there, but were not needed
