a good size, a lift, generally comfortable breakfast option good air con secure parking available the hotel is well situated for cafes, bars etc and it set in the historic part of the city

staff communication between each other seemed problematic -we extended our stay but the person at the desk was not updated and told us adamantly that we did not not have a room to lengthen our stay etc, we had already paid but she was unaware of this and we had been booked in for 3 further nights-tricky-this was eventually resolved thankfully. noisy at weekends until early hours-3am, we had 2 different rooms the noise was not a problem in the first room as we were further away from the main road.

The hotel is located within a block or so of Plaza Mayor, a must see place in Salamanca and is about 3 blocks from Gran Via where there is frequent bus service. The staff here were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

This is a college town and the young folks can be loud and boisterous returning home after the bars close. I was torn between irritation about being woken up and nostalgia about when I used to do the same thing. Oh to be young again.

This accommodation is totally fantastic. On arrival, following a really bad day, the four nation European blackout, we were welcomed with open arms. Awesome helpful hits on sightseeing and restaurants. The staff could not have done more for us. Our room was beautiful and we woke every morning with a view of church bell towers and snow covered mountains. The location is unbeatable, close to everything you want to be a part of. I could not recommend this accommodation highly enough.

Absolutely nothing.

Loved the location and room was super clean. Facing the main street, couldn't hear a things. We slept ao well. Adriana was amazing and helped us with providing an awesome parking garage for our car which was around 3 mins walking to the hotel. Breakfast was nice too, dining room very beautifully decorated. Loads of restaurants around so finding a nice eating spot was never a problem. Stone throw away from all famous monuments :) Has a lift which was great when you have luggage and children.

The only thing I didn't like was the bathtub. It was at a very awkward position in the bathroom, which made it very difficult to give my children a shower. The bathtub was very narrow, length wise, making getting in and out quite slippery and dangerous. Bathroom size, in general, was spacious and very clean.

Hotel Rua was a little gem , close to plaza mayor , the room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was facing the street which was always buzzing but our room was so quiet.Breakfast was adequate.Any small issues we had were dealt with immediately.

In contrast to outside noise , we could hear everything from the room above but we only stayed a few days so was fine. It was a little pricey for our stay.

Everything went quite well. I think I found my Hotel in Salamanca for the next time.

I already knew that parking was at a park nearby with which the hotel has an agreement. It was nearby indeed but I have a big vehicle maneuvers turn dificult to achieve. As there are at least two 24h other parks also close perhaps next time I will try one of those.

The location is great. It's easy to walk to all of the main tourist sights, and the abundance of great food and drink available is wonderful. When we visited (August 28 to September 2) it did not feel terribly crowded even though there were a lot of people there. We loved walking around the area and seeing how things evolved throughout the day, from being quiet and empty at 0600 to being busy and full of life until after midnight. The vibe of the area is very relaxed. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Adrianna. We felt very welcome. There is a small fridge in the room and a lot of closet space. There are also a couple of fairly comfortable chairs and a nice desk.

The bathroom layout is kind of awkward, especially the tub/shower. We had never seen faucets like the ones in the tub, and they take a little getting used to. The hot water is probably hotter than it should be, so be careful! Also, the lighting in the bathroom is not so great for shaving or putting on makeup.

Good buffet breakfast with choice of meats and cheese and we had fresh scrambled eggs also variety of cakes and pastries . Very comfortable bed and good sized room for city centre. Staff were very friendly.

All very good but if you book car park space it is typical underground car park with lots of pillars and very restricted space but as we left the car parked there for three days was not an issue .

Central to restaurants, and local historical sights.Hotel staff were very friendly especially Patricia who was very helpful with places to see and go.Enjoyed the breakfasts with many choices. Room was very comfortable and quiet,and a decent size. It was a great choice to stay.

Location , the staff specially the lovely lady at reception Adrianna was extremely friendly and professional she is a credit to her establishment, my room was big clean quite and very comfortable. Good value for money of you get the right dates the location was superb and walking distance to everything . Adrianna’s smile was enough to make your day. Definitely coming back again .
