Location was great for our neets for the Beachfest, close to resteraunts, beach and cafe's. Bed was ok tho not having the choice of firmer pillows a little dissapointing.

Bed was ok,, all the pillows too soft ,,, maybe instead of 4 soft pillows do 2 soft and 2 firm. The bathroom is roomy tho a little dark and our only concern was the bath,,, it is a high and wide step into the bath which can be slippery and dangerous,,, should be a hand rail on the wall to hold,,,, holding onto the towel rail which is loose is not of health and safety standard. No microwave in the room :(

Good location - a short and easy walk to esplanade and restaurants, cafes and boardwalk, as well as main shopping street. The check in process was easy, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The unit we stayed in had no view (we were aware of this when we booked), but was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The shower was over the bath tub meaning you had to step in, but this was not a problem. The bathroom itself was a great size, and the power outlet had USB ports. The sitting area was pleasant with a small table and chairs, sofa and good size TV. There was a small balcony with table and chairs. The kitchenette had everything we needed including a full size fridge. We appreciated the free parking. Would recommend, and be happy to stay again.

Unfortunately we stayed for just one night in absolute peak season so paid accordingly. That said, it was more affordable than other similar accommodation. (We booked only a few days before our stay).

Location is very central. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

No microwave in room.. No blinds or shutters to cover frosted glass in bathroom that seperates bathroom and room. Can see shadow of person having a shower if you turn on bathroom lights. I was sharing the room so we couldn't shower with the lights on as someone sitting on the bed in the room can see your body shape in the shower. Also if you turn on the lights in the bathroom to.go to the toilet in the middle of the night it ights up the whole room as it is like a window and wakes the other person up.

Great size apartment. Had absolutely everything we needed including dryer and washing machine. Good views although when the new building is completed across the road it will be more limited. The ladies at reception were very friendly and the location to everything was great, we could walk to the restaurant at the front and any shops we needed. Pool, spa and sauna were also excellent. The pool temperature was excellent.

The lighting in both main bathroom and ensuite were terrible, putting makeup on in poorly lit rooms made it hard. They also needed exhaust fans.

Comfy bed, very nice shower and toilet. Spacious wardrobe and a pleasant balcony. The swimming pool area is very nice too. Easy check in and check out. Room service was lovely too.

A few issues with processing my payments. Different amounts charged at the hotel (higher) than through booking.com. Staff seem a bit upset when trying to find a clarification regarding this, they sent me a higher amount invoice that doesn't match my credit card charges, so now I need to get another invoice from Booking.com to be able to reconcile my work credit card. Undercover car park is very low clearance so we had to use parking on the street.

The room was attractive, spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very comfy. The room facilities met our expectations and we had a very enjoyable few days. Parking was easy, the restaurant within the building is top rate, the pool accessible and very enjoyable.

The air conditioning was erratic, we couldn't get the temperature right most of the time. The kitchen is not well equipped, there were very few utensils and bowls, microwave containers etc. The rooftop bbq area didn't have any lights - at least we couldn't find any switches, so we cooked barramundi in the dark which I found to be a challenge and cleaning up in the dark after was challenging be as well. And we couldn't sit there and enjoy our meal because of the lack of lighting in the area provided. There weren't any bbq tools in the bbq area or the room. I had intended to bbq dinner more often. I expect that these are maintenance issues and will be attended to easily so they won't affect our decision to come and stay again.

This is our regular place to stay in Caloundra. Been here MANY times. It's LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Plus! IN the main street, excellent restaurants close, Seafood place, Supermarkets, RSL, and SHOPS! Walk to the beach, and to practically all the town. Last time we stayed construction work over the road was LOUD and dusty. This time it was fairly quiet, but the corner was a traffic nightmare with stop/go in progress. This was overcome by going out the other way.

For the first time we notice the rooms getting a bit "tired". We had a one bed apartment (always) and it had begun to look worn. Lights did not work, carpet needed replacement, and couches were quite worn. Fridge showing some age, though it worked fine! Our entry key played up with opening garage doors and entry. Reported this and lighting. Noted prices were still reasonable compared to others.

Location: parking, pool, local shopping including a shopping centre with supermarkets, beaches, playgrounds, cafes and restaurants easy to walk to. Pool on site.

The only slight negative was a small fee for additional towels and to use pool towels. Only one bath towel provided with the room per person. Would have helped to be advised of this at the time of booking to allow consideration of packing a towel for the trip.

Everything, the location was fantastic, the room was very spacious and incredibly comfortable, it had everything we could have possibly asked for and the view from the balcony was absolutely Beautiful, the pool was amazing and even has a hot tub on the side, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed and more

The only issue we had was that the shower leaked slightly so the bathroom floor did get wet but it wasn’t too much of an issue

Always the the location, friendly staff which includes the cleaners as well. Very friendly and cheerful. Great rooms with a great view if your lucky to get an ocean view. My wife and I stayed there for almost a week to celebrate her 60th and used the BBQ facilities on the roof with the rest of our family to which was a memberable evening that she will never forget. Thank you OVR for a fantastic stay.
