A small family run hotel in the heart of the main pedestrian area. Received a warm welcome from Jennifer and Mattieu on arrival and they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable good sized room with a comfortable bed and decent bath/shower. Complimentary coffee/ teas in room with local savoury snack and chocs. Mini bar stocked with soft drinks and beer at a reasonable price. Breakfast of local Pay Basque produce delicious - noted crockery also local made - a nice touch. Lots of fab restaurants and shops on the doorstep . Dog friendly . A lovely stay.

Parking a walk away ( got lost trying to find arrival parking drop off place) Stairs could be challenging for those with mobility problems.

Everything was so well thought out, very comfortable relaxing and the staff were quiet and kind, no hovering or intrusion but in the background available to help. They enabled an early checkin at no cost, lent beach towels in basket. And answered our travel questions we had around our onward journey. Super central. Easy walk from train station. A really great stay. Super clean too. We loved the bath.

It was pretty perfect. We will happily return one day I hope.

This is such a lovely small hotel in the very centre of St Jean de Luz in a pedestrian street. It is very quiet and peaceful. I was greeted warmly on arrival by Jennifer who helped me with my luggage. I was given a lovely, comfortable room with a balcony looking over the main shopping street. Every detail had been thought about, including providing black tea on request for the English tea drinker! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped with an excellent shower. Breakfast with local products was delicious and served in a lovely room looking over the hotel terrace. I would thoroughly recommend Les Almadies and its owners, Jennifer and Mathieu, for a great place to stay. I hope to visit again.

I liked everything.

Very good location in the heart of Saint Jean. We stayed 2 nights, enjoyed a lovely breakfast and the room and balcony were perfect for our stay. We walked everywhere . Excellent friendly, helpful and engaging hosts who also speak English.

Difficult to find on street parking so parked overnight in a local car park for 20 euros

The hotel is really pretty and in the heart of the shopping and eating district. It was wonderful to just step out and be in a shop, bar or restaurant and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean and even had a little balcony to soak up the atmosphere. Jennifer is super friendly and really helpful, she mapped out a tour of the region for us which we followed, great to see Biarritz and surrounding villages. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon!

We have absolutely nothing to complain about, we used the Indigo parking which is 5 minutes away and booked on line before hand which made life very easy and stress free.

A nice property right in the heart of town The lady on reception was extremely friendly and informative . Comfortable if small room but spot on for a one night stay. Very clean with a nice bathroom with shower. Great location with secure parking a few blocks away We didn’t take breakfast as we always like to go out but it did look good Would stay here again

The location was great. It's in the pedestrian area, very close to restaurants, shops, and seafront. The owners are lovely people and very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, and the breakfast well worth the extra.

Its location was perfect, with our room looking out over the square. The room was very comfortable, and the proprietor warm, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was put together with care and extremely good. We really enjoyed our stay there.

There was nothing we disliked.

The host & hostess are warm, friendly and speak excellent English (and Spanish, French and probably a little Chinese!). Our room was excellently appointed, with several small, nice touches (eg., umbrellas, beverage refrigerator, comfy chairs). The location could not be any better, in the center of 'old town' St.John de Luz, minutes from the bus stop, minutes from the beach. Breakfast was fresh juices, freshly baked croissants/breads/rolls, yogurts (even Basque goat-milk yogurt), ffresh fruit & berries, local cheeses, jamon, eggs, coffee, teas...just wonderful. Beautiful breakfast room and a sunny patio where we brought our picnic lunch.

Superb and very helpful hosts. Perfect location on a pedestrian street and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach or Les Halles. Easy walk to the train station. Safe and reasonably priced parking is very close by.

There was nothing we didn't like. However A/C would have been a bonus. But the ceiling fan was helpful.
