Sam (i believe his name was) the young man at the front desk was fabulous. So well spoken, very respectful. He offered us an option for a different room (the other room allowing us each to have our own bed), but he physically took us to see both rooms so we could choose which we liked more. He was great and to me that was above and beyond. The house was beautiful. Worth every dollar to stay here.
no complimentary breakfast, more and more hotels aren't doing them anymore, even if just some fruit and bagels. but oh well. There was complementary coffee and tea which was great!-very nice to sit with a cup taking in the house and pretending what it wouldve been like in the 1800s.

This charming Inn has a tone of character. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are captured by the elegance of the carefully selected decor, the soft acoustic sound track and the warm smile behind the check in desk. The detailed wood work on this old Victorian house will have you dreaming up history from the last 200+ years. Our room was large, the bed was very comfy and the sheets were soft. Big windows lets in lots of natural light and the modern shower /bathroom provides everything you need in this century. Enjoy the convenience of breakfast in the dining area. Food is delicious, the French toast was just like my grandmother used to make it - brought me to tears. Good tears. The presentation of the food, and the flavours are worth it. We loved the eggs Benedict and the care the put into cutting your orange. We just loved the features of this Inn, the history behind it and the family currently operating it… and Cash of course. (Their family dog)
I don’t have one complaint.

Great location, right next to downtown Charlottetown and various shops and restaurants. Very lovely décor, feels like a cozy vicotrian home. The room was pretty spacious and the bed was comfy. Staff were great, Sam when I checked-in in the evening, and the young fellow in the morning were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! Would have loved for it to be included in the price of my stay, but it was worth the extra 15 $ for sure !!
The only little detail - and it's quite unimportant - there was a little spot of unpainted plaster visible behind the headborad, so the room didn't feel completely finished. Also, there was a ''rustic'' crack in the wooden door that I didn't minde, but that others might.

Nestled near shops and restaurants, the inn was a beautiful Victorian gem. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The modern bathroom boasted a large bathtub and separate shower, providing a perfect retreat after our journey. The lobby offered complimentary tea and coffee. I started my day with a delightful breakfast at the parlor, enjoying a fresh kale salad with pine nuts, eggs, and toast. The $20 price tag was well justified.
I couldn't think of any.

The location is perfect and you can walk around Charlottetown. The staff were fantastic and super helpful and friendly.. the breakfast was good we ate there twice.
The building is a fantastic historic building and due to that of course has very 'thin walls' and you can hear everything in the rooms next to you. The shower controls were also difficult to work and should just be separated into two different controls for each showe head. The bathroom was also rather small.

The Fairholm Inn was lovely! The location to everything in downtown Charlottetown couldn’t have been better! We had a fabulous suite in the yellow home with a kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms and back porch overlooking a lovely garden. Don’t miss the delicious breakfast! The eggs Benedict was fabulous, along with the fancy coffee machine. The owners/staff were very accommodating and delightful!

Loved this place. Location was perfect, easy to walk around Charlottetown. Great parking. Staff were lovely, so pleasant to deal with. We stayed in the Kent room, bed was super comfortable, sofa was comfy too. Good sized bathroom and the whole room was lovely and clean. Can hear all the plumbing from the other rooms, didn't both us but something to consider as it is a historic inn. We thought it added to the character. Nice modern rooms in a historic setting!

Almost everything. The 180 year old building was amazing
We were in a separate building to the main one. Staff were very friendly when they were around but they were not around much in our building. Tea / coffee station in our building lounge was great but we had to ask for a kettle (provided) but nothing was restocked during our stay. You also have to ask for the room to be cleaned. Very odd for this price point.

Very last-minute stay after a disappointment elsewhere. Great welcome. Really friendly, helpful staff offered us a choice of rooms. Excellent room, large and comfortable. Clean and spacious bathroom. Good parking, could leave car next day whilst we went sightseeing. Coffee on tap in reception. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Good location, peaceful but only a short walk to excellent places to eat.

Lovely restored mansion and out buildings. The room was nice but daily maid service is not scheduled, if you want a refresh you have to request it and they only change the towels, so for the cost per night not really worth it
Parking is very poor despite there being a few spots right outside our door we had to park on the far side of the property quite a long walk
