Great stay good location friendly staff nice comfortable room with a very good breakfast. We will happily return.

It rained when we arrived so there is a good American themed restaurant just down the road which does great ribs and steaks. We then went bowling almost opposite. Hotel is well located for the marina and shops.

We stayed in a superior double, which had a huge comfortable bed, good sized room, with a superb layered view down into the harbour. Very close to town. Accepts visitors with dogs, there is a park at the bottom of Museum Rd, which is super for dogs. We arrived quite late from a long drive down from Liverpool; Steve was very welcoming and gave super clear instructions and information, Breakie at £10 extra each for one morning was more than adequate. Despite live music and music being played in the basement bar each night we heard nothing from our room. Lovely quiet stay. Thank you.

Advisory - bear in mind there is no lift, this is explained pre booking. Wasn’t a problem for us but may be for those with mobility issues.

Great location , nice clean and comfortable.

A lot of stairs to climb as we were at the top of the building. Furniture could do with updating.

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable generous supply of tea coffee and milk in room lovely and warm all around the hotel the radiators were hot needed as really cold out staff really friendly paid extra £10 each for breakfast good choice cereals yoghurt orange/apple juice nice coffee and a full english not far from town centre and harbour great for visiting the princess theatre plenty of restaurants really close by Indian Thai Chinese Greek etc all within walking distance plenty of parking on hotel grounds

Hotel was dated but for an overnight stay not a problem and we were on the third floor with no lift not good if you have any mobility issues I think you would need to ask for a ground or first floor also being halfway up the hill from the town bit of a steep climb back also not a problem but perhaps need to be aware

Greated by the manager & told we had a free room upgrade which was nice. Helped to our room as well. Great location with free parking. Left to ourselves which was nice. Close proximity to harbour & buses, lots to see & do. Museum right beside the hotel.

Nothing really, wasted lots of water waiting for the shower to warm up, once we knew this it was fine. The Bathroom door kept on opening so could do with sorting. But nothing was that bad. Thanks for having us & would gladly return again. Well worth the money.

Yardley Manor was very good the location was perfect, dog friendly too.The room was an upgrade we had a massive bed plenty of storage lovely view and it was very clean. Bed linen was fresh and so were the soft white towels. We had a shower en-suite, plenty of loo rolls handwash very clean. What I liked was there were spare pillows in wardrobe a fan and ironing facilities, there was a coffee machine fridge kettle and plenty of tea bags milk and Nescafé + Biscuits this was replenished every day. Room was cosy and warm perfect after a long day out. Now the breakfast was just superb! great choice from fruit, yogurts cereals crumpets, pancakes coffee/tea then the full English wow! toast scrambled eggs etc. What made it a lovely stay was the Griffin Bar to relax at night couple of drinks a chill, staff were excellent friendly and service was great. Our Boston Terrier was spoilt with 2 sausage every day and treats in the evening. So thank you for such a lovely stay.

Lovely Hotel . All staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.Room comfy and spotless. Shower perfect .Amazing / wonderful manager who helped me get my phone and bank cards back when I left them in a taxi. He Spent ages ringing round companies , let me stay in my room to use as a base as was due to check out , even gave me cash from his own account ! and let me use his phone to ring my son . Thank you so much . Thank you to Torquay Taxi Companies too who put an alert out and my phone and bank cards were returned to The Hotel .

Loved the little sitting room which was dog friendly and very cheerful looking, like the bedroom and the shower room was lovely.

Loved the little sitting room which was lovely. The fault we found was the mat was very tatty, and the sofa was cream leather and we were concerned that if our dog accidentally jumped on it he might put a claw through the leather,!!! The only trouble with the bedroom was the space on the one side of the bed to get out of it. The space was very narrow but a lovely room and the bed was lovely and comfortable.

What a fabulous find! A short walk to the harbour, staff were amazingly attentive and welcoming. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable with a wonderful sea view. Breakfast was great, the lovely lady even cooked a sausage for our dog. The bar was perfect for the evenings if you didn't want to go down into the harbour, again staff were lovely. A convenient little park just across the road, which was ideal for walking our dog. If you want a clean, comfortable, dog friendly hotel, you won't beat this one! Free parking, Wi-fi and no additional charges for dogs.

The only suggestion that I would make is a mirror on the dressing table would have been useful and perhaps some shelving in the bathroom for toiletries.

Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The room was a good size and the bed was so comfortable that it's the best night's sleep we've had in a long time. The hotel had live music, but we couldn't even hear it in the room. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach and harbour and some great places to eat. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. There's also cold buffet to choose from. Well worth getting the breakfast as it really sets you up for the day. All in all we would stay here again.

Water pressure in the shower wasnt great but honestly not a deal breaker.
