Room was lovely, with a great little bay window and seating area. Maybe a little dated, but still very nice for the price paid. Beds were super soft, however dipped in the middle as it was two singles together. Room was very clean apart from the ceiling light fitting that had a lot of dust and cobwebs. Great check-in from the gentleman working, very friendly, professional and helpful with information and booking us a taxi. Breakfast the was great, lots of choice and tasted great. All staff very friendly and helpful.

1 night stay for my partner and I was excellent. Superior Double room was clean comfortable and the bed was devine. Late checkout next day until 12 was very welcome for my nightshift working partner. Use of the Hydropools, Jacuzzi, plunge pool, Steam Room & Sauna all for an extra £10 each the next day was fabulous. Breakfast was lovely. Sunny walk around the clifftop next morning in the beautiful sun made for a fantastic stay. We'll be back!

Staff very kind and helpful when I was unable to make pre booked dinner in the restaurant due to feeling unwell and kindly brought a sandwich to our room. I made a reservation for a week and paid the full amount in advance. However, I stayed there for only five days, and unfortunately, the remaining amount cannot be refunded.

Very clean, nice location and very nice staff. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with staff in attendance to assist.

Extractor fan was very noisy. I could hear the extractor fans in adjoining rooms when their bathrooms were in use. Loud enough to keep me awake but in fairness, I am a light sleeper. I had requested decaf coffee in my room, both on booking and upon arrival, but this didn’t happen.

The Hotel is in an excellent location with a panoramic view of the sea. The room was spacious and had good facilities including en-suite with a shower and a large bath. The breakfast was buffet style but had a great selection. It was easy walking distance to Meadfoot beach. The Hotel also has a spa facility with heated hydro spa pools that we indulged in for relaxation after a long walk.

It was not too much of a walk to Torquay Harbour as it is all downhill. However, this was a bind being uphill all the way back, so in the evening we took a taxi ride back.

The architecture of the hotel is amazing and the surrounding nature and scenery as well. The staff is nice and helpful. I haven't tried the restaurant for the other meals than breakfast. The breakfast was alright. The usual English breakfast. I wished I had the opportunity to stay longer and to explore the footpaths but my job was calling...

On my departure date there was some loud noise outside at about 8.30am. My room window was facing towards the back of the hotel. It sounded like someone decided to slam some giant milk metal cans to the soil. Eventually the sound stopped so I couldn't figure out what it was.

All staff that we came across were lovely and helped with absolutely anything. Thank you. My mum and I also had some spa treatments and the massage and facials were absolutely amazing. We both cannot that you all enough for an enjoyable stay.

The interior of the room and furniture was a bit dated, however fit with the overall feel of the hotel, thus wasn't too much of a hindrance

Great location. Easy reach of town whether you are walking or driving. There's a coastal path accessed directly outside the hotel with some stunning views of the area. The price of the room was extremely reasonable and the facilities/food/drink is also well priced. Breakfast was provided, there was ample choice ranging from cereals to fry up and continental options.

Although no fault of the hotel at all the property is old and comes with it the expected trappings of a big, old building. Squeaky floorboards and banging doors along with not particularly sound proof rooms means that if you're a light sleeper the hotel may not be perfect for you.

We had an executive room with fabulous sea view with sun-rise views. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast and dinner were very nice with a good choice. Spa facilities very good and highly recommend massage treatment.
