The retro looks of the guest house. The cleanliness? It's a family run guest house that really look after their guests, the guest house. I got confused at first about the location of the guest house as as I have not been there before. But got used to it. I will return next year as I had a good time in Torquay. I did mention to the house holder that I will return and book once again for a week or two to stay there.

What I wasn't expecting was the guest house had a lot of steps when I arrived at the property. But, I have no complaints about that as I am a disabled card holder and that will not put me off. I had a wonderful time staying there.

This was our 3rd stay at Coastal Waters and as in the past we were greeted by the owner Raj with a smile and a hand shake. We were a bit early for check in and the room was being cleaned but he gave us the keys to the room and said it would be ready in an hour and to just access the room at our choosing after that time. The room and the hotel throughout is very clean & tidy as it has always been in the past. Room 12 is our pick of the rooms as it has a balcony with table and chairs, side sea views and views across to a tree lined open communal grassed area. There is a small area to park behind the hotel, also Raj has provided parking permits for the public car park a few minutes walk up the hill behind the hotel, which we have used with no problems.

If we could rate this 100 stars we would! Deep Raj and his wife Susma were the most perfect hosts, Susma cooked a lovely breakfast ( we will be back for more) and Deep Raj was amazing he is a very helpful host nothing was to much trouble for him. I personally rate this couple as Torquays Best hosts. Lovely atmosphere throughout, beautiful, clean and comfortable. A nice pieceful B&B. Back to breakfast help yourself to a selection of teas and coffees, fruit, toast, jams and cerealsand orange juice followed by a very tasty full English. Nice little outdoor patio area which we spent plenty of time on, the location is great it's only a few minutes walk to Torquay Harbour side /buses and taxis Close to coastal paths for the adventures. We shall definitely be returning this summer and I'll be spreading the word with family and friends. Deep Raj and Susma once again thank you both so much. Hells and Gary P. Loved everything

The hotel has the very best management in Raj and his wonderful chef wife Susma. They exceed all expectations with their hospitality and making you feel totally comfortable. The spotless bedroom,comfortable furniture to the sumptuous mattress on the bed this cannot be beaten for quality. Matched with the absolutely fabulous cooked breakfast that simply is the best in Torquay you will relish your stay here. I would highly recommend Coastal Waters for it's 10 star quality and 10 star customer service. Simply Fabulous 5 STARS GW

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about the 'Wonderful' Coastal Waters' Hotel.

Raj was an exceptional host, he was very informative about the area, gave us recommendations on places to eat, he went out of his way to make us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much bother, helped wuth our cases and took them to our room, gave us a permit for parking and even got in the car to show us where to park, our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, the room was made up every day, the breakfast was delicious, there was cereal, fruit, yougurt, butter, jam, bread for toast, tea, coffee, fruit juices all ready for you and a cooked breakfast of your choice, would highly recommend staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to book here again, thankyou for a wonderful stay x

Nothing was perfect 👌

We was really impressed with our fabulous stay at Coastal Waters Room was spotless and spacious, the bed was comfy and had everything we needed; seating, mini fridge, coffee facilities, plenty of hanging space & drawers, make up mirror, hair dryer etc. Bathroom; large and spotless Location: perfect location for Torquay barber, only a small gentle incline to walk to the harbour. We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast property where it has been cleaned and looked after during a weekend stay - so clean. We were lucky enough to grab a spot at the rear of the hotel, but it would not of been an issue if we did not as there is a back up plan for this. We would not stay anywhere else when we return to beautiful Torquay.

Torquey is very steep which gives the disabled problems accessing places. Raj was excellent in his help and assistance to overcome these problems

I had a wonderful stay at Coastal Waters in Torquay. The location was excellent — I could easily access the train station, the marina, tourist sites, and restaurants either by bus or on foot, which made exploring the area super convenient and enjoyable. Also the staff were helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable

The only thing I noticed was my shower had a tiny bit of mold underneath the electrical shower unit but that can easily be fixed and it’s a common issue in the UK

The hotel was exceptionally clean.Raj was very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble.The rooms are serviced everyday with fresh towels and a clean.Location is great just a couple of minutes from the harbour.The breakfast is lovely and there is plenty of drinks, cereals and a large full English which was superb. It was our 3rd visit and as always it was fantastic. Would always try to book here if visiting Torquay it really is a little gem.

There is nothing to not like about the property its 5 star in our opinion

The service was excellent. The owner was fantastic and really went out of his way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. I was unable to stay the first night due to a breakdown and arrived the following day at about 10.30am. He went out of his way to make a full English breakfast for me, even though breakfast hours finished at 9.30am. He let me stay a bit longer after the 10am checkout on my final day and also let me work on my laptop for an hour and a half in the dining area afterwards. The service was superb, the room was clean. I would highly recommend Coastal Waters as a great place to stay in Torquay.
