Good hotel in terms of value, location and quality. It wasn't dirty by any means, but the floors could have done with a sweep from sand. There are two pool options - small but definitely nice to have. Our room was a great large size, with dressing table, wardrobe, TV and stand, and good size balcony. A big plus was the security box in the room - something we haven't had in many places. It was greatly appreciated. The lady on reception was pleasant and let us store our bags after we checked out. There are lots of friendly cats hanging out around the halls and hotel - we enjoyed it but maybe not everyone would.

Location was great, close to everything but still peaceful. Staff were great. Staff were great and cleanliness is great but shower heads need cleaning . Only stay here if you get pool rooms or if location to close by shops and restaurants is important to your stay.

First room was terrible. Bed was broken. But staff were great. They changed our rooms immidiately as it was low season. They had plenty rooms. Lighting is terrible. It's super dark in the room. Defintely get a pool rooms, it's the best part. Room has a musky smell.

For a 3 star hotel it is at a very good standard. The most luxurious 3 star I have ever stayed in. Room was spacious, very well located approx 3 min walk from ton sai pier. The bathroom was also good with a shower that had hot water and good water pressure. Aircon good. They actually had sockets by the bed on both sides too! Staff were easily accessible by phone and came immediately when asked out of reception hours as well. Also many friendly cats that lounge around near the pool.

We had 3 cockroaches in the room, however as mentioned above the staff came promptly when called and dealt with the problem.

Great central location, tucked away in a street. Lovely (small) pool if you're too lazy to go to the beach. Big comfy bed and balcony looking at the pool. Free bottles of water given every day. Air con worked great.

The works around the residence. The shower was a little bit old school (but acceptable for the price you are paying!). More lighting in the room would have been great but not a deal-breaker.

It's located in the centre of the island, yet far enough away from the party areas/noise. Plenty of food stores including authentic thai restaurants from the door step. Clean, big rooms and good quality beds and sheets. Great new ACs, and pool is nice and well kept.

Check-out time is 1100hrs and ferries are either 0900hrs or 1430hrs. It'll be good to have a 12-1300hr option but this is not isolated to this hotel as most are the same. You can leave your luggage at the reception.

The rooms are just fantastic and spacious like a 3 star hotel. They have a clean swimming pool which is spacious. The balcony faces the swimming pool. Though it is right in the busy area. It quietly tucked away to provide peace and privacy. All the restaurants are nearby, so even if they don't provide breakfast, you have many options outside.

There is no breakfast provided and they do not accept card payment. This is where my confusion happened as the payment never went through and I was asked to pay at the hotel. Hotel should clearly mention this on the app.

A great place to stay. The room was clean and had a patio door leading to a rooftop balcony. A/c was great and bed was clean and comfy. It is located in amongst the little lanes of Phi Phi and while you can hear some of the night time activity, it is more distant than most places would be as JJ Residence is towards the end of a quieter lane. We slept well. The pool was brilliantly clean and well maintained.

All was good.

The location was perfect, just 200m from the harbor and beach, making it convenient for boat trips to the Phi Phi Islands. Despite being in the heart of the town, we enjoyed privacy. The hotel's proximity to shops and restaurants was a convenient bonus. Having a pool right outside our room was a great addition to our experience. All of this, coupled with an excellent price, made our stay truly enjoyable."

When it comes to water pressure, it was on the weaker side, but this is not uncommon in Thailand.

Great location only a 5 minute straight walk from the pier and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice small pool but very close to the beach to use the sea. Large sized rooms and a decent size balcony.

The staff we not very helpful when we asked for recommendations or had questions about the room.

Beautiful pool, the front desk lady is so sweet and helped with everything and made it so easy to check in. The housekeeping was on top of everything, we had fresh towels, waters and coffee left outside of the door every afternoon even if we didn’t have the clean room sign up - which is a nice change as we always have to go looking for those necessities at other hotels. Thank you all staff at JJ residence! It looks like they are upgrading some things around the property and can’t wait to come back one day to see how great it looks!
