This place is incredible, the family make it so. They work constantly with a smile to give visitors a great stay. Rooms were cleaned, properly cleaned every day with washing the floor, immaculate. Pool was also spotless, a lovely long pool with ample loungers around. We had no issues finding seating. Pool service food and drinks really lovely touch. A short up hill walk to st Gimo, the hotel offer a daytime shuttle, foc:) The restaurant was incredible, we ate such fantastic food. Thinking of returning soon.. we never go back but this place is special. Thank-you❤️ ps saffron and ham pasta.. oooo amazing!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Sovestro.One of the highlights of my experience was the exceptional room service. The staff was prompt, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every request was met with efficiency and professionalism. What impressed me most was the cleanliness and attention to detail. The room was spotless, and the services provided maintained this standard throughout our stay. Whether it was fresh towels, deliciously prepared meals, or thoughtful amenities, everything was delivered with care and precision. I genuinely appreciated the commitment to making guests feel welcome and valued. I highly recommend Hotel Sovestro to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and outstanding service. The location was also great.

If you are looking for a clean, budget friendly hotel to stay near San Gimignano, this is a good choice. The rooms are basic, but efficient. The pool was open and people were enjoying it. .

The wifi was requesting I log in with a soclial media outlet and password. I did find a way to get wifi without giving personal data, but it was not easy. The restaurant was closed on arrival and there are no other choices to dine except in San Gimignano. If you do not have a car, there are no shuttles at night. They did make a basic pizza and delivered it to the room. usually the restaurtant is closed on Thursdays for future planning for guests.

The property is beautiful! Just what you would imagine Tuscany to look like. Olive trees, grape vines, Italian Cyprus trees and amazing views from everywhere! And San Gimignano is just up the road 🤗

There was nothing we did not like about the property. You are in the country so keep that in mind. Thats why we loved it. This place is very comfortable to navigate and they have a restaurant on sight and wonderful breakfast every morning on the big restaurant patio that overlooks the property. And for those who like to hike/walk there is a path on the property that leads to San Gimignano.

The location is beautiful and very practical for travelling to various cities or towns. It was also relatively peaceful. The grounds on the hotel were very well maintained. The staff were very helpful. The level of cleanliness was very high.

The beds were quite uncomfortable. There weren’t enough hot options for breakfast, but that could be because the hotel mostly offers a continental breakfast.

The location is fantastic, conveniently close to San Gemingnao. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, showing great attention to detail throughout the property. The staff were courteous and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing restaurant annexed to the hotel—the food was exceptional and the ambiance made every meal special. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location is exceptional (especially as a "base" for touring Tuscany), breakfast was ok, the hotel and the rooms were very clean. Staff was nice and very helpful, although we had a hard time communicating in English (at the hotel restaurant mostly). Restaurant food was great as well as their local wine. Garden and hotel grounds are well maintained and beautiful but the proximity to a busy road takes away the feeling of being in nature.

The bedding set and the pillows made sleep very uncomfortable. The furniture was old and made a lot of noises (doors as well). Shower door kept hitting the bathroom door if you weren't careful when exiting the shower (thought it will break a couple of times since it is a glass door). Small details like these can make a difference when you think about value for money.

We loved this hotel. It was very picturesque, with a great pool and good rooms. We had a garden terrace which had lovely views. The breakfasts were amazing on the terrace, great selection of food and the freshly squeezed orange juice was probably the best we had ever tasted. During our stay a day time shuttle service was offered into San Gimignano which we found helpful but it is also possible to walk.

The walk to San Ginignano was a bit longer than we anticipated but the hotel is still in a great location. If walking back in the dark I'd suggest a torch!

Hotel Solvestro had the best breakfast spread out of all of our stays. It was relieving to have so many options to choose from to start our day. The location was fantastic as it was either a five minute drive or a 30 minute beautiful, scenic walk into town. The compound offers two pools which were wonderful to relax at and recharge. It has a gym to workout in and stretch to help combat travel aches. We also were delighted to eat at the restaurant at the hotel with delicious local dishes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. This is a great place to stay overall in Tuscany as it allows day trips to all of Tuscany’s treasures.

Lovely decor and pool area. Beautiful plants. Breakfasts included were very good. Beautiful walk to San Gimignano. Laura was helpful. The gentleman that provided us service by the pool was very friendly and efficient

For early risers , coffee at 7:30 am is a bit hard. We wish there was tea and coffee access evening and mornings. Whether it’s a coffee maker in the room or in the large lobby area. Take away from restaurant would be convenient. Thursdays be aware the restaurant is closed. So you must travel to to town to eat.
