The location was excellent. The room was simply furnished. The towels were very nice and the bedding was comfortable. There were electric blankets on the bed. Wifi was provided and there were many tv viewing options. I had a microwave, a toaster, kettle and a small fridge. I could park right outside my door.

It took quite a while for the hot water to run in the shower - about 5 minutes on the second morning. Once it got running though, the shower was very nice.

We didn't know about the breakfast?? No one mentioned that. We had our own toast in the room. Room design was well thought out, small but functional. Room was easily warmed. Great to have restaurant on premises. Walking distance to IGA, town.

They had no bowls for breakfast cereal . TV took up space on bench. It would have been better to be wall mounted and forget the mirror. Electric blanket didn't work.

Right in the middle of town with supermarket across the road. East walk to the train station and the fantastic Galley Museum!

Lots of noisy workmen hanging around outside talking and smoking. Also, I didn’t see any staff members. Key was left in door and a sign on reception door to tell me which room - and I arrived not long after check in time so not sure where everyone was. Didn’t know what to do the following morning so just left key in the door and left - no info/guidance as to what to do with keys upon checking out.

The staff was great they returned my email, and said that the mistake I booking is a common one

Booking.com thru this listing in the mix when I googled motels Queenstown NZ. ( not Tasmania) shame on booking.com, this is not the first time they have screwed me like this. Hope to never use them again.

Comfortable bed, and it was nice and warm. The lady at reception even allowed us to park our bikes under cover, which was greatly appreciated

The soap in the shower was empty even though the lady had just finished cleaning the room. It's not a big deal, just some feedback.

The room was warm when we arrived, heating was great in Tassie winter. Room service was sparkling clean,.excellent job. Superb location, literally only steps away from anything.

The flimsy and cold, wet shower curtain sticking to you when in the narrow shower space. Nothing fits, not a cup, a kettle, not a palm fits under the tap in the new impractical washbasin design.

Great location in the centre of town. The room had everything you need including a microwave which was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and shower was hot. Little dated but clean and comfy. What more can you ask for!

For the price we paid we did not expect luxury. The room had all the essentials and was close to town.

The room was adequate but lacked some things which would have made it more comfortable. When we arrived it was unbearably hot in the room. There were no flyscreens and ba lot of flies and it was difficult to cool the room down. Initially when we arrived our booking had been mixed u so it took a while to sort things out but the person who had made the booking was very helpful.

The staff facilitated our late check-in, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, sustainable products were available for our use, and it's walking distance to the pub, the lookout, the railway and everything else we were interested in!

Location in town made it easy to walk around. Room was clean, bed was comfy, not much more to ask for.

Unfortunately the motel restaurant was not open the day we were there. Only open on certain days.
