It was very quite and peaceful.

Not all of their restaurants were open making choices very limited and since it was so far from anything else, it was not a great culinary expereince.

Despite the fact that it is still being built, there was no problem with noise or disturbance. The rooms were spotless and enormous. Having the linked rooms, the kitchen and the huge bathrooms was a fantastic option for us.

It would have been good to have options on the menu for more simple cooked hoest food, not pimped up to sound so special all the time. Not everyone wants to eat fancy food everyday. the tapas bar was no better. On the whole the food was very pricey and over complicated in the retaurants so it helped having the kitchen as we cooked there. the kitchens would benefit from being provided with a cloth or sponge and some dish soap.

The location - the mountain and golf course scenery was stunning The breakfast - varied/delicious and plentiful The gym - super sleek got most equipment The pools & sauna (had the sauna to myself each time I visited!!) The planting/landscape (whoever designed this place really put thought into everything) Late breakfast times - sooo nice to not have to rush down for brekki 11am close) The rooms!! Huge and just amazing The level of thought into EVERYTHING If this was their first summer I can’t imagine what it will be like in the future.

No cocktail menu/spirits in main restaurant That we didn’t know there was a festival in Loule whilst we were staying (be good to know about local things so we can pop down!) Signage for gym could be clearer Gym air con could be a lil colder ideally To be honest this place was unreal and we are so happy!

Breakfast was excellent - a wide range options including food cooked to order. Stunning location - views of the hills around the hotel were amazing. Staff were helpful.

The restaurants didn't seem to have the balance quite right. We're more than happy to pay for excellent food and do so regularly in other contexts, though were put off trying the other restaurants on site having eaten one night at the tapas restaurant. Whilst the quality of the food was very good , the portions were ridiculously small - not 'small plates' size - and the price charged for each dish went considerably beyond what might be expected. Hearing other guests expressing similar sentiments re the other options on site ( ie that they were overpriced for the quality /amount of food) we decided to eat out after that.

Beautiful property in a secluded part of the Algarve so great for unwinding and relaxing - the pool and golf were great

We felt that the staff lacked a bit of 5-star training, we asked them for recommendations of activities and they didn’t really provide much (didn’t even tell us they had bikes we could use) we also asked if we could borrow the pool towels to go to the beach and the answer was a plain no. Finally the coffee was really poor even at the cafe on site it was just a Nespresso machine which is such a shame Make sure you have a car to explore surrounding areas

Stunning resort in a fabulous location. The staff (especially the breakfast team) were lovely, nothing was a problem. Breakfast offerings were great. Upgraded to a Deluxe Double Queen Room with Valley Views and it was worth it! Was fabulous to just relax on the terrace looking out over the golf course/valley.

Some of the restaurant dinner offerings could be improved, especially for a 5 star resort. Ate at Case E Fora on our last night and the staff seemed to be packing up around 7pm, when I believe the restaurant should have closed at 8pm. We had hoped for dessert but that didn't happen. The Ombria Kitchen dinner offerings were perhaps not at a 5 star standard for the price. I know the resort is fairly new, so still probably ironing out a few teething problems.

The whole experience was 100% perfect from arrival and check in to every member of staff that we came across, a beautiful place, high standards everywhere and we will be back.

The pool bar could have stayed open later than 6.30pm and you only had a choice of 2 restaurants after 7pm, one of them being the Tapas which had limited fish options and wasn't very appealing. The cafe could have done with being open later and selling charcuterie or cheese boards with wine or more tapas for an additional place to eat in the evening.

Such a beautiful resort, our welcome with the hot towels and lemongrass tisane was lovely. Our room was absolutely beautiful, I loved how you had thought of every little detail to make our stay really comfortable. Loved the wine fridge and the welcome wine and pasteis de nata were much appreciated. The view was stunning. The slippers were the most luxurious ones we've ever had in a hotel. The toiletries smelled wonderful. Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice and the restaurant manager was really welcoming and helpful. The receptionist who checked us in walked us to our room and carried my bag for me and was so helpful in explaining how everything worked. I wish we'd had a ride in the buggy now in hindsight. We loved everything about our stay. We would love to come back again.

We loved our stay at this hotel — it truly felt like home from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The surroundings are stunning, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and very well furnished, with great attention to detail, making our stay extra comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We felt so welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

We loved the modern take on traditional Portuguese design and architecture. It looked like a hilltop village from a distance. Very spacious and comfortable room. The hotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptional and gave great recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again.

Only downside was the spa not being open yet but we knew that when we booked. Also the pools weren’t open but perhaps this was due to bad weather. No other issues at all.
