Where to start !! One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for a while ! Great helpful staff. Lift from car park straight up to the floor of your room, and good EV chargers...they even reserved a charging spot for us. Excellent breakfast with good vegetarian options . Short walk to the harbour. Clean comfy rooms with a lovely deep bath and a clean dog bed and bowls waiting in the room for Monty our dog 🐕 The staff also kindly retrieved our vanity case that we left behind and posted it on for us !!

Nothing to dislike !!!

A nice room though small, it was a little cramped as there was nowhere big enough to put our suitcase. We did not have breakfast as it was expensive. It was nice to have a bath though to step in and out was quite deep.

The air conditioning had broken down so the room was hot and stuffy. We had to have our window open to cool it down but there was quite a bit of noise in the street below at one point during the night. We had heard the air conditioning had been repaired the next day but it was not working in our room. We were not offered anything in recompense.

We have to say that the welcome we received from Louis, at Reception, was exceptional. He was so polite, welcoming, and courteous and made us feel at home instantly. He sorted out our car parking, told us all about the hotel facilities, and even took us over to the lift. A great member of staff. Thank you, Louis.

To be fair, we were in room 129, and the shower head attachment needs a little attention so that it can hold its position independently.

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of La Rochelle town centre and secure onsite parking is available. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a really excellent breakfast choice. Our room was comfortable, quiet and air conditioned. We enjoyed our stay.

The room had a shower over a bath. This is less common nowadays and could be an issue for someone with mobility difficulties. A point worth checking when booking.

Lovely modern hotel, short walking distance to the harbour and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Very comfortable large bed. Friendly and helpful staff

Pillows a little hard, not enough staff at breakfast so we had a long wait for glasses, mugs and plates and for re stock of certain foods. We requested change of towels by placing in bath as indicated but although our bed was made up the towels were not replaced, used mugs were not cleaned and the tissue box remained empty throughout our stay. Air conditioning did not work properly so the room was a little warm for us. These were all very minor points however and I would still recommend the hotel. We had a lovely stay

The hotel has a very peaceful ambience. From the moment we met the receptionist on arrival we began to destress. Everything flowed from then on. The reception area is beautifully designed , with a range of seating areas and a bar area. The rooms were modern but relaxed, pristine clean, with beautiful up to date bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb. Above all else was the kindness of staff and the genuine ease with which they assisted us throughout our stay. We would have stayed longer if we could and would love to return in the future.

There is nothing we would change. We were sure that if we needed anything it would have been sorted.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Overall a best western premium experience. Breakfast had hiqh quality stuff. Location is not far from the tourist attractions- like 500 meters. Very nice bathroom with tube in our room.

Bed was little small- 160 cm double bed. Could be 180 cm- would have cost them little extra but might have been space constraints.

Room was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We'd been driving all day, and it was such a relief to find a good hotel, with a spotlessly clean room, with extra pillows, plenty of towels and one of the comfiest beds we've slept in. Although not in the town centre - this is actually a blessing - since the town's vibrant nightlife was was quite noisy. We stayed one night, but would have been happy with longer. The hotel also provided secure parking.

We felt €14 each for a coffee and pastry at breakfast was a little expensive, so we passed on that. The hotel location was a bit bland, and devoid of any shops or cafes or places of interest - but the benefits of a quiet night outweighed the negatives of a bad nights sleep.

Great hotel. Well equipped rooms with kettle, tea selection and coffee machine, also offering sometime necessary little things like shoe polish. Located near the train station but in a very quiet neighbourhood

Breakfast may seem expensive as it offers quite standard selection of food except for oysters and sparkling wine

We stayed here with our two teenage girls who had the bedroom next door . The location is excellent very close to the station and a short stroll to the centre. Staff were great to arrange a taxi for us to the airport the following day . Bedrooms were spotlessly clean and very comfy mattresses. I will return here for the perfect location and comfortable rooms.

The cost of breakfast - 20 euro per person but that’s probably normal enough
