A highly original hotel, which isn't your 'average' hotel. A place to chill, relax, spend time with family and friends, welcoming for all ages. Wonderful, friendly staff with a perfect blend of a friendly welcome, attentiveness and professionalism. If you're looking for somewhere a little different, this is it, if you're looking for somewhere that doesn't feel like a hotel, look no further. Lovely, spacious rooms, many with a balcony with a view over the river. Very comfortable beds, for a good night's sleep: ) Thank you to all the staff who made my stay most enjoyable.

As it is in the Confluence area, it may be a little further out of the town centre. However, not a problem as there are plenty of transport facilities - bus and a tram nearby too, with a bus stop a few steps away from the hotel entrance.

Another review panned this hotel as being for Millennials. While I agree that's clearly the target market, as a 63 YO baby boomer I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean, comfortable and very quiet (and dark for sleeping). Great shower. And a lovely luxury to have a small balcony to sit and enjoy the evening (or morning) air. A/C worked very well when it was 34C/94F outside. As an unexpected added bonus, I partook in the onsite evening activities during my weekend stay: a music trivia contest one night, and a drag show on the terrace the next. As a solo traveler I welcomed the opportunity to be around other people and enjoy fun activities. The library and terrace are much nicer areas to hang out and relax than one typically finds in a hotel; felt very home-y and relaxed. One night I ate dinner in the restaurant and my salmon filet with veggies was tasty, and the price reasonable (i.e. not artificially high because it was onsite). The hotel was easy to get to by public transportation (tram stop 5 min walk) and very convenient to go to the Confluence museum.

There are no other businesses or places to eat within close walking distance. You have to walk about 15 min either direction. Wasn't a big deal for me, but when it was 90F+ outside it would've been nice to have something closer. There was no place to put one's luggage in the room other than the floor, where it was kind of in the way. Some of the decor was too self-consciously hip and precious for my taste (do people really buy the MOB-labeled merch for sale in the lobby?) but easy enough to look past.

We had a great stay at MOB HOTEL Lyon Confluence. The breakfast was excellent – organic, fresh, and had everything we needed to start the day right. The white wine at the bar was also a pleasant surprise – really good quality. Our room was spacious, the staff was extremely helpful, and the overall vibe and design of the hotel were unique and stylish in a very good way. The only downside was the distance to the public parking garage. There are some spots directly in front of the hotel, but they didn’t feel secure enough for us. Still, this didn’t take away from the great experience – we’d happily stay here again.

Very welcoming hotel with a great restaurant on the ground floor. Extremely comfortable bed! Clean room. Bus stop 2 minute walk away into town or short 15-20 min walk to tram/train.

Only thing missing from the room was an area to make tea/coffee. Ironing room on the 3rd floor which was great but the iron is chained and restricts actually being able to use it/ also no water in the iron - just something very little! Parking - just to note it is very expensive to park in Lyon, something we hadn’t checked and we were there for 4 days with our car. We managed to find some free parking on some land but were advised by hotel staff that it’s safer to park in the secure parking nearby.

It looked better in real life than the photos. This was extra great because we were switching hotels after the opposite just happened at another hotel. The staff was very nice and did everything to help us. It’s located in a relatively quiet area near the river. Our room had a peaceful balcony that overlooked said river and it was very relaxing. After a long day of travel to get there, it was a nice clean room to settle into. We asked for extra towels and by the time we were walking up to our room, a staff member was there handing us towels.

Our booking did not include breakfast, but the option to do that is available. It’s cheaper if you get that package in your booking and I would recommend doing that because the cost of it as an extra is not really worth what you get. It was okay, but it was mostly breads. I enjoy a good egg in the morning. This is really such a minor issue and the only thing I didn’t like that much.

Room was nice with a big nice shower with soap, shampoo & towels galore and a huge Smeg Frig but empty :( Beds and Linen were very nice and comfy and very cool cushions and decor. No charge for our dog as well :)

Maybe a Nespresso Machine would be nice and perhaps a complementary bottle of water would be nice? Parking was a bit of a mission too but do-able.

We loved being here by the river so peaceful but with an organic lively friendly all day opening cafe to come home to. Beds so comfortable that we overslept breakfast the first day ! Reception staff so welcoming and supportive. Cafe did its uttermost to make sure my gluten free child was served the most delicious alternatives. We planned trips to the Roman museum and specific destinations in Lyon .Ubers were swift and helpful , and returning ‘ home’ a wonderful point of the day .

-lEverything was fine. Maybe a small hick-up was that I had forgotten my credit card to use for the guaranty but the receptionist said credit card snd bank card were the same. I was not sure but gave my card and my card was declined twice until the manager clarified for them that my card was not a credit card. I fid not like this confusion. This was not a big issue at all and they were hospitable. Just that such confusions are not really something I want my time wasted on.

Nice modern hotel, 5min walk from the office. Simple rooms, decorated in a "factory"/"modern loft" style. Note that there is not TV in the rooms (I don't care for it, hence not in the dislikes). Nice views on the riverside (not so much on the train track side). Squeaky clean. Friendly staff.

Room prices fluctuate a LOT. Anything above 150€ is, in my opinion, overpriced. Breakfast is expensive and the buffet is pretty small - I'm totally OK with a smaller array of food to avoid waste, but it should be priced accordingly. Restaurant is okay - Italian food - but again a bit overpriced. Not too many other dining options around.

Near the T1 tram line and Museum de Confluence. Modern, clean, and funky vibe. Great staff. Restaurant was efficient and had good food. AC was nice and cold! Bed was really comfortable. Price was reasonable. I would stay here again, but anyone besides a solo traveler might struggle with the rooms.

The room was small, which I'm totally fine with if it's designed well (I'm a huge fan of Citizen M's tiny rooms). There was no place for a suitcase (or even a backpack) except on the tiny desk. No nightstands. The lighting was almost non-existent at the desk and the bathroom was under lit. The worst bit was the noise from the neighboring doors closing super loudly, especially when housekeeping starts cleaning. I'm glad I was only here two nights and only had a backpack or the room would have been a challenge.
