Pretty hard to fault this one…. Stuart is a wonderful host who makes the most amazing breakfasts and goes out of his way to help make dinner reservations, find onward travel accomodation for guests and itinerary improvements if needed. A polite and respectful owner in a wonderfully appointed B&B. The rooms are warm, well appointed and beautifully clean. Pretty much half way between Stirling city centre and Bridge of Allan, this is a wonderful find. I would be hard pushed to beat this one and look forward to returning. Thanks Stuart. Take care.
1. I couldn’t stay longer because he was already booked! 2. The fact that more people will find this gem and it’ll be hard to book in the future!!!

One of the best guesthouses I've stayed at. Stuart was a great host and gave helpful suggestions for where to walk and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and I loved the ability to choose amounts to limit waste. Products and toiletries were high quality, bed was very comfortable, and location is right between all the places you want to visit--nice, short walk to the centre of town, restaurants, university and Bridge of Allan, plus a well-stocked grocery store just down the street if you don't want to eat out every day. Loved that there is a small fridge in the hallway for guests to keep their food. Next time I visit Scotland, I will definitely stay here and do day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and other regions by train. Stirling was beautiful.

Wow wow and wow, what an outstanding guesthouse, and Stuart is a fantastic host. What a stunning and well-presented place to stay between the Castle and the Wallace monument. 10 out of 10 the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful, cozy, friendly, very clean & modern and also nicely decorated. Our room was cozy with beautiful modern Ensuite. The breakfast was out of this world, you had a choice of: homemade bread & Scones (it smelt beautiful when you were baking 😉) yoghurts, fresh fruit, jams and much more to a complete Scottish breakfast; all it is cooked in the morning with a order. Getting into town is very convenient as well. It costs around £5 to get into the town centre from Ravenswood Guest House by cab. Otherwise there are plenty of busses on the same street, which is £2.25 for a single ticket. You can also walk. We can't recommend this place highly enough. 5 Stars isn't enough to rate this wonderful Guest House. We must say, that Stuart is very attentive, seeming we had an early flight he made us both a packed lunch to take with us 😊 Thankyou Stuart for the great hospitality, big hugs from Germany Anastasija & Rima

The breakfasts were generous and hot choices were served on heated plates. The wee Scottish breakfast was substantial. The big Scottish breakfast would be a challenge but would set you up for energetic activities🙂 Maybe Eggs Benedict to savour Scottish smoked salmon would be a nice addition. Stuart was an affable and interesting host, who provided useful insights on what to see in Stirling and Scotland in general.

I absolutely loved staying at Ravenswood - I was travelling to Stirling for an academic conference, and the guest house made for the perfect place to come back to at the end of a long day. Stuart was a great host, cooked delicious breakfasts and passed along helpful advice about the area. I would absolutely come again, and have already recommended to friends!

Stuart was very helpful from the beginning. He suggested us cool pubs and restaurants, gave info about castles and the city itself. He customizes breakfast how guests like, everything super delicious. Guest house is clean, comfy and very stylish. Last and most important, he helped me to propose my gf. Gave us great memories, strongly recommended. We'll definitely come back.

Stuart is a friendly and helpful host and excellent cook as well. It was a nice change for us to stay in a B&B instead of our own self-catering apartment. We enjoyed the wonderful custom hot breakfasts including Stuart’s own delicious brown bread and he provided a wealth of helpful local information to enhance our stay. We’re road cyclists and he’s a cyclist too and recommended a very special ride to us that was beautiful and memorable. It’s a healthy but pleasant walk (about 1.6 km to the center of town) but there is a bus stop nearby and there is paid public parking in town closer to Stirling Castle if you have a vehicle. The Wallace National Monument is near to the Ravenswood Guest House too. Our room had a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom and Smart TV and good Wifi and I’m the hallway there was a shared refrigerator where you could store drinks and snacks or donate to take one of the provided drinks already in the refrigerator.
If you have any mobility issues, note that the rooms are one flight up from the entrance and dining room. Stuart helped us carry our luggage upstairs which was greatly appreciated.

Stuart runs a fantastic B&B, I cannot fault it in any way. He is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all things to see and visit. He makes great recommendations about what to do and even which route to get there etc. His breakfasts are great, top quality. The rooms are well equipped, clean and tidy and cleaned on a daily basis. I cannot find fault with anything. Top place to stay.

Stuart is such a nice warm, friendly and helpful guy. We immediately felt at home. Never got tired of our many questions for tips and directions and gave us quite a few good ones as well. Made restaurant reservations for us, made sure our chocolates were refilled in the room each day and even made a very early breakfast for us on the day we left. He goes all the way to make you feel most welcome. Breakfast is all you can imagine and his home baked brown bread is delicious! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless clean.
Absolutely nothing!

We were in Scotland for nearly a month and this was my favorite stay. Stuart made every effort to attend to needs which is particularly appreciated with we older travelers. The guest house is conveniently located, beautifully decorated and maintained. Stuart advised us on restaurants and scenic areas, was fun, open and kind. You just couldn't ask for a better host, cooking delicious breakfasts each day we were there, even serving us in our room when my husband wasn't feeling well enough to come to the dining table
Just the bedside lamps. I like brighter higher lamps for reading. A small thing.
