Really nice hotel and hostel. Had a really great atmosphere, very cosy and felt welcoming for a group with different ages even though it had a bar. Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of vegetarian options which was great. Affordable bar in the evening too. We had a lovely welcome from the staff after we arrived after a very long and delayed journey and discovered our rooms had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend this and stay here again.

Hotel is maybe not the most convenient location and didn’t feel central however public transport very close by. It’s also on a fairly busy road and there’s not many restaurants or other facilities nearby but not a major flaw.

I had a wonderful stay at Superbude! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcome from the very first moment. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt bored or out of place. A special thanks to Romina, who kindly helped me with the TV in my room – her support truly made my stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. If I ever come back to Hamburg, I’ll definitely stay at Superbude again. Also, I really appreciated the breakfast options and, of course, the amazing beers! Thank you as well for the two beers I tried on my last evening – they were a perfect way to end my trip. Thanks to all of you, I had a fun, relaxing holiday without a single dull moment.

Really friendly staff, clearly very well drilled in customer service. Lovely lounge just by reception with a great selection of snacks and drinks. Location is ideal as well. Just 5 minutes' walk from Berliner Tor and, therefore, the U and S-bahn lines which will take you anywhere you need to go in minutes. There's some good street food to be had there too. You're just a few minutes' walk from some great little cafes, restaurants and bars in St Georg. About 15 minutes' walk from the city centre and all the museums at Speicherstadt. St Pauli is a bit further, but just take the S1 or U3 lines towards Wedel and Blankenese, and you'll be there in a flash

Very minor flaw (more of a suggestion than an actual issue), but it would have been nice to have a wall socket by the desk in the room!

The room was hot due to a short but strong heatwave, the ceiling fan and dark curtains helped a little Breakfast had lots of options, bread rolls were very good and crunchy Missed croissants and pastries, i was especially expecting this at a German breakfast.. :( At night, walking from the station to the hotel, it is a bit dark; with just offices and a few hotels it feels deserted, not nice to walk alone

The room was huge and very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful and ready to give you many recommendations for activities. I ate breakfast and the buffet was one of the best that I had in a hotel even in the way pricier than this one. Vegan/gluten free/vegetarian/lactose free, there is an option for everything and there is even a waffle maker, I 100% recommend breakfast.

If you are coming directly from the train main station the easiest way to go there is probably to walk, not very convenient if you have a lot of luggage. But it's more a public transportation problem than the responsibility of the hotel

Excellent location and great value for money. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a place to leave your luggage before and after check in and check out. Clean and cool decor. The location is great, very close to the tube or to walk to the city centre.

The room had some design details that could be improved (very few plugs and one was hidden with the bed frame / only black-out curtains so either you fully close the blinds and have no outside light or everyone sees you walking around / lights were very dim / there is no fridge or electric kettle) There is no lift, although it was only a first floor room Overall though, totally nice and worth stay.

The staff was wonderful. They were very professional and friendly. The design of the hotel is quite hip. I really liked the soaps they used which is something I never think I would’ve said.

Even though it is only a stop away from the central train station, I felt disconnected from the city a bit. The place felt more suitable for students and budget travelers. Perhaps due to the new years eve, considering there are many other hotels in the vicinity, I felt insecure in the location.

Had a really warm welcome from the desk guy or rather the guy at the bar, the room was comfortable and clean and interestingly decorated. We didn't stay long, left early the next morning. Note, when traveling from the Hbf., don't make the mistake we did and take the U3 to Berliner Tor -- this led to a confusing walk in the dark across a park and along very busy streets. Instead we later found it much easier to take the S3/S5 to and from Hammerbrook station -- a slightly longer walk but a much more straightforward and calmer one. Appreciated the 'no bed for Nazis' on the front door. Would happily stay again.

The coffee in the morning was disappointing. The neighborhood isn't the most interesting or visually appealing but it's well-connected by transportation to the rest of the city and we felt safe walking around

very heavy door to open to access accomodation block. checkin with qr code didnt work. usually booking.com rooms have tea coffeemaking facilities in room (would prefer that to tv!). instead had to go down 5 floors to communal kitchen diner - which was a lovely space

The staff were really helpful and the facilities provided in the common areas are fabulous. You can use the kitchen as long as you keep it clean, they have a big refrigerator where you can put your food and drinks in boxes with your room number on, they even have a laundry room which we didn't use but I thought it was useful for those who need it.

The rooms were hot and a bit stifling in the summer. There was a fan but it wasn't enough. The area around the hotel is not very safe at night. There are a lot of homeless people. But it is close to the Berliner Tor stop, which is only two or three stops away from the city centre.
