A lovely clean room, very comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the room. A delicious beautifully cooked full English breakfast and a choice of meals in the evening, again all beautifully cooked. The village is quiet and there are wonderful views of Morecambe Bay. A short drive takes you to Morecambe and Heysham or up into the Lake District. The staff made us very welcome and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

A fantastic pub in a great little village. Good home made food in a lovely atmosphere. We have stayed here a couple of times now and would have stayed there more often if we could have got a room but it always seems to be fully booked when we want to go. The management and staff are hands on and so friendly and helpful. The locals are amazing. You can't walk around the beach or village without everyone saying hello. I would love to live here. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfy. There is plenty of tea & coffee in the rooms. There are several areas to sit and eat or just have a drink in the pub plus plenty of outside seating and tables. They have parking in front of the pub plus a carpark at the side. It's a great place to explore the surrounding areas or just to go walking locally. I love sitting down on the beach watching the sun set. Its so peaceful.

Really friendly place, staff were lovely. The hotel is dog friendly which is why we booked and the room, dining, garden and parking were just great. We ate dinner at the hotel which was tasty and good value. There's a small field nearby which is perfect for dog walks and views over Morecombe Bay, also a coop just a 5 min walk up the road. Morecombe Bay itself is just 2 mins walk. Have to give a special mention for the housekeeper, the room, though a little dated was immaculate. Given that its a dog friendly hotel, there was no dog smell when I walked in. We would definitely stay again should we visit the area.

I felt that Silverdale was understaffed. The girls were all lovely but rushed off their feet. In the evening we wanted dessert after our meal but left it when we couldn't get served. Not the girls fault, just not enough people to go around. Our room was also incredibly hot. I should mention that It was one of the hottest days of the year, however only 1 small window could open. There was a small fan provided but it wasn't really big enough or effective enough to make any difference.

We were welcomed and shown to our room by a very pleasant and competent member of staff. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and clean. Check-out was straight-forward.

Breakfast was offered 'between 0800-0930 at 15 minute intervals' so we booked for 0800 and our choices were made the night before. This should have worked well as we wanted to make an early get-away onto a long drive. However, the staff member who was due to serve us (and cook the breakfast?) only arrived on-site at 0800, so we weren't actually served our hot food until nearly 0830, which delayed our departure past 0900. As it turned out, it didn't seriously affect our day, but what is the point of creating an expectation of an 0800 breakfast when there was seemingly no plan to make that happen?

Everything!! The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. I was late for check in so I rang them and they were brilliant. The restaurant and pub area was lovely, as was the outside garden. Great selection of alcohol, and the food was superb. I recommend the hummus starter and the homemade steak pie. It actually made me emotional. The breakfast was even better. Possibly the greatest sausage in the history of sausages! The sea front was literally a 90 seconds walk. Stunning place 😍 Plenty of car parking. The bedroom, bed, shower and room facilities were honestly first class. So comfy and clean. The fan in the wardrobe was a great find with the hot weather. Honestly, I can't sing this hotels praises enough. Superb 👌

Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are so friendly, dogs are also made to feel welcome and they are allowed with you almost all over the hotel except for one area, which meant we could eat and still have our doggy with us, the location is a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas

The menu was limited however what was on there was amazing, we stayed for a week and to be faced with the same everyday was a little monotonous, we would have loved a curry or chilli and some specials to choose from….however the food was exceptional good

Room was clean and comfortable and equipped with an en-suite shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our belongings in the hotel for the day after checking out so that we could enjoy the local area without having to carry all of our stuff. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and enjoyed both. The location of the hotel is superb. We arrived by train with medium-sized rucksacks and walked around 30 minutes through a lovely woodland and through the village to reach the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Silverdale Hotel as a place to stay.

I have no major concerns with the hotel. I only would have loved to have had a bath in our room.

The Silverdale Hotel is a little gem. The pictures on Booking.com don’t do it justice. Many times I have flicked past it when looking to book. The hotel is lovely, very cute, nothing fancy but just a lovely, clean pub hotel with everything you need. The food is fabulous, we had a roast dinner and one of the pies. Best pies we’ve ever had!! Breakfast excellent, restaurant again spotless clean and good traditional pub feel. The staff are what really makes this hotel, so welcoming and friendly, gives the place a lovely feel. Made our dogs welcome which is also a huge plus for us. Already booked again. Would recommend to anyone 😊

Very tranquil. Garden was beautiful .Hotel was well decorated and divided into cosy areas. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Evening meals were very good, particularly the bome made pies. Butter and jams in open pots rather than butter sachets and individual jars were a welcome touch

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Scrambled eggs are not available and the poached eggs were not great. It would have been good to have more variety of cold food, particularly fresh fruit and fresh yoghurt.. Howevet, having pre-booked breakfast time slots meant that the breatfast room was quiet

The restaurant isn't open on Monday evenings. I wish I had known this when booking. There was an Indian Restaurant open in the village fortunately so we dined there ... otherwise we would have had to make do with what we could buy in the village Co-op shop. Also the shower in the room (Room 6) was too hot to use. ?Thermostat broken? So hot it was dangerous. Reported to staff at breakfast. If it isn't broken perhaps staff need to leave instructions in room on how to adjust heat settings. There were two of us in the room and neither of us could manage to adjust the heat.
