Great quality furniture and amenities, little touches such as minibar and face cloths, super clean room, bathroom seemed new with beautiful tiles and tapware etc, really friendly front desk lady and cute table out front where my son liked to sit and read and eat snacks

Bit of a noisy street even at night but lots of motels are along that stretch. Tv and remote was a bit temperamental but some patience with it and we managed to find the right channels. That’s just nitpicking though

Nice location not far from 2 big shopping centres by car, nice and private in the parking area, The manager was very friendly, she made the check in very welcoming. The room was very bright, roomy & comfortable. Lovely little extra touches made it special. Exceptionally clean, & had a wonderful stay & 2 good night sleeps. We ordered Breakfast which looked & tasted delicious, won’t hesitate to recommend to family & friends & will definitely stay at Roydons Motor Inn when we get back to Tamworth again.

We spent two nights at the Roydon Motor Inn 8 to 10 November 2024. We stayed in a Superior room and found it to be clean and well presented. The bathroom appears to have been recently renovated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The Roydon was certainly value for money, and we would stay there again.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We were travelling with other family members who also stayed at the Roydon. It was a central location to explore Tamworth from.

Good sized clean room. Good sized TV and several mirrors. Good quality carpet and good sized fridge. Lots of bench space. Shower cubicle large and plenty of hot water. Not too far to drive to clubs and restaurants.

Cramped in the bathroom outside the shower. There was a soap holder but no shelf for shampoo etc - these had to go on the floor. No bedside reading lights, only ceiling lights. A little noisy being right on the highway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roydons. It is a small, safe complex with lovely helpful staff. The room was compact but well laid out. Couch plus table with two chairs. Comfortable bed. Great lighting. Good wifi. Microwave, cutlery & crockery and good sized bar fridge. Peaceful (just a few rooms) Parking at the door. Ground floor. Clearly the owners are maintaining & renovating the site really well and care for the motel. We definitely recommend.

Bathroom is small but manageable

Excellent value for money and bonus PET FRIENDLY good location, room was a good size and very clean and welcoming, I was able to sit outside my room with my dog tied to the rail and enjoy the afternoon and evening. easy access to park to run the exuberant border collie,friendly professional staff. Really nice little motel..

I would only say that no screen doors on the rooms meant that you couldn't leave the door open for fresh air which is a shame. No water in fridge to have a nice cold drink on arrival. No USB at power point which would be very helpful..( especially as silly me forgot mine!!)

The property was very clean with quality linen and towels, along with good TV options. As I was checking in, I was impressed to notice that staff had made arrangements for another couple, checking in just ahead of me, to stay in an upgraded room, because the previous guest had been smoking in the room assigned to them. Not every hotel would be so proactive to ensure guest comfort and I thought it reflected very well on Roydons Motor Inn.

I had some problems using the wifi (resolved with the willing assistance of staff).

We were transiting from ACT to QLD and although only stayed one night, enjoyed the rest at Roydons. Gorgeous interactions via email and face to face with the front of house team. Room was clean, comfortable and pet friendly. Grateful for an easy check in and check out process especially with long travel days on the road with pets.

Some residual noise permeates through the door/walls, but when you’re tired, you’ll sleep anyway.

Everything. The room was amazing. I'd stayed here before but not in this superior queen. What a delightful room. Everything you could imagine was available. The friendly lady who welcomed me was a treat after such a long, tiring day of driving and working. Checkin was seamless and very efficient. My additional request for products to be placed in my room had been promptly addressed even before I had arrived! "Perfect." There was a lovely clean table and chairs set just out the front of my room. It's a nice, convenient spot to unwind with a wine. Upon opening the door to my room, I was greeted with a nice fresh scent and beautiful decor. The cleaniness was impeccable. The layout of the room was quite functional. There were loads of cupboard and bench space, power points, dimer downlights near your bed, USB points near the bed, gorgeous linen, and the medium-sized fridge being a real bonus The bathroom had towel hooks, towel rack, power point, and a spacious shower with an adjustable shower head and functional shelf - this is something every shower in a Motel should have, just to hold your toiletries. Whoever designed the renovations should be commended. Everything had been thought through for functionality. It was such a pleasure to stay there. This will be my go-to accommodation when staying in

Leaving!

The room was very clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were friendly and the best thing was that our 2 doggies were welcome to stay and there was a huge dog park just down the road.

People should only be allowed to park directly in front of their allocated room. Guests were parking anywhere which meant we had to walk 3 or 4 doors down to unload and load the car. Not a big issue, but would have been more convenient to have the car in our allocated space.
