The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable, making for a great stay. The staff is incredibly patient and kind, ensuring a welcoming experience. The hotel also features a beautiful ballroom and well-equipped meeting rooms. Plus, there's plenty of food and entertainment just a short walk away!

The location seems to accommodate several long-term guests, some of whom may be facing personal challenges. I did notice a few individuals in the parking lot who appeared to be under the influence and possibly staying in or near their vehicles. A police cruiser patrolled the area approximately every half hour, which helped maintain a sense of security.

Breakfast was great, you had something for anyone. (Almond milk, gluten free bread, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, assorted bread products). Thank you!

We had some noisy neighbors Friday night. The other nights were peaceful. It took us a bit to figure out the heater (adjust the blower speed just past the temperature adjuster- perhaps a note to guests would help). The big sign wasn’t lit, so in the fog it was difficult to see where to go.

Location was great. Good access to green spaces nearby for my dog. Loads of free parking.

Boise was having unusually hot temps during my stay. The first night it seemed the A/C in my room wasn’t working. Front desk attendant explained it was an older building and gave me a box fan for my room. Sadly, it was an uncomfortable, sleepless night. The next morning, I happened to rake a look at the AC vent and filter and saw that they were beyond clogged! I explained this to the front desk attendant and she had maintenance go in and clean the vent and replace the filter. Problem solved! Super cool in the room for the rest of my stay. Would suggest this is something that should have been maintained on a regular schedule.

The room was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in Coffee Garden was great - strong, hardy coffee. At one point during my stay I needed to print a couple documents, and the office center exceeded my expectations with free printouts.

I would prefer a secured WiFi network over the current unsecured network. Due to security requirements in my current freelance job, I wasn't able to use the unsecured network for my work needs (and I just used my iPhone hotspot). Although I am sure there are a lot of people who would prefer the no-password-required network because it is easier.

Window on the balcony literally looked like is what covered in a seman-like residue. $7 for the world’s shittiest breakfast is OUTLANDISH. And the pool being closed is just bummer. Staff was spectacular, BEST HOTEL EMPLOYEES AND STAFF IVE EVER INTERACTED WITH. PAY THEM MORE DAMNIT. But seriously it was BEYOND DISGUSTING to see the balcony window was covered in a seman-like substance. BATHROOM DOOR DOES NOT EVEN CLOSE ALL THE WAY LET ALONE LOCK! Tf is wrong with y’all?

The room was very spacious, and the bed/pillows were incredibly comfy. They included toiletries, coffee, and a mini fridge in the room. We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast, but it was set up/ provided and we saw guests doing so. Close to many shops and restaurants, but unless you have plenty of time to spare, traversing to downtown on foot would not be doable. Luckily, it was a short drive from the hotel.

Some of the lights in our room didn't work. It didn't bother us much since there were plenty of lighting options in the room, but they were details of the slight disrepair in the hotel. The mini fridge's ice box had accumulated so much freezer burn/ice from frequent defrosting and refreezing that it prevented the door from actually closing. This made the mini fridge basically pointless. Another reviewer said it best: you can tell that this hotel was at once very grand, and in many ways, it still is. but for the most part, it shows its age. still, a GREAT stay (we were very pleased and comfortable, which was a total 180* from our last place on the road)

The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure. I also like the Netflix option on the TV. The balcony was nice to walk out on and get some fresh air. I also liked the sink outside the bathroom I was able to brush my teeth while someone else was in the shower.

I did not like that I had to sign saying that I would not smoke anything in the room and we walk in and my son finds a vape bar in the bathroom and when I take it to the front desk and give it to the lady she said sorry it belongs to one of the girls. So you want a smoke free hotel but your staff is vapeing In the rooms while they clean. The door was also hard to open and close.

great location of the room, big bed, nice amenities, and breakfast was good

bathroom vanity had a dim bulb and a bulb that was burned out. I could not find a fan to vent away the steam from showers. Floor trim around the bathroom and toilet were very dirty, running a damp towel around those areas revealed a lot of dirt/debris. Desk had debris. Outside bathroom vanity had to burnt out bulbs. very strong chlorine smell in the room when I arrived. I could not get the heater and fan to work appropriately

Went for New Years. We were hoping to see the fireworks from the balcony. Our daughter was with us and we wanted to stay safe and warm. The guy that checked us in, took his time and put us in the best room possible up on the 7th floor facing the city! It was perfect! It's such a historic building and the rooms are nice, room was clean and bed was so comfortable.

Still needs a few updates like the showers, carpets in the hallways, and the thermostats. The rooms are very nice though

It was located close to our activities. We liked having a balcony and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all very nice and we were offered free breakfast this day.

Our room was behind the elevator wall, so not as quiet as we’d like. When running the shower, rusty water came from the faucet, but only at first. Some furniture showed wear, but everything was clean looking.
