Amazing views from the 80th floor reception area and the rooms. Ours was on floor 75. There was also a fantastic spa pool and gym. Staff were friendly courteous and went out of their way to help.

Som quibbles: Room service menu was lacklustre and the food was not great. Both for dinner and for breakfast in the room. Pool needed controls on use by children. Eg not before 9.30am. Children used the pool at any time of day and this was not helpful for serious swimmers wanting a morning exercise. The lockers in the changing rooms did not really work. Many were reserved for the spa and others just didn’t work properly. This is absolutely not good enough.

I had an amazing experience dining at Atria for dinner – the food was absolutely delicious, and the views were simply breathtaking! Our room was incredibly spacious, with stunning views, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel's location was fantastic. The gym was really clean, and equipped with high-quality equipment. The pools were equally impressive, offering amazing views. Finally, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, which added to the overall wonderful experience.

The only aspect I didn’t enjoy as much was having to take one lift to the lobby and then another to reach our room, which felt a bit inconvenient.

The hotel staff are exceptionally nice and welcoming, we stayed 6 nights together with our kid. A baby crib was arranged in advance before we arrived the room. Room is spacious with spectaculars river/habour view. We tried their in-room dining, canteen and lounge bar on 80/F and their swimming pool, everything is perfect especially their in-room dining service. If i have to point out one thing that is less enjoyable, it is their canteen staff…. We went their for breakfast for 2-3 times during our stay, there seem have quite a few trainees serving clients, they can’t understand or take our order accurately, they missed orders and gave me impression of disordered.. It’s okay to give trainees on-site working experience, but better to be supervised by experienced staff to prevent giving customers unenjoyable experience.

Fantastic staff with customer services front of mind. Truly incredible views of Melbourne from the 80th floor where you check in, relax in the lounge bar or have dinner / breakfast. The rooms are a good size and have a luxurious feel. I highly recommend booking a room with a view so you are not disappointed. Its worth the extra to get the WOW view.

The breakfast is 'buffet' is ordinary with a very strong smell of cheese wafting across the breakfast fruit and cereals. The cooked breakfast is very nice. The pillows are very flat. A pillow menu would be a good addition. The lighting in the bathroom / vanity desk / wardrobe area is way too dark. At minimum a wall mounted, magnifying mirror that is has lighting should be standard for a hotel such as this. It is a nightmare trying to apply makeup.

The view is exceptional and staff are generally excellent, particularly Renee and Ralph. It is a beautiful hotel with customer service front of mind. The rooms are a good size with a design attention-to-detail that gives a luxe feel. The robes are glorious (I bought one). Dinner in the ‘bar lobby’ is excellent.

The buffet is very ordinary and not close to high-end international standards. We travel a lot and found it underwhelming in comparison to other experiences. Also having ‘smelly cheese’ close to the fruit and cereal is unpleasant. The pillows are very flat even for me as I generally like a low loft pillow. A pillow menu would be good. The lighting in the bathrooms and vanity mirror is hopeless if you like to wear makeup. I would have expected a wall mounted, magnifying mirror that lights up. This is fairly standard in 5star hotels.

The room was lovely, good size for a hotel room and the facilities are first class. Drinks and Canapes on level 80 is a must do. All the staff were wonderful, very friendly and accomodating and go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember.

For a first time guest checking in at 11pm on a bitterly cold Melbourne evening, it was difficult to find the entrance to the building. The main doors are enormous but they were closed, presumably because it was so cold. And there was no real signage as to where the front entrance actually is. As such, we walked into a residential building by mistake. It was soon rectified after a quick phone call to the hotel but just not obvious if you're a first time guest and have an after hours check-in. We're used to sleeping on a plush soft bed. So we found the hotel beds were a bit too hard for our liking. The indoor pool was not warm enough to swim in on a cold Melbourne evening.

Incredible room, with a breathtaking view. Beds were insanely comfortable, couldn't get out!! Beautiful bathroom and bath, the interior design in general is a really high standard. The check-in experience was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the lobby bar overlooking Melbourne. Breakfast in the Atria restaurant was outstanding - the spanner crab, and jamon and brie omelet were 5 stars.

The pool area is let down by a couple of things - the tears in the bed coverings really let down the furnishings. The inability to swim up to the edge of the pool and look out over the view is a huge design fail. Why are the spa facilities gender split?!! Didn't use based on this.

Everything. I want to live here! The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and have a great furniture. Floor to ceiling windows make it feel like you’re in the sky and the bed is really comfortable. Great products. Gym, pool and lobby are equally beautiful.

The only annoying thing is that you have to take an elevator to the lobby and then walk to a second elevator bank to your room. And that it’s a major wind tunnel walking out the front door.
