Reception photocopied my Credit card - bordering on illegal- inviting fraud- advised I wasn't happy with process even though they tried to claim it would b held 'safely'??

I arrived extremely late at night, and despite the hour, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The facility itself boasted an impressive array of amenities, including a swimming pool and a fully-equipped gym, which, unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to utilize due to my hectic schedule. However, I was pleased to discover that the hotel was situated in a prime location, within a short walking distance to Southern Cross Station, and in close proximity to a large shopping mall. Furthermore, the hotel's convenient location provided easy access to the tram network, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

It was a great experience staying.

The hotel was located really centrally meaning it was close to so many shops, restaurants and bars. We hardly used public transport while in Melbourne as we could walk around so easily. The room itself was large and spacious which is great when you are travelling with luggage. The room was serviced daily which was great. The hotel has its own gym and pool which was very quiet during our visit. The gym is small but has some decent equipment and the pool was lovley.

Comfortable clean room, nice bathroom & love location of this hotel being safe opposite Police Station, close to Southern Cross Station & Skybus & D.F.O shops. Lovely walks down to Vic & New Harbour area also trams are close by.

No complaints at all…perhaps a suggestion though to give the beverage centre area & behind fridge a spray as few tiny little cockroaches found on marble benchtop…I totally understand how hard it is to get on top of these pests in hotels & even in our homes. This did not spoil my stay at Atlantis & I will definitely return.

Very affordable and the staff were very nice. We were able to store our bags upon checkout and the baggage storage was very organized with number tickets. Great location, next to the Southern Cross station and two tram lines so it's easy to travel around the city and longer distances. The station also has restaurants and grocery stores, and there are many great places inside the city center as well. Overall a great place to stay.

Because it's on a main road you'd occasionally hear loud ambulance or police sirens at night, but that's not something the hotel can control.

Location was brilliant. Close to Southern Cross Station, Flagstaff Station, tram stops, food outlets. My room was excellent and had nice views over the tall buildings and flagstaff park. Bed was comfy and bed linen lovely and soft. Staff were great and very helpful.

There should definitely be an information sheet in the room about the properties facilities. I needed to ask the Pool hours, how to access the Wifi, what time was breakfast. Other hotels have an information book regarding all the information needed. This would save patrons having to continually ask these same questions and if not a book then a 1 page A4 sheet to cover all the relevant information.

We always utilise this hotel for concerts as an overnight trip out of Tasmania. The location and hotel are excellent as it is just across from Skybus terminal and trams are right outside. The only thing letting this hotel down consistently is the cleanliness of the rooms. While the bathrooms are fine, the carpets are always dirty and there is a layer of dust behind doors around bed wheels, and around furniture legs. It's scary to pull beds and side tables out to access power points for phone charging. Also, the couches, window ledges and tables are thick with dust. I now know to take allergy relief as unfortunately I am an allergy sufferer.

Less than 10 minutes walk from Southern Cross Station which is extremely convenient for transit to and from the airport with the airport shuttle bus service. The Southern Cross Outlet is next to the station which has quite a lot of outlet shops. Not far from the city tram circuit stops so it is very convenient to get around the Melbourne city by walking +/- city tram. Room is clean and big. Note the swimming pool is not heated and is in a separate building from which I stay so I have to walk across the lobby to go to the gym and swimming pool. Directly opposite to the Police HQ so I suppose it is very safe.
