It’s position

Disappointing that they advertise having a stove, but there were no kitchen utensils to use to cook with, plus the fridge was tiny , no room to put much at all especially being near the Victoria market we were going to buy some nice foodstuffs to bring home but couldn’t, plus not even a freezer in it and no ice to add to a drink .

COMFY BEDS! Lovely funky decor! So close to literally everything..

We have stayed here 3 times now. Disappointed that we weren't informed then buffet breakfast wouldn't be available. Also don't recommend ordering from downstairs Cafe. My Family & I ordered toasties & mozzarella sticks for a quick lunch. We waited almost 30mins for our toasties, my husband, my son & I had finished them & our Daughters mozzarella sticks were forgotten. Then they still charged me for them & ended up delivering them to our room 45mins later!? Not good enough. Honestly the last time we stayed the food took FOREVER as well.

I upgraded to a higher floor studio with a view. And what a view it was from the 32nd floor! Spectacular sunsets. I had trouble reaching the safe and tops of cupboards and the staff brought me a stepladder to use for my 6-night stay. They also cleaned my balcony glass door as it was dirty and impeding my view. Everyone was so nice. A big shout-out to the Colombian women who took care of the window. So lovely! And the maintenance guy who gave me the stool. And the poor woman who had to come back twice with laundry detergent. I hope you made your train.

The room booked was fabulous although the building works did somewhat block our view of Flagstaff Gardens Unfortunately there was a problem with the toilet's flush. Although the staff were very apologetic, it could not be fixed so we were moved to another room that was good, but not as good as the first. Staff gave us free vouchers for breakfast to help compensate for the disruption Excellent breakfast Great choice of fruit cereal yoghurt breads pastries and cooked breakfast. The sachets of wasing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & washing powder were greatly appreciated. The hotel is perfectly located. A couple of minutes walk to tram stop , 5 minutes walk from Flagstaff train station. The Queen Victoria market is a 15 minute stroll and off course Flagstaff Gardens are across the road. Liked the Jazz, references & decor.

No mention of the building works next door. It did block the view of the gardens ( in our original room) and was a bit noisy from 8am every weekday.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Avani Jazz Melbourne, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel offered a fantastic park view, which added a refreshing touch to our stay. Having our own laundry facilities was a great convenience, making it easy to manage our belongings during our trip. The location was central to all the places we wanted to explore, allowing us to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer with ease. What truly stood out during our stay was the amazing staff. The elevator change

has everything I need: hair dryer, washer/dryer, simple cooking equipment, utensils, fridge. convenient location: just cross the street to two different free tram lines, just cross the street to the train system, downstairs to small supermarket n chemist, many good restaurants within 10 minutes walk I can accept no daily house keeping service but may get clean towels from the reception. there is place outside of the room to dump garbage.

fading dirt marks on big towel (luckily can ask for replacement right away) there is no daily house keeping to take away the dirty towel n I was told to leave it outside of my room for pick up. nobody came. room service food is not good

The bed is comfortable to sleep in and the size of the apartment is just nice for 4 pax small sized tourist. I loved the view at the balcony. Fantastic. Love the dining table area as it just moves us to sit tgt and have a good chit chat. There’s daily cleaning but time varies. The kitchen also has their essential items but we didn’t do cooking as it’s easy to get around and get breakfast. Staff was very friendly and prompt in our requests.

There’s no drop off point. It’s a lane beside the main road but they cordon it off so the drop off point is on the bicycle lane. But because there are inconsiderate people who will stay there so it’s of no choice they have to cordoned off the small area.

Very comfortable and in a great location for me - very close to Flagstaff Station but quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of power points, good wifi for Chromecasting. Great faculties - perfect for a short stay. Especially liked that they have moisturiser in the bathroom! Staff were friendly and room service a bonus at this price point, food was good too.

Very minor thing is that the microwave was a bit high for a short person, and fridge is more of a minibar size so if you're staying here longer could be annoying. If you are planning on nights out this part of town is fairly quiet. Very walkable though, but can feel a bit isolated if walking alone. There is some construction nearby but I didn't hear it.

Very happy with our stay. Room was very spacious, well kept and clean. Bed very comfy with good choice of pillows. Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Close to transport with 2 tram stops on differant lines very close and railway station accross the road. We arrived very late and left very early, with 24/7 reception this was not a problem and staff were very welcoming. this will be on our short list to stay again. We asked for the (empty) body lotion in the bathroom and coffee capsules to be provided. Both were done upon our return to the room shortly after.

Nothing really, as a constructive suggestion a larger fridge, but in saying that the tiny fridge was enough for our bottle of wine, couple of beers and some milk...

It’s close to the Victoria markets, some balconies you can see the roof of it! Close to a major tram. Place is clean, staff are wonderful and have a good sense of humour. Stayed at a lot of high end places and a lot of bad. For what you pay you get 10 times more better than you expect. It’s small but I don’t know a lot of people who travel who stay in their hotel room all day. Bed was soft and comfortable. It was a really nice stay.

Everything was great. Nothing really, maybe a better drop off zone for rides but you can always direct them across the road to the park where there is a safe space for them to pull up.
