Location was good, restaurant was good. Concierge was excellent

1. As three people in our 70’s we requested two rooms on the same floor as close as possible in case the fire alarm sounded and we could help one another down the stairs. We were assured by email that this would happen, but on arrival the receptionist refused our request. We were put on the 31st and 35th floors! 2. The bathroom (especially the toilet) being in the bedroom was dreadful. Very badly thought out. 3. I reported on our second day that my bedside lamp wasn’t working but it did not get fixed in the four day stay.

The hotel is situated centrally in Melbourne CBD area. Very convenient to move around the city especially with the tram stations nearby. From the airport you may take the Skybus to Southern Cross station (est ard 25 mins), from the station either take a tram or walk (ard 12 mins) to the hotel. Many eateries, mini supermarkets around, QVM and big stores are just 10 minutes walk. Few Halal restaurants with certified logo around the area. One of the pick-up point for tour operator too. The 2 double bed and pillows are comfortable and good. Room and bathroom are clean. You may request for toothbrush set. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Their customer service are excellent. Attached are pics just outside the hotel and from the hotel room.

It would be better if there is a bidet in the toilet. The carpet needs to be vaccuumed everyday.

The location is good but beware with taxis they may take you to the other Novotel in the city. We stayed in the disabled room and the room was huge and spacious!! Breakfast was $25 an adult which in that area is good deal. Don’t try anywhere else it is all more expensive.

There is no parking. Only paid valet parking which is too expensive. However there is a mall 3 mins away to park in which they don’t tell you but plenty of options.

The staff were helpful and professional . A massive thumbs up to James the Concierge . He was fantastic . My husband left his bag ( containing his wallet. phone etc ) at the hotel and did not realise it until we got to the airport . I rang the hotel and James offered us some alternatives to retrieve the bag . My sister (bless her) returned to the hotel and James was waiting to give her the bag so that it would make the flight with us . Disaster averted . Also loved the shower in the room .

Thought the room was a bit small .

A very nice modern hotel, right down the street from Melbourne Central. Staff were very polite. Room was spacious and pretty cozy. TV had Chromecast so streaming to it was very easy. Our stay was on the 25th floor, where we had a nice view of the surrounding cityscape. Buffet breakfast was very good too and the restaurant had a fantastic vibe

Entry was in an odd location not directly facing the street, also check-in was on the 3rd floor (ground floor was the check-in for Ibis hotel, which is in the same building). Had to wait a while for check-in due to a sizeable line, but staff can't be faulted for that. Room only offers a minibar where you have to pay for everything, no complimentary water, although they did have tea and coffee. Pleasant experience overall.

The location was excellent. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was beautiful.

The check in and out process was clunky and slow .the carpark was too expensive for Melbourne on the weekend. At check out time only one person is allocated to bring your car back , this took a long time . The only car parking was valet and it cost $80 from check in to 1 pm. Then $20 per hour to keep the car there after that. This meant I moved the car to a $15 all day park.

This was a first time stay for me, for 7 nights. Great property with excellent service staff. Location meant we only had to walk a few minutes to access Melbourne Central, QV, Queens Street, Bourke Street and many more. Very nice in room amenaties. Check in and check out was a breeze! Thank you

Rooms were a bit small but since i was on a business trip, i spent more time outside the room

The property was clean and very well maintained. I loved the customer service and quick and efficient responses to any questions I had. The room was quite modern and has everything I needed for the week.

The lights were about to dim in the main part of the room The gym didn’t have enough equipment, but that’s understandable considering the space. I also thought the price was quite high for a bed and bath room. I found a full apartment at another hotel with kitchen facilities for $100 less.

Hotel was ideally placed to free trams for everywhere. Flinders street station and federation square are accessible by tram and ten minutes by walk. Room was a bit small for two people by comfort was great. Breakfast was amazing and especially make your own juice on the juicer machine was something exceptional. Loved it! Everyone was so helpful!

Room should have more light.

Very modern room with King Bed and very good views of the Northern and inner suburbs. Lifts were fast (we were on the 32nd floor) and valet parking and luggage service to your room was very convenient. Very large shower recess with large shower head. We had a package which included a full buffet breakfast and as usual it didn't disappoint. Very conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne, once we checked-in our car we walked everywhere. Lastly but most importantly the staff were fabulous! Everyone from the check-in reception to the concierge were great. We'll see you again :-)

Although the valet parking was very convenient (at this property valet parking it the only 'on site' option), it was also a little expensive.
