The first thing I must highlight is the attention of the reception staff. They were all incredible and very attentive. They help you with everything you need. I had some issues with activities I booked in Melbourne, and they did everything they could to help me resolve them. Thank you! The room they gave me was a little uncomfortable, it wasn't small, but the layout wasn't good, nor was it the one I booked, but the staff did their best to give me a similar one. The bed was comfortable to rest in, the bathroom was clean and spacious, but it gave off an unpleasant sewage smell. It has a small refrigerator to store whatever you need and a large desk and chair in case you need to work. It has a coffee maker and they provide coffee, tea, sugar and cream. It has a good view of the city, very well located and there are several metro and tram stations nearby, in fact it is located within the tram free zone. Many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. They have a cafe in the lobby that serves a great breakfast...don't miss it!

I didn't like that if you use the cups and glasses they provide, they don't automatically change them if they look dirty...I had to ask reception to replace them.

A super comfy bed and pillows and that's the main thing really, cosy room and perfect as a base for my needs. nice and central and I will definitely stay again. I'm in Melbourne a lot and have stayed in many hotels, Brady is great for business travel and needing a comfy no frills place to stay, toiletries are nice and the bathroom is great. Nice that there is a proper coffee bar downstairs. All the people working there were super nice too.

Obviously not the fault of the hotel at all but the poor things are hampered by the tunnel construction and it is in the middle of a construction zone, that being said they are doing well to stay chill and happy. The property could definitely do with a bit of a spruce in several areas but.. who doesn't! One thing I wish more hotels would doe is to forgo instant coffee packs for proper coffee... perhaps a little pod machine or even the coffee bags...but that's almost every hotel in the world so no biggie.

I love that their aircon are individually controlled- living room, bedrooms. Location is good, near to a mini mart and several tram stops. Many restaurants nearby too.

There is construction nearby. Though not very noisy but it is unsightly. The water pressure in both their bathrooms are quite low. Even the water flush for the toilet. Not sure whether it’s because the room is in 15th level. The self service laundry is quite expensive. $4 to use the washing machine and $2 to use the dryer machine.

It's a great location, very close to the train station and trams and loads of eating and shopping options, but tucked into a quiet alleyway (although note they are behind the Metro Tunnel work for the State Library - although I didn't hear the noise from the back room). It's well set up and the staff were very friendly. Cafe downstairs so you an get breakfast easily before facing the madding crowds. 24/7 reception - didn't need it, but always helpful. I was able to check in early. Powerpoints are in mostly convenient locations (no USB facilities so make sure to bring a powerbank!) Great value and perfect for my purposes - I will be returning!

Not much! The bed might be a bit firm for some and the TV was at a bit of an odd spot for watching. Could do with more variety with their teabags and I prefer places that don't have single-use toiletries, but very minor issues. My room didn't have a microwave.

We booked here very last minute (10mins before walking into the lobby) after an unfortunate experience with an airbnb. John was incredibly helpful and accommodating and we very much appreciated everything he did to help us get settled. The rest of the staff were also lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable (I'm a bit of a germophobe so I'm quite picky), though slightly dated. For the price we paid I am very happy with our stay and would definitely come back!

No major complaints! The construction outside was a bit annoying to navigate but that had nothing to do with the hotel itself.

We had a lovely view of Melbourne Central. The room was so spacious and comfortable. Location-wise it was also amazing - close to so much shopping, food and sightseeing. But mainly my husband and I stayed in our room and relaxed. It was perfect for that. It was our first time sharing a king bed too. We loved having a spacious bed.

We found the room to be a bit stuffy and there weren't proper covers on the quilt so it moved around a lot at night and fell off us. The king bed was also two single beds put together which was nice for space but wasn't quite what I was expecting as a king bed.

The STAFF! Whatever shortcomings this hotel had, the staff more than made up for it. I was there for an entire week. I was billeted in an extremely small room, without a desk or a chair. When the manager Amy Le got wind of this, she expressed surprise and immediately offered me a room, which I did not accept immediately (I was already settled in the tiny room), but in the end I asked to look at the alternative rooms she offered and I was floored by the difference. I moved. Now, I had a kitchenette with a stove, a microwave, small refrigerator and a hot water kettle. Amy and Eva went out of their way to ensure the rest of my stay was pleasant and problem free. Also, being next door to the Central Station shopping center was very convenient for food, shopping & the tram & train.

The first room I was given - it was ridiculously small. Construction that totally blocked the road and drivers had to make a U-turn on what amounted to a small alleyway (not their fault).

The room is well situated near Melbourne Central, the State Library, and RMIT with generally easy access to the city circle and Swanston and Elizabeth St tram routes, however this is currently hindered by the work being done building the new station. The place is clearly fairly new, the beds were comfortable and there was a small basic kitchen. There is a cafe downstairs, heaps of hotpot and other Asian restaurants nearby and a woolies metro at the end of the street.

Some minor issues - the toaster handle is broken so it can't be pushed down, the pot and pan are up so high there is no way for anyone under 6 foot to access it, the toilet flush buttons need to be held in, and there are no comfortable seats. There is a bench seat, but not comfortable for any length of time. (See pics for king studio for reference). In the scheme of things, these are minor points unless you are spending lots of time in the room, and I'd stay there again.

The two ladies at the reception were very courteous and always smiling and helpful. Even brought up to my room a dental tooth paste kit as I had forgotten when I called up the reception. Location is amazing in the heart of Elizebeth Street access to trams, Melbourne Central shopping, food etc., amazing location for Melbourne central. They cleaned the room daily and room was very very clean and safe. Used the laundry and dryer also in the basement very practical and safe place. Will go there again for sure. Highly recommended.

All the staff are nice and helpful. As there is construction work nearby, some noises might be heard at night. The staff and the manager rearranged another room for me as requested since I am not sleeping well at night. I feel more comfortable after moving to a new room. Thank you for the arrangement! And the location of the hotel is great. I feel safe even though I came back at night!

Someone from the upper floor smoking at the balcony and threw the cigarette down outside my room. I reported to the manager, and he came up and helped me to lock the balcony door. Thank you!
