Hotel is in a great location. Super close to everything, we walked each day of our stay to shops, cafes and restaurants. Room was quiet and comfortable. Small things that could have made the stay even better - extra blankets for the bed, there were only 4 coat hangers in total, additional towels for the pool would have been great. Whilst the apartment was clean people, perhaps permanent residents(?) left bags of rubbish each day out by the lift which accumulated and was a bit yucky. And on the top shelf of the wardrobe were some dirty sheets that had obviously been missed from previous guests.

The accommodation exceeded expectations. It was clean and the views of the city were amazing. We were upgraded from a one - to a two bed apartment, which was great. The beds were comfortable. The air con was efficient. It was very quiet considering that we were in a city. We enjoyed using the pool, sauna, and table tennis. Very close to the free trams. There are lots of local places to eat. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional. We were able to store our luggage for a while after check out, which was helpful.

Could have done with some baking trays to use to heat up food in the oven.

The location was highly impressive, offering a convenient and appealing setting. The room was both functional and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the facilities were of a high standard. Overall, the experience was excellent.

The front desk staff at the arrival could improve their approach by refraining from requesting an additional $50 for a room upgrade. After I declined the offer, I was informed that the upgrade was complimentary. Furthermore, as I had booked my stay through Booking.com, which included a complimentary room upgrade, the handling of this situation was not satisfactory and left a poor impression.

We loved everything! Location - 1000 out of 100 (5 minutes walk from Melbourne Central). Staff - amazing and helpful. Pool was really nice, as well as the sauna and table tennis and pool table. Super comfortable beds and amazing view of the city. We stayed in one-bedroom apartment, and it was rather spacious and clean. Will 100% be back later this year.

There is no parking in the building, but we got given 25% discount for the parking across the alley (1min walk). Other than that - nothing to complain about.

Great Location. So close to all the restaurants and Melbourne Central Shopping is less than 5 mins walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues at the start but were fixed pretty quickly. The pool area is great. The kids absolutely loved it. Washing machine and dryer is super convenient. I would recommend this place for a family of 4 or 5 in a 2 bedroom but highly recommend going for the bigger 2 bedroom option.

The rug needs major cleaning and floors were not cleaned properly

The hotel itself was spotless, with modern amenities and a luxurious yet cozy ambiance. The rooms were well-maintained, and the views of Melbourne were breathtaking. The location is perfect—close to key attractions, dining options, and transport. I highly recommend Avani Melbourne to anyone looking for a delightful stay in the city. Close proximity to CBD, food outlets and transportation. Walking distance to different iconic landmarks. Shah, front of office was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Very accommodating and professional. Always greeted guests with a smile and had great customer service.

Air conditioning in our original room wasn’t working properly and made a lot of noise, on night 1 of the trip. Was compensated by being given another room the following morning and staff were very helpful in storing our luggage whilst upgraded room was getting sorted.

The property was lovely and cozy. Staff there were mostly handy, friendly and helpful. I appreciate their kindness and all the support. Room and the bathroom are very clean that met my expectation as I always have high standards about cleanliness. In general, my stay was pleasant and lovely. Thank you.

the wifi connection was really served in really poor quality for visitors and not even stable at all. Also, i saw drinks left from the previous resident in fridge, which was a bit surprised.

Excellent location, great facilities for kids, friendly staff. We had a 2 bedroom interconnected queen apartment which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and shared living, dining, kitchen and only one entry door so was more than enough space for our family of five and we felt very safe. Would also make sure we packed bathers next time as the kids loved the indoor heated pool.

Some of our windows wouldn't open so it was a little difficult getting fresh air into the apartment. Also, the off-site parking is an easy walk back to the apartment but the roadworks going on during our stay meant it was difficult to get there in our car after checking in. In hindsight, it would have been better to go to the car park first, then check in.

Amazing location in the city with minimal traffic out the front, staff were very friendly & accommodating, facilities were mostly great, apartment was clean & tidy & comfortable.

Laundry facilities weren’t great. Washing machine/dryer combo was in the room but it took us 2-3 days to actually dry our clothes, the dryer settings didn’t really work. No clothes airer was provided so we ended up hanging our clothes up to dry on the ironing board.
