This apartment hotel is an easy ten-minute walk from Southern Cross Station, where the Sky Bus from the airport ends. It's also a very easy walk to the CBD, and near any tram or train you'd need to get anywhere in Melbourne. I asked for a quiet room and got one (on the 50th floor -- couldn't hear any traffic noise at all). The decor is modern and minimalist; the beds were comfortable; there's a well-equipped galley kitchen, washer, dryer, and lovely views of the river and downtown. The gym was great and there is also a narrow but long pool, good for swimming laps. You're near LOTS of great coffee places and bakeries and restaurants: I recommend Code Black Coffee, two blocks away.

room was a little small for the price paid, and the housekeeper should wait until checkout to attempt to clean room as she knocked at 8:30am in the morning while we were still in bed and opened the door, next time wait until you are sure the guest have left

Prime location, easy access to public transport and key attractions. The building is also staffed 24/7 and offers complimentary baggage storage while you’re waiting for check in. Basic necessities provided in the room.

Rooms are not carpeted so the floors can be pretty cold to walk on on cooler days. I was unfortunately charged extra for baby cot which I’ve specifically asked to be cancelled during my check in, so pay attention to how much you’re actually charged. Thankfully the manager on duty was able to refund me the extra fee when i raised my concerns immediately. Very happy with our stay overall

Modern and sleek design. Great amenities! In the heart of the city, easy walking distance and close to tram stops. Parks out from make it easy for drop off and pick up from ride share companies.

Wish that the pool and spa were open later. As a couple or people travelling for business, it would be nice to relax in your leisure time. However, the pool was always full of children playing up until close. Perhaps if it was open later, those who want to enjoy the amenities children-free would have more opportunity!

Staff Helpful, patient (with my questions), resourceful (able to suggest alternatives to my queries) and polite. Housekeeping staff were quick to address minor issues with cleanliness in the room (ar first entry after checking in), among others (all minor). Location Chose the hotel for its proximity (and within my budget) to Southern Cross and Flinders Stations - made it convenient to hop on to a train get to where I needed to during my stay in Melbourne. Clean and had amenities (kitchenette and washer/dryer) Perfect for a week’s stay or longer

Nothing pops to mind

Location is excellent. Just a short walk from the Skybus drop-off that we caught from the airport. Then it is close enough to walk to not only the centre of the city but also Southbank. There was a supermarket and a bottle shop less than 100 metres away. A nice Sports bar less than 50 metres away. But it was a peaceful and quiet area where you could easily walk around at night feeling safe. It is very new so great facilities and neat and clean rooms. As our room was on the 40th floor corner of the building we had a great view out our windows where we could see 270-degree views. Both sunrise and sunset. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. When we asked for new towels and toiletries, and they provided them straight away.

There was nothing that we did not like. We can't think of one thing the we could complain about. Perfect stay.

The booked room was not up to advertised standard and was pokey but staff were obliging and sorted a better room which was light, very clean and just perfect for the stay….until I opened a window for fresh air…..

The noise from the fans outside room when opened windows….fresh air was not possible unlike the previous stay the noise from other buildings vented systems was heard at night and especially if one dared open a window….which I just couldn’t do due to the noise! (2301) The air conditioner was fiddley and the tv was not clear to operate and it would be good to have a written booklet so this was clearer to sort…..

The hotel is just up from Southern Cross Station, we arrived on the Sky Deck bus from the airport and was such an easy transfer. The hotel is lovely, bright and in the centre of Melbourne. We had a one bedroom suite, which was on the top floor, with such amazing views and the facilities were perfect. The kitchen is great although the plates are in the cupboards up high and I had to get my husband to get them as I am only 5'1"

Nothing it was just perfect.

The quick and welcoming check in, consideration of my request for a room on a high floor, follow up from Reception to ensure that the room was fine, and assistance in loaning a plug adapter. Thank you, Tiffany at Reception - for an outstanding service. The room I had was on the 38th floor, reasonably nice views (enjoyed three days of sunrises with hot air balloons against the Melbourne city skyline). The room was clean, comfortable bed; always loved the Meriton pillows (will be buying some for home from the Meriton store); the location was fantastic and central to my needs for business and dining; loved the lifts - very efficient and intuitive. Overall, an exceptional stay and will stay here again when I visit Melbourne again for business or pleasure.

Some minor design issues and very much a personal opinion. The top row of cabinets in the kitchenet extend to the same level as the benchtop - one keeps knocking their heads until you learn to consciously avoid this. The bathroom mirror is too far back from the sink for my liking making it difficult for shaving. A rain shower would go nicely with the bathroom. Not very conducive for working at present. There is no desk (which is fine) but there are also no accessible plug sockets (for lap tops etc) anywhere within reach of the dining table. Unless I missed it, a note near the kitchen bins with directions to the garbage chute would be helpful (in the absence of housekeeping services).

Great location. Only one block away from the southern cross station and great restaurants. My room had a washer and dryer and kitchenette just wish I was there long to use it. Quiet room facing small laneway. Cute little complementary slippers. Staff super lovely. Good firm pillows and comfortable bed. Can leave bags if you have a late flight and they can be retrieved super quickly. Kevin Murphy products used! Gym is great ! Heaps of DBs, shoulder press pin load machine as well as lat pull down as well as a few treadmills and elliptical. Gym was quiet on a Monday AM. Shower pressure good in rooms. Will definitely be back and make this my go to hotel in Melbourne.

You had to ask for room to be serviced/ ask for an additional products/ towels as needed. This wasn’t too bad as items arrived to the room quickly upon request. Also good to avoid wastage. Pool was inside and looked average but don’t go in as there were few kids / families there.
