Clean,comfortable standard room , great little bathroom off to side with decent sized shower. Plenty of storage space in cupboard/around room. Queen bed was nice and comfy. Free WiFi, smart TV, good instant coffee / milk , sugar coffee mug , cutlery provided, mini bar fridge. Good laundry facilities, indoor outdoor smoking / vaping lounge. Overall Great value for money, perfect location so close to Southern Cross station/ Spencer St shopping outet. Perfect for solo travellers or couples!

No microwave in room or a communal kitchen area that I could see with a shared microwave. Also...the only other thing was the in room aircon worked well , but was a little loud and rattled sometimes

Well it had an air-conditioner which was better than Some other hotels that cost more. The location was good being right on Flinders Street The staff were friendly. The room was comfy it was also A pretty good price overall it was very good

What I didn’t like about it weren’t too many things but the things I didn’t like were there weren’t too many blankets, so I feel like there needs to be more blankets. Just in the hotel room so you don’t have to ask Second thing this work me up in the morning someone was having a shower next door, and for some weird reason, the piping was really loud it just made a lot of noise, but that’s really my only complaints and I’m sure you can probably get an extra blanket if you ask

the distant from the room to the lift,,

you can move the bed away from the wall.. when there are two people sleeping in one room... you should give them a room with a bed they can both access each side NOT have to climb over the base of the bed to get into one side... it was hard on the old person having to climb over the bed to get into... only place single people in the room with access to one side of the bed n the other side has a wall... the room was toooooooooo small for two people..

The family room was huge, larger than we expected at this price point and combined with the central location of the hotel. The main selling point is the location, its next to Southern Cross station as well as several free-tram stations in Melbourne CBD. Also, only a short walk to restaurants, cafe as well as other entertainment places. One thing to note, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful towards a few challenges we faced during our stay (details below)

Our original room was a bit dirty, as some garbage wasn't cleared as well as there were foul smells in the bathroom, turns out there was a leakage. We requested maintenance but the issue could not be resolved. Thankfully, the staff were able to arrange to move us to another room. It was indeed a hassle, but necessary.

3 80 year old ladies stayed for 2 nights then back for further 4 nights 1st time room with king side bed and 2 singles plus sitting room, Found shower over bath to be slippery but overcome that by placing towel in the bottom also no safety rails 2nd Visit room with king size bed and 2 singles better as bathroom shower had safety rails whilst no room service on either occasion not problem could always get extra towel etc from staff and rubbish collection bins on the floor. Location ideal - for plane travellers catching bus in. The Breakfast both continental and cooked very good value and well presented. Have recommended to several people already

Warm and comfortable and a clean room with a bathtub which I was very happy about.

The noisy pipes from the room next door. I accidentally tkt left my iPhone charger there plugged into the wall near the bed. I realized when I arrived home, so I phoned the hotel. They claimed cleaning staff did not report it as lost and found. So it’s either still in the wall and the new guest took it or the cleaning staff found it and did not report it! So I am now out of pocket for a super fast iPhone charger due to dishonesty and my forgetfulness. Not happy either way! I had thought about using this hotel for my fortnightly visits as it was close to the tram and southern cross station but I cannot abide by dishonesty.

I am of the older generation 😞 I was so pleased with the 1st floor,I don’t like lifts,so used the stairs and there wasn’t many stairs 🙂 thought our stay there was great value for money!! The price was great,what we got for what it cost,we thought it was great value,along with the $9 continental breakfast was the icing on the cake!! Location was great! Once we entered the hotel,it left all the noise behind,we heard no traffic,which was a concern for us,we live in a quiet coastal town,that is greatly populated by shack owners that are only there on holidays,so it is quiet with little to no traffic noise! We have had many problems in the past with traffic noise late into,or all night affecting our sleep! We both slept well,which is testament to the comfiness of the atmosphere and bed 🙂 all staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 Thank u for having us,we will be back in the state for the football within the next few months and we intend on staying with you again! Not much really,I really couldn’t say I was unhappy with anything.

A lovely room; a good size and well set out. Nice views over the street below and not noisy at all. At the end of a corridor so there was no through movement.

I didn't like the attitude from the staff in the restaurant. Maybe not their fault as they said they were following regulations. You couldn't buy a drink and take it back to your room. You couldn't borrow a spoon to take to your room. They wouldn't make a cocktail for a lady because it was too close to closing time. Within 10 minutes of closing. No real effort to make your stay a highlight. I refused to use the restaurant after the first 2 days, and ate and drank elsewhere for the next 3 days.

The hotel is in a great location for airport bus, railway, trams and walking into the city center. The room was comfortable but not exceptional, and the shower water pipes were noisy in my room and neighboring rooms.. There is no room service but there is easy and c;lose access to 7-11 and other food providers. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent in getting my room at the right temperature for me. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I'd easily use this hotel again when I next come to Melbourne.

Towels and linen were spotless. Towels were presented nicely and the bed was made up immaculately. Bathroom and bedroom were extremely clean . All the basics were there easy to use tv with remote blackout curtains. Kettle that was clean inside, tea milk etc. Desk and chair. Bed and pillows super comfy. Bathroom was smallish but you had everything u needed. Breakfast options information in the room very helpful and with very reasonable prices Basic breakfast hot or cold options but all u needed. This is a budget hotel but definitely at the highest end of budget. The only reason l think it’s considered to be budget is because the building is a little on the older side. It has a 24 hour reception as well

I prefer an early breakfast so the 7:30 start for breakfast for me was a little late. Probable not an issue for some. I didn’t like the sign in the dinning room no refills. ( l like to have 2 cups of tea at breakfast) Again may not be an issue for some.
