Great location in city centre, great staff, clean kitchen and bathroom, well stocked kitchen and plenty of plugs in the seating area

The lockers are small so you can only fit a cabin size bag in it and plugs in the room are very limited

Location 7 minutes walking from airport bus, in the city center, 5 minutes walking to supermarket, safe area. Free trams nearby. Free wifi works well for me, others complain about it. Big kitchen with everything. Breakfast was ok, if you don't pay for it, you can prepare your own in the kitchen. Linen and towel included. Nice and helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Many tables and charging points in the main hall.

No curtains closing bunk bed. Each bed has an individual light but not a charging point. Sockets, no USB charger in the room.

The common space may not be enough for all guests. Also, electric sockets are not suitably located in a room.

The staff were helpful with requests such as allocating me a lower bunk and providing a printing service. It's a positive to offer free earplugs at reception for anyone who may need to block out train noise from nearby Flinders Station. I was sorry I didn't have the chance to use the rooftop balcony.

The women's bathroom near Room 100 smelt a bit mouldy; like it could do with a thorough clean. It's how bathrooms can smell, if they don't get much air flowing through them (no windows and a secured entrance that's kept closed). The soap dispenser in the left shower was broken. I'm mentioning these points to hopefully get them fixed. The WiFi dropped out intermittently hence my average rating.

Being regional this venue suits my transit needs, and occasionally I'll stay two nights. I have used the kitchen facilities in the past, they are more than adequate for my needs. Staff have always been helpful, and show a courteous friendliness.

Facility is worth recommending for solo travellers, couples might economies in dormitories, but I suspect they might seek other accommodation. I can't see how pets fit into a dormitory format, I'd not use the facility if I found dogs or cats staying over. Toilet facilities are satisfactory and clean until patrons misuse them; going for ablutions is always an unknown quantity.

I like the big bathroom and shower area. Also they have hair dryers and it is clean. Rooms are clean too. Location is good They give you earplugs

The common areas were a bit weird this time maybe spooky ?. Also a bit smelly, don't know if the smell came from the kitchen. The rooms are a bit cold, I think the heater is not enough for the size of the room. It is uncomfortable moving in the bed, they are very noisy

The perfect location, the friendly staff and good attitude to solve problems, and it was a private room. The staff helped us to charge power bank every day during our journey

It didn’t contain any meals, the price was higher than other hostels. The first day we moved in, there was someone renovating at 8am, and every time our neighbors closed the door, it sounds like someone were opening our door, it’s a bit annoying. But the staff compensated us the breakfast buffet, which was good.

I felt safe due to reception operating 24hr and security with swipe card for entering the front door and bathroom area. I chose to have a double room to myself and it was perfect. Adequate power points and lights. Comfortable bed with nice linen and pillows. Towels were provided which is a nice touch. Kitchen looks well equipped and the breakfast provided for a small amount of money looked healthy and a great choice. .Public transport very close but it's also close enough to walk around and I felt safe with all the street lights. I will definitely recommend and I will for sure be staying again. Because I wanted to sit out side and people watch l chose to have breakfast at a little cafe only a few minutes walk.

Nothing that would stop me from staying again. It was a little noisy due to the trains but that's to be expected with the location. I took ear plugs and that solved that problem.

Fantastic location. In the heart of the CBD. Most things are within a 30min walk but there is a tram stop opposite the hostel which makes transport very easy. Very close to the station too. Everywhere was very clean. The kitchen was great and the staff regularly kept on top of cleaning it/getting rid of leftover stuff. Beds were comfy and the showers were good. Definitely recommend

The locker in the dorm room was not very big. My backpack did not fit in which wasn’t ideal

room small, There are not enough electrical sockets. There are only four in the six-person room, and they are too high on the wall to charge. There are no sockets in the public lounge area. It does not require much investment to add a curtain to the lower bed, which is convenient for travelers and avoids disturbing others when the bedside lamp is turned on at night.
