Hotel was easy short walk from Southern Cross station. Breakfast at Salted Egg was innovative with Asian influences evident in most of the cooked breakfasts. Chilli scrambled eggs with crab were fantastic. Small gym on 29th floor and reasonable swimming pool on 28th floor.

The housekeeping systems were not ideal. First full day there our bathroom had not been serviced when we returned late afternoon but the bed had been made up - we had to request room to be serviced so we could have a shower before going out for the evening. On the second day a staff member knocked on door midafternoon to ask when we would be departing as she seemed to think we were checking out that day (we weren't). Higher shelves above fridge area were very dusty too.

We loved the view from the 23rd floor room we had. The room was lovely and bed really comfy. Location was perfect for exploring the CBD on foot and for hopping on the bus or tram to Fitzroy/Collingwood/Brunswick.

While it was a novelty that the breakfast was all a la carte and all heavily south East Asian inspired, it would have been nice to have the option of a slightly lighter/simpler cereal/yoghurt/fruit option, instead of a full heavy breakfast every day. It also meant you were tied down to the timing of the restaurant, so you couldn’t whizz in for a quick bite to eat if you had an excursion booked, for example. Lovely restaurant though, just didn’t suit us to have that style of breakfast every day, so we only used 2 out of our 4 included breakfasts.

The corner room offered fantastic views over the city. A great place to enjoy the first coffee or the last wine of the day. The location is convenient to reach everything by foot or by tram, which is located right around the corner.

The hotels cleaning service needs imrovement. After three days the room was rather dusty, and we had to remind the staff several times to provide new towels, toilet paper, or make up the room. This was immediately taken care of, but should be done without reminders. The view from the room could have been even better, if the windows were clean. The rooftop bar was closed on two days and also closed earlier than announced, which led us to seek better alternatives. Overall, the hotel should improve its quality standards.

Location - close to NGV, SeaLife, easy to catch tram/train; Free movies; Indoor pool; Coffee pod machine and premium mesh teabags in room; unique bathroom tiles; floor to ceiling windows; nice toiletries; spacious, modern room.

Floating floors seemed a bit worn; rug didn't seem too clean; plush table seat needed a clean (drips from previous spills visible), no answer when I rang housekeeping multiple times in a row, pool seemed to keep running out of pool towels, hotel directory claimed linen would be fully changed after 3 nights, but this didn't happen, dirty teacup saucer was put back on shelf rather than replaced with new one.

Loved the very kind staff. Loved the resetting of my room each day. LOVED the Kevin Murphy hand wash, shampoo and conditioner. Loved the super comfy bed and the pillows. Loved the tea and coffee pods. Loved the proper blackout curtains. Honestly cannot fault this place, would definitely stay here again.

The club across the road that starts up at 12am and goes til 8am lol. The music was my style and my brain wanted to sing along, not sleep hahaha. The staff were so nice offering to move me, and also offering me a complimentary breakfast on my last morning. When staying in a busy CBD some noise is expected and this is outside the Quincy’s control but they were lovely about it.

I liked the location, with close proximity to transport and amenities. The staff were great: Special mention for Tammy and Ricardo for excellent service, pleasant nature, and quick response to my needs. The bed and pillows were so soft and luxurious. The security safe was great easy to use. The coffee pods were good quality. The body lotion was good quality. The pool was good for a relax. The lighting in the room had many options which I liked.

Room could be cleaned a bit better, with vacuum cleaner and check for dust, particularly the shelf under the TV

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Our bedroom was a nice size and all bathroom amenities were provided. The Q rooftop bar on the 28th floor was lovely and comfortable. The pool looked inviting and clean.

We tried to order some coffees one made with decaf coffee and two made with oat milk from room service, however nobody picked up the phone. We rang concierge and we were advised to go to the Salted Egg Restaurant on level 1 and they would be able to supply us with coffees that we required. When we got there, they refused to make them for us stating that they were busy. In the time it took the waiter to consult with his supervisor and returned back to us, he could have made us our coffees. We placed an order with a third party and had it delivered to the hotel.
