The location was great and the reception staff were very nice.
We stayed for 8 nights, were told we would get one day house keeping and cleaning, but we did not get any at all! The sofa seemed to be broken and very uncomfortable, we were not able to sit on for long. The air con was very weak and seemed to keep turning off and re-booting. No aircon in the bedroom, BIG issue when the sun shines right in for several hours a day, this was NOT mentioned in booking sites at all, it should state there is only one in the lounge.

Huge. Incredible views. All modern appliances. Very nice looking apartment style hotel room. Plenty of nice glasses, dishes, big fridge. Air conditioning was very good. Used washer dryer and they were nice full-size one and worked well. Great shower. Just a very nice space. Good TV. Location is excellent.
Was not a problem for me any time I have stayed there, but I arrive late at night and wish there was a way to get inside off the street without having to buzz in, as it’s a busy area and if it’s raining can be a hassle. Again, though, every time someone promptly answers and the door opens.

Property is well located, very proximate to the city core. The building is well maintained, security good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The unit we stayed in was very clean. We also appreciated the fact that the property is environmentally friendly- shampoo, body wash and conditioner containers were refillable and they practice garbage segregation (as opposed to the property we are now staying in Sydney)
It would be nice if the queen-sized beds’ mattresses were not too soft. Sharing the bed with another person was not ideal as the mattress was too bouncy

Excellent location, 2 tram stops near by making all our distinations easy to get to, such as Queen Victoria Markets, CBD, Rod Laver areana. Walking distance to Spencer Street Station. Felt safe and secure in the apartment. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially since we needed to extend our stay due to a cyclone in our home city. When we needed a door lock fixed, staff organised a maintenance man immediatley who was very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for a family of 3.
Very minor, but the small curtain rod in the main bedroom was secured by blue tack.

The location was great and apartment was spacious for a family of 4.
There were some issues during our stay which the staff members helped to resolve for us. These issues included our room not being ready upon check-in time and it took a while for the staff to find another room for us. Our TV was not working therefore had to be replaced; the bathroom fan was not working and we found some crumbs on the couch. We also found it difficult to contact the reception on the mobile number provided (went to voicemail on most occasions).

Outstanding Stay at Collins House I had a wonderful experience staying at Collins House. The hotel is in a great location—convenient and easy to get around—which made exploring the area a breeze. The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding service from General Manager Kylee Lowden. She went above and beyond, even texting me her direct number to ensure I had support at any time during my stay. That personal touch made all the difference and really set the tone for a welcoming and thoughtful experience. Highly recommend Collins House for both the quality of the accommodation and the exceptional service. Thank you, Kylee, for making my stay so smooth and memorable!

Convenient location. There are luxury stores on the east side of Collins St. This is a wonderful location to do window shopping of those luxury brand stores while enjoy coffee and nice food of the whole town. Very spacious apartment for a family of six people with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. We made most of our own breakfast and dinner in the apartment. Spectacular view from the living rooms and all bedrooms.
Nothing we dislike. But if you have luggage stored (which is free) and would like to claim them in the evening, watch out for the office hours of the apartment services. You need to give a call to have the staff showing up to get your luggage out.

We loved the apartments and were very kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt at no extra charge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the lobby area was beautiful. The only problem we encountered was the main air conditioning unit to the living area was not blowing out cold air and Melbourne was experiencing a heatwave. The staff promptly sent up a fan for the 2nd bedroom and they also organised for somebody to try and fix the aircon. Unfortunately, he was not able to fix the problem. The aircon unit in the main bedroom was working perfectly though and we just kept the blinds closed in the living area and 2nd bedroom to try and keep the apartment cool. The Manager kept in touch via SMS throughout the weekend which was great. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and would happily return!

Location perfect. Views of city very impressive. Beds comfortable. Laundry facilities good. Bathrooms modern spacious and clean. Internet free and fast. Large TV with a choice of news and entertainment. Two welcome treat boxes were nice and milk and beverage facilities were provided.
Don't let this dissuade you! All but one of the reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would have added this to the things we liked, but on arrival, one member of staff gave the impression that we were a nuisance. We didn't see that person again and the remainder of staff were excellent.

The modern, well-maintained apartment had everything we wanted, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. We were blessed to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with gorgeous views for our long stay. Many quiet and thankful moments were spent appreciating the 180-degree view of the sunrise and the sparkling city lights at night from the living room windows. It was a nice touch that 2 packs of milk were also provided in the fridge, which we gladly added to our coffee made with the coffee machine and coffee capsules provided. The bed was clean and comfortable and I slept well throughout our stay. The tram is just a few steps away so it was incredibly easy to explore the city. We were also lucky that pick-up points for two of our day trips were just conveniently located across the street.
The bedrooms were a little small as it was not possible to fully open our medium/large suitcases. Fortunately the bedrooms have large closets with a decent number of hangars. The views from the bedroom windows were just as gorgeous though.
