Did you check out other hotels and guest houses around? Because let me tell you, this place is the superhero of its league for this price. Picture this: You stroll into the bathroom, and guess who's NOT waiting for you? A massive cockroach! Oh, and hot showers? You betcha! The toilet? It's working its magic without any aquatic escapades, I promise. And your bedding? Fresh as a daisy, no moldy odysseys here. Hold up, breakfast actually has a taste? Unbelievable, right? And remember the horror movie scene of a rooster shouting by your window at 4am? Nope, not here. Jackpot achieved! Now, for all you social media addicts and those fleeing their oh-so-boring families, here's a pro tip: €15 and a local SIM card with unlimited internet. Trust me, the Wi-Fi here might be on vacation mode, but that's just the Bali way of saying "relax and unplug." In all seriousness, though, this place is an artistic masterpiece, dipped in Balinese charm. The staff is friendlier than a dolphin riding a rainbow. Brilliant location, a quiet oasis just off a Main Street with lots of fantastic bars and restaurants & attractions nearby. Lush, large garden with porches that overlook the garden, pool nearby.

The WiFi was patchy. Only really worked outside on the porch. Boosters needed? A minor complaint, overall.

Clean well appointed rooms. Staff were lovely, location very good, quiet setting but close to the town centre

The room was nice and traditional, the bed was huge and they had a sheet on the bed which I like. Access to drinking water to fill your bottle was good. The air con was OK, not great, so the ceiling Fan was well used. I liked the sound of the fountain at night. The location is great down an alley way off the main street. Walking access only and watch the Dog poo land mines in the evening. Lots of cafes, restaurants and massage places in the area. Money exchanges close by. Access to everything you need really. Monkey Forest is walk-able from there. So is the Ubud Palace for the night Dancing displays. I loved the pool, despite the fact they are waiting for repairs to it, it was still lovely to swim in. Good Value for money and lovely Lady/family who runs it.

Breakfast wasn't great, it's cheap but better to eat in a local cafe, Sorry. The toilet is beyond the shower so you have to cross the wet floor tiles to get to the loo once you have had a shower. Need some nets on the windows so you don't have to pull all the curtains for privacy. The rooms are dark with all the curtains drawn so you need a light on. Air con was a bit noisy at night but seems to be the norm in Bali. Noisy Guests arriving at 4 am en-mass, too early to check in but not the owners fault.

10 stars for a 2 star place. It is not the cleanest however the bed was, and very comfortable. Hot water just takes a bit to come thru. So unlike other reviews, yes there is hot water. Yes the pool has broken and missing tiles, however, it was clean, refreshing, right near our room 3A, and tiles weren’t an issue at all. The location is fantastic. It is just a very short stroll down a pebbled lane way. So if you are looking for budget accommodation, I definitely recommend this place.

Everything was beautiful here, the breakfast, the lovely staff, location, the pool was perfect for everything we needed. The place was tucked away from the busy city but so close to everything we needed within walking distance. Kadek and all the staff members were so awesome very helpful, friendly and made you feel at home! Would definitely come back here again. Sayong house is so beautiful we extended our stay & didnt want to leave. We will defs come back here again in a heartbeat! Its a really stunning accommodation

The location is awesome! You honestly cannot hear the noise of the city at all. The staff are lovely and friendly and they are very helpful! The air conditioning worked really well. The bed was extremely comfortable as well.

We unfortunately did not get what we booked because they said it was full and our bathroom was not good. We had a bathtub instead of a shower with a little wand that shot water everywhere including all over the toilet and toilet paper. The tub, tiles and walls were pretty gross. The toilet seat wasn't even the same size as the toilet. I hate to complain about anything at this place because everything else was so good however the bathroom was almost a deal breaker

The location is amazing, just in the center of Ubud but in the end of a small street which makes it a quiet and peaceful place. The stuff is very nice an helpful. The breakfast is good, there’s a choice of three options.

The bathroom was not very clean when we arrived, but it got cleaned after we asked for it.

the hotel is very close to Ubud Palace. There are many massage parlours nearby. Besides The hotel staff are very welcoming

The air conditioner outdoor unit in the first floor room is installed too high, causing the whole room to vibrate and make a lot of noise. Fortunately, it is not hot at night, so there is no need to turn on the air conditioner.

Had a great stay ! The hosts are amazing always smiling and ready to help you with anything you might need, the rooms are clean and pretty big as well. There’s also a pool open all day super quiet where you can relax. The breakfast it’s home cooked every day and served on your private patio The position where it’s located it’s great as well since it’s 10 mins walking from the Ubud Palace Definitely recommend Hope to see you soon guys, thank you again 🙏🏻
