Staff were very nice & helpfull. Receptionist on Sun night was lovely and girl this am was nice too. Met a young guy who works there and he was very friendly. We had a chat about what work they were doing at the hotel. The evening restaurant staff were very busy so had to ask 3 times for a side order but they were also very nice as was the girl serving breakfast she was flying it on her own. Shower room was lovely & modern . Free parking at back .

Location is very good, in the heart of the town, Free car park around back of hotel. Breakfast was very good as was the evening meal in the bar area.

The walk from the reception to room, there is a lift but we where put in a room so far from the reception, for one night it was a bind getting the bags to the room then walking back to go out etc.

Very homely comfortable hotel with a cosy feel. Good atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms. Lovely powerful shower. Very clean throughout.

It would be good if there was a fridge in the room. We did get one on request

We had to leave our previous hotel in another town a day early, so I looked for a place along the way to our next destination. This place was available so I snagged it. It exceeded my expectations! Terrific service from everyone we encountered. I highly recommend!

Excellent breakfast and very efficient staff member who works there. She brought my son more pancakes when she seen he was acting difficult. Room very comfortable with lovely furnishings. Location is ideal in centre of the town.

All was positive, would stay again this May only they are booked up. A few times I have stayed now, I always seem to get rooms facing walls or laneways, would love to get a front facing room some day.

The staff were all fantastic, which is not something you can say for every hotel. Be it reception, restaurant, leisure centre, night porter, all really friendly and obliging - especially in the leisure centre. The restaurant was impressive - a nice selection of meals, even vegetarian meals, and very attentive staff.

Signs for parking - both from driving out on the road and within the hotel trying to find the way out to the car park. Also, there was no-one on reception after 10pm the evening I was there. I tried ringing from my room phone but it was diverting to a mobile answering service and I hate dealing with answer machines (but this is only a minor point!) .

Exceptional breakfast - with a curated menu with additional buffet style options. Location was great - right in the middle of the town

The hotel was easy to find on the map, although tricky to spot the hotel name as it was hidden behind a tree. Parking was on the back side.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Fantastic staff at reception very welcoming on arrival and departure. Fabulous breakfast with a wide selection of hot and cold items 😍. And service staff for breakfast were fantastic .Bedroom very spacious and comfortable

Room was fantastic. Food was delicious, especially breakfast. The staff were super friendly and efficient.,

The pool is a bit tired and in need of a spruce up in places. Also it was hard to get space to swim, except early morning, as it was always almost completely taken over by children’s swimming lessons.

The location was perfect for us. The rooms/beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. The food was wonderful. And every staff member encountered was professional, warm and welcoming. Top notch hotel!
