The staff were amazing and accommodated an early check in when we had to move from another hotel that did not meet our expectations. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and housekeeping service during our stay and also enjoyed the pool and fitness area. The location was wonderful and we were able to walk within a few minutes to the restaurants we had booked and the theatre. The valet service was also excellent.

Only suggestion would be to have an adults only time slot for the pool area. We were unable to use the hot tub on our last evening as there were many children using it.

Central Location was great for walking around downtown.

Few housekeeping maintenance issues. Room phone didn't work as the cords were removed so we had trouble getting in touch with the valet. No ironing board in room, iron was faulty and the water leaked out all over the floor while it was heating up. Bathroom faucet had a constant drip that we couldn't turn off.

In our King suite, our King-size mattress was very comfortable. We liked the size of the room, the 2 large TVs, the sizable desk space, the large and equipped bathroom, the cleanliness of everything, the relatively easy access to street parking in front of the hotel (we stayed on a Saturday night, so I do not know how hard it would have been to find easily accessible parking during a weekday). We took advantage of the pool and hot tub and were impressed by what it had to offer. The King suite is a pretty good room for a couple. This hotel is perfectly located in the center of everything in downtown Charlottetown and is connected to a nice small shopping mall. The staff was also incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about nearby restaurants and events, and overall helpful. This was our first stay at this hotel and we booked a King suite, so I cannot comment on the other rooms, but I can say that after this first experience, we will definitely book again at the Holman Grand.

The overall cost felt slightly high, apparently there's no breakfast served, and the paint on the floor of the main swimming pool was starting to chip a little, but that's about it. There really isn't much else to criticize about our stay as everything about our experience was fabulous. I can easily say that the next time I need a hotel in Charlottetown, I am certainly going to book at the Holman Grand.

Location. Staff services.

Why no shower door? (water leaked all over floor). Telephone never charged. (Oh well, we just used our cell phones). Bed comfort and pillows wasn't excellent, but adequate.

Cleanness and the location. The hotel was connected with a shopping mall and other stores by underpass, which was very convenient.

The shower door. The shower doesn’t have a full door neither shower curtain, so the floor gets wet no matter how careful you are.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic - within walking distance of shops, restaurants and all the main sites. Staff were really nice as well.

The restaurant which is not part of the restaurant but is in the lobby could have been better for breakfast. It was fine but we preferred to go out a get food elsewhere.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The location of the Holman Grand was very convenient, a short walk to the harbour and right across from the theatre and gallery. The view over the city and harbour was lovely.

Everything was great!

This is an impressive pet friendly hotel with a perfect location in downtown Charlottetown. Pretty well everything is within walking distance- the Confederation Center, the waterfront, hiking trails, shops and restaurants. You can expect a warm welcome at the front desk and an immaculately clean room. Bonus - the rooms have no carpets and there is a small window to let in fresh air! If you don’t find one of their cozy bathrobes in your closet, advise the front desk and they will make sure you have one for your stay. I highly recommend the Holman Grand Hotel for a visit to PEI’s beautiful capital city.

One minor detail. I was disappointed that there were no bathrobes in our room. The front staff employees were very apologetic about this when I checked out and advised me that, had they known, they would have been happy to rectify this immediately. Mistakes happen. :) I only mention this so that future guests are aware that bathrobes are available if somehow this amenity was overlooked when preparing the room.

The hot tub, pool and staff were great. Whenever we needed something the staff brought us extra towels, coffee etc.

We were a great of 3. We had a king and pull out couch. The couch was not at all acceptable. It was dirty and you could feel springs. The staff however, were excellent and brought a very comfortable cot in.

Location right at the heart of Charlotte town, everything accessible. Staff amazing and very helpful. Being able to bring our two Jack Russels added to our stay there. The view from our room made the experience memorable!

Okay nit picking time...the only thing that I can think off was the "small" shower...being 6 foot 3 inches it was a little too cosy for me.
